Chards Coin and Bullion Dealer Opiniões 

Requested dispatch and delivery on Wednesday on a £5.6k order as I have to work on other days and will not be at home. This was completely ignored and dispatch was made on Friday. Request was written on delivery notes and an email sent to Leslie as well. Disappointing to the say the least. Asked Royal Mail to hold my order but they are very random and do not always follow requests. Will use another bullion dealer next time. And encourage others to do the same.

I made a mistake & promptly received an email from Chards to let me know. I then spoke to a charming senior gentleman, who gently guided me without undue stress, & corrected the complex issue for me. I did not feel belittled, but quite the opposite. Good old fashioned English charm.

Chards would definitely be my first choice now, as customer service was over and above, even if another company may be a few pounds cheaper.

(I normally buy from two other companies and wanted to give Chards a try.)

While Chards' prices are competitive, I was disappointed with the way the coins were packaged. They were all placed together in a single zip-lock bag, allowing them to rub against each other in transit, which isn't ideal for bullion coins.

When I queried why they couldn't at least use inexpensive individual coin sleeves or capsules, I was told this was to keep costs down and offer cheaper prices. I don't really understand that reasoning—surely the cost of basic protective packaging is negligible compared to the value of the coins, and protecting the product should be a priority.

Competitive pricing is appreciated, but it loses its appeal if the coins aren't adequately protected during shipping.

I spent over £5k and asked for my items to be delivered on a Wednesday when I would be off work. I added this to the delivery note on my order. I also sent a email to chards for added security. Leslie from chards replied back saying “we are pleased to confirm your order will be dispatched today for delivery tomorrow “ So it will be delivered on Saturday and I won’t be at home. This company is a joke and I don’t think I can ever spend a penny with this business again.

Personal friendly staff. Gave us best options and her personal opinion of what were better buys for us. Thank you very much Hilary for your expertise.

There are many options for selling bullion but I chose Chards due to their competitive offer pricing (much better than almost all of the alternatives), professional process and approach which was clearly explained and managed after I spoke to them, their very competitively priced insured courier collection service and finally rapid completion of the sale. No question that I shall be using Chards again.
