This was our first children's book and knew nothing about this whole process. Bookmarketeers and Chris and his team walked me through every phase of the process. I received a file of written material back from Bookmarketeers. Through no fault of them, the file was corrupted, and I did some reformatting myself to correct it. I spoke to the senior project manager, Keven, and he agreed to refund me $250 even though the problem was not the fault of his formatting and editing staff. I received the refund as promised. Usually, when we choose something on the internet about which we know nothing, we get stung or totally misled. That was the chance I took when I chose someone to help me with my first attempt at self-publishing one of my books. My 36 previous books were published by established commercial publishers through an agent. Several of my writer friends were already self-publishing and suggested I do the same.

One day I picked up the phone in need of desperation to upload my book onto many platforms and that’s when Book Marketeers came to my rescue in one day. There are things that you, as a writer, can’t or shouldn’t do for yourself. The cover sells your book, so unless you’re a graphic design artist, get a pro. You need an editor who will read what you wrote, instead of what you think you wrote. (With me, anyway, they are not always the same thing.) Then there is putting your manuscript in proper eBook and paperback formats and publishing it on the various platforms. Get Book Marketeers to do all this for you, so you can get started on your next book. Poor Chris had to put up with my changes of mind on the cover, blurb, and backmatter. The long-suffering Anne had to wait till I was in the mood to review editorial suggestions. And the elusive and mysterious Tessa had to get used to my peculiar literary “voice.” But they handled it like pros, and I was very pleased with the final product.

From my initial chat with Casey White my total experience with Book Marketeers has been nothing but excellent!
