Review from an ex-customer throwing away yet another EB plate
Writing this review as a warning to others. My last EB order was actually September 2023 but I have put my experience date as today - my latest of many, many experiences of finding yet ANOTHER of my EB items has crazed. Every bit of my day to day crockery was Emma Bridgewater, but is gradually being replaced as one item after another crazes over time. Super entertainingly, when my crockery was within the guarantee period and I contacted customer services, emails stated that crazing was 'rare' - what a ridiculous statement. So 'rare' that they shortened the period covered by their guarantee period - clearly super confident in the quality of their own products there 🙄
My last order was in 2023: I used to buy crockery for myself and as gifts for others, but I will not be ordering from EB ever again - either for myself or for anyone else.

As our pottery is handmade, crazing can occur over time. It is a natural characteristic of glazed ceramics and can be influenced by factors such as temperature changes, regular use, and washing methods. That said, we appreciate that understanding this does not lessen the disappointment when it affects pieces you value, especially when it happens more than once.
We also regret that previous explanations and communications did not meet your expectations and contributed to your loss of confidence in the brand. This is not how we want customers to feel, particularly those who have supported Emma Bridgewater for so long.
Your feedback regarding product longevity, expectations, and customer service communication has been noted and shared with the relevant teams as part of our ongoing review. We’re sorry that your experience has led you to step away from the brand.

Lovely pottery as usual
I ordered and received exact what I ordered all in perfect order and looking good
Only thing was the Evri delivery which was left at the end of the drive. Obviously couldn’t do the short walk to the door. Left In a position where anyone passing could have just picked it up from the pavement

Didn't get the wow factor expected
My first order after admiring emma Bridgewater items for a while..not overly impressed. Didn't get the wow factor I thought i would get. One item, a biscuit tin arrived damaged and dented. An enamel roasting tray turned up with the enamel scratched...I'm waiting for a reply from Emma Bridgewater about this...

Had accidentally smashed a mug I had purchased a year before, quickly found the same mug online at the same price but very easy to navigate, easy to place the order and plenty of communication for tracking the delivery. Super fast delivery and the mug came very well supported. Always happy to buy from Emma Bridgewater and will always continue to do so. Highly recommend for everyone! Much love

Shameful
Few disappointments regarding EB. First time I never even got the courtesy of a reply when I complained about poor quality of a mug I had bought. It arrived with cracks inside from poor glaze. Today though was ludicrous! At Clarke shopping village, Street,Somerset You do not take cash and then have 2 women in there turning people away as card machine was not working correctly. They said we would have to go back! Cheek of it. We went there last so we wouldn’t have to carry china around with us! I know £250 isn’t a lot for your company and you made it seem like that today so I will have to buy my Christmas presents elsewhere. Shame on you!

I am so lucky to live near Emma Bridgewater at Clark's Village and all the girls in the shop are just wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful! Please never leave!
