Fusion Academy has made it possible for my child to learn at his pace, with a sense of support and safety that he could not receive in public school. The 1:1 format has helped him be seen as an individual and allowed for a deeper, more engaged way of learning. The curriculum is tailored to his learning style and personlized to his interests, so he really wants to go to school! We are incredibly thankful to the administration, teaching and community that creates a space that is welcoming!

My child has been attending Fusion since 6th grade. He is very smart but was continually dysregulated in a traditional school setting. Fusion's 1:1 format and relationship building with my son helped him to feel safe, heard and trusted, something he had never experienced in a school setting before. I honestly don't know what would have happened for my son if we hadn't found Fusion.

Our daughter has never been better supported than she is at Fusion, and we’ve explored many different school options. The staff is incredibly understanding of her needs and does a wonderful job individualizing her experience and education. My daughter has made friends, attends outings, and genuinely enjoys herself. One of my favorite things I’ve heard from the staff was, “This is a challenging situation, but I know there’s a solution in here somewhere, and we’re willing to find it.”

Fusion Academy saved my son’s life. I know that sounds extreme, but it’s the truth. He was suicidal and as parents, we were absolutely lost. We met with the directors at Fusion and they gave us our first glance at hope. Fusion is an amazing environment that allows your son or daughter to make progress at their own pace which gives them confidence -much unlike the busy pace of traditional school where he or she may be feeling like a constant failure because they are unable to keep up. Not only that, but the way the teachers factor in your child’s interests and incorporate them into the lessons is so helpful. I remember one student was a classical musician and his English teacher allowed him to write a musical piece (along with a short essay) for each character of Romeo and Juliet and interpret the story through music. My son was able to approach lessons using methods and subject matter that interested him - which kept him engaged and helped him make sense of what was being taught.
We are so grateful to Fusion for giving our son the confidence he carries with him today. He is now 25 and has a soaring career, is engaged to be married and most importantly, he is happy. A far cry from the suicidal teen he was when we pulled him from public school in a desperate attempt to save his life. Fusion gave him the confidence and the building blocks to become the person we always hoped he could be.

We came in mid year and it was such a smooth transition for our son. Normally he’s very anxious about school but he has had zero anxiety at Fusion. Everyone has been so kind.

My grandson has been turned completely around from the destructive path he was on in public school by the teachers and staff at Fusion. God bless you all.

Excellent, engaged teachers and support staff. The 1:1 personalized teaching experience and more supportive environment is working very well for our daughter and learning is fun again! I would highly recommend Fusion Academy.

Fusion Academy is an extraordinarily special place for students that have struggled in traditional classroom settings. Our son is Autistic and in his prior public school career - he was being pushed along and through the system. Now he is part of a community where learning is tailored to his style and surrounded by tremendous teachers and students that treat each other with respect and compassion.

We came to Fusion from another highly regarded private school in the area. For the last few years, our daughter has struggled to stay focused on her work in the classroom and was generally "slipping through the cracks" academically. After much thought and research, we decided to try something totally different and ended up being referred to Fusion by multiple people.

Today is her 6th day of school and we have already started to see huge, positive changes. No longer is she stressed and frustrated trying to stay organized, finish assignments, learn concepts and stay focused in class. No longer are we spending 4-5 hours every day and over the weekend reteaching skills, finding lost/unfinished assignments, and sending emails to the teachers asking for information on assignments/extra copies/grades... Instead, our daughter comes home cheerful and relaxed, with no homework or studying to do (it's all done on campus in the supervised homework room), and we get a personalized email from every teacher every afternoon with information about what they are working on and how she is doing. It's like we have a new kid and, we couldn't be more pleased with the program, teachers, academics, and staff.

As an educator with a master's degree in educational psychology and 20 years of experience in the classroom, I was nervous to remove her from the standard classroom and the social experiences a traditional school offers. Looking back, I wish Fusion was also accredited to be an elementary school! We would be in such a different place had she started at Fusion a few years ago when she began struggling to stay focused and organized, get her work finished in a timely fashion, learn how to take notes and study for tests and most importantly, master academic concepts. An enormous weight has been lifted from our family. My husband and I get to be her parents (not her teacher/tutor, life coach, secretary, homework supervisor, ...) and cheerleaders again, she has time to enjoy activities outside of school, likes school again, and she has started to regained her joyful, silly self.
Don't hesitate to set up a meeting and go for a visit. Fusion might be just what your kiddo needs to be successful and happy at school.

Fusion Academy is excellent. It was the perfect academic match for our daughter. After stuggling for years in school our daughter transfered to Fushion where she went from a very stressed out defeated student to a very confident and happy student. All of the staff and teachers were amazing. They were supportive and sincere. They helped our daughter realize her academic potential. Our daughter just started her first year of college and couldn't be happier.

My daughter has been with Fusion for three years now, and I would recommend it to anyone! It is one to one teaching. She has to pay attention because she does not want to let her teacher down. She has to take responsibility with her studies because she is the only one in the room the next day with her teacher. And the teacher knows when she does not understand the material. She builds a relationship with her teachers which in turns, makes it easier to ask questions over and over if necessary until she understand the material. It is a great concept. We love it!

Great experience at Fusion Mission Viejo. The teachers are passionate, and the one-on-one instruciton was what we needed. My only suggestion is providing more guidance for Seniors when it comes to post secondary education, and plans for continued eduation following graduating from Fusion. Each student is unqiue, and therefore also requires a unique approach when it comes to college planning.
