Excellent Service from Wing

Wing is the best CS agent I ever talk to! Very knowledgeable, professional and patient. She need to be promoted and raise to recognise her hard work!

Customer service specialist Wing is extremely patient and professional! She responds quickly and proactively resolves customer inquiries, and her ability to anticipate potential difficulties and offer solutions gives customers peace of mind. During our initial conversation, due to some obstacles, we were ultimately unable to sign a service agreement. However, in subsequent interactions, she remembered each customer's situation and provided corresponding solutions. This made me appreciate Wing's care and respect for customers. When setting up certain systems, Wing provides step-by-step guidance, saving customers a lot of trouble. Having Wing as a member of your customer service team is a valuable asset. She definitely deserves a promotion and a raise!

They won't return your call

They won't return your call. 1 Week now I requested a call back to cancel my home phone. We don't use the service since December 2025. They get money from my CC December and then January. Avoid this company at all cost. They will not entertain you if you want to cancel the service.

I have been using iTalkBB home phone service in Toronto for years and recently subscribed to their Hong Kong phone number app service which is capable of inter alia receiving messages like OTP
I found this very useful when I traveled to Hong Kong and China for 3 weeks since early October.
For the last two days I accidentally logged out of my account and could not log back in despite several futile attempts. I got lucky Ah Wing came to my rescue that she responded to my request promptly. She was so nice that she tried several ways to guide me step by step and I could now use my account as originally intended.

Be careful about the hidden fee in the monthly payment!

italkBB is well known about their cheap plans. They use them to attract the new customers. But be careful to check closely the contract.

My current subscription is CA 8.99 Unlimited Canada Plan No Contract. But I am paying $13.41 every month. When I went to check with the customer service, they mentioned about $2.88 monthly payment for account management, paying their supplier. My question is if this is monthly requirement, why is it included in the monthly plan. This sounds dishonest!

The $2.88 fee you mentioned is a standard regulatory/compliance charge, which covers several essential services, including porting costs, E911 charges, system access fees, HST paid to service and equipment providers, Do Not Call costs, DID costs, and other related regulatory fees. These charges are collected by iTalkBB and paid over to the relevant government departments.
This fee is clearly highlighted in the application process and is also available for review on our website, ensuring transparency from the start. We aim to provide a simple and inclusive pricing structure by charging a low flat rate for these fees, unlike many other telecom providers who itemize these charges separately.

Before cancel the line

Before cancel the line, customer service tell me that i have point to redeem, after that tell me again the point been expired, i would like to find out why never direct take out the point every month for the customer. To cancel the line i have to wait for another department to call me back, is there everyone keep on remember and waiting for the phone call or to call back when the last day of the payment ??
