Kitchenaid - what can I say! Product and Customer Service are both atrocious. I purchased an item from them (for my place of work), this failed twice and was replaced. When it failed a third time, we were given vouchers to use, instead of a replacement machine. Subsequently, I found a replacement that was discounted and tried to use the vouchers to pay for it. The discount disappeared on line at the checkout and we had to pay the difference (£39). Kitchenaid, emailed to advise that the refund would be processed on receipt of invoices and screeshots. All this was done and I am still trying to get the refund from them. This has been ongoing since August 2025 and Kitchenaid are now trying to renege on the refund.
I want to give zero stars
I want to give zero stars. The most appalling customer service. I returned a cake mixer on Dec 31, 2025. It wasn't good quality for the cost. I was told a week later it had been received. But the refund they sent was not the full amount. Since then i have made numerous complaints and phone calls and tried to raise an independent arbitration but I a still almost £300 out of pocket. I would suggest you do not engage with this company at all.

We bought a new kettle from Kitchen Aid this week and within *one day* the lid stopped working properly - often not opening. We had bought a similar kettle a few years ago and had to have it replaced twice as each time it stopped working within a few months. We should have learned a lesson then or read the reviews here first!
Worse company ever
I was thinking to leave a review on Google , but OMG , I don’t think @kitchenaid_uk are really interested at this, many people complaining and I wish I could see that site before I was buying my appliance .
Many costumer’s complaining how bad is this company and the agents/engineers that are working for them , Trojan is another one, this company takes the appliances from Kitchen Aid and “fix” them , I’m not sure how many time they successfully fix these appliances but mine wasn’t one of them .
@kitchenaidusa you should remove the license for Kitchen Aid UK as they don’t do a proper job, have a look their goggle reviews and check how bad they do in UK.

Want to give zero but unable to. Appalling, non existent customer service. Appliance still in guarantee period but no response from customer service after 2 months of numerous emails and calls. AVOID THIS COMPANY
DON'T BUY KITCHENAID
I bought a KitchenAid espresso machine in August. I was thinking about buying their food processor and thought I'd try the coffee machine first. By October I tried to contact KitchenAid as the coffee machine had multiple issues. Even their phone number in the UK customer service manual was incorrect. After twelve emails, I has a reply.I always cc head of Whirlpool UK because they were so unprofessional. I finally dropped off the machine at the DPD drop off the 7 January to go back to them to be repaired. I had an email the next day stating that they had received the machine. Sixteen days later, I have heard nothing from them nor received my machine back. I have emailed and no reply.So, I bought a KitchenAid product in early August and used about thirty times and six months later have nothing. Don't buy anything from this company.

After 2 weeks the customer service over IG just told me they can't help me.
That's it, no further help, i wanted to remind them it is against the law to refuse giving post purchase warranty assistance
Damaged Mixer
I bought a mixer and, when it arrived, it was clearly damaged: there was a chip on the unit, the polystyrene packaging inside the box was broken up, and the plug wasn’t secured. Overall, it looked very much like a returned item that had been repacked.
KitchenAid has refused to replace it. They offered only a 10% refund, saying I didn’t report the issue within 14 days under their T&Cs. While I accept I missed that window, it was a Christmas present and I understood my consumer rights (up to 6 months) would still apply if the item was damaged or not as described.
They’re now ignoring my emails, and their obligations to me as a consumer, which is extremely frustrating and means that whatever rights you think you have when buying from them, they just ignore it and do what they want.
KitchenAid broke after 1 year
KitchenAid (over £400) broke after 1 year of using it. Bowl became jammed in the stand so KitchenAid repaired it but the woman on the phone was so rude and asked why I did not own a printer to be able to print the label off. Appliance came back and broke again within 5 months. Sent it back again and it came back with the same bowl still damaged. I phoned up customer service to ask will it not just happen again and the man on the phone was unhelpful, kept putting me on hold without telling me what was going on and I am no further into getting the issue sorted. Bad product, bad customer service and not worth your money!!
How are they still in business??
Bought an artisan mixer for Christmas on their website and it came faulty. Used it once and it's first gear/speed was doing a bad clicking and metal grinding noise. As i was within 14 days i hopped the mixer will just be replaced. Not a chance, it was a clown show. They refunded my money and washed their hands of my issue. I did not request a refund i request the product to be replaced. Now the price has changed and it cost me £80 more. They refuse to sell me the product and honour the initial price. Rubish company. I was hoping to come and do some damage with my review but little did i know kitchenaid rating is already this bad. Next tome read customer reviews before buying.
Candy Red Kettle enamel coming away
Purchased Candy Red Kettle and Toaster back in February 2025. Noticed the enamel is coming away near lid of kettle. We fill our kettle from a filter jug on the opposite side of where the damage is, so really unsure why this has happened. Also, I wipe clean only.
Rang Kitchenaid and was basically told they can't fix it and guarantee won't cover it as I could have misused it, like using harsh cleaner (who uses a cleaner that can melt enamel?). One occasion the phone was put down on me as well. They said I should get money back from Harts of Stur who I originally purchased it from. I did call them, they were very pleasant, but their guarantee only covers the first 6 months. Personally it's a product fault and Harts of Stur shouldn't be the ones refunding or replacing in my opinion.
We were considering getting the mixer, but no way I would purchase from them again. Their products are very expensive and I am surprised that after less than a year I am having problems like this and it makes me wonder how many others have had the same experience as I know this is not down to wear & tear or misuse.

God I wish I’d visited this page prior to purchasing what I thought was a quality product, boy I was wrong. The products look ok for a short time after purchase then thinks go wrong, rubbish customer service with obviously no regard for feedback looking at the no of 1 star reviews. £160 for a kettle that after 9 months has blustered and chipped around the top as can’t handle the process it’s brought for boiling water. The paint work is rubbish and would not recommend this product
Terrible experience with Kithchen Aid Customer Service
Terrible experience with useless customer service team, I bought a food processor on the Kitchenaid website...unfortunately it was the wrong model so I wanted to cancel a first order (placed on 30th of November 2024!) and they told me I could not - I had to refuse the delivery - which I did, however they never gave me a tracking number and never received from the courier proof of refused delivery. I then placed the second order (6th December 2024) again on their website for the item I actually wanted, even in this occasion they send confirmation of purchase but no tracking number...the order was never received and when I called up to check where it was I was told the order was refused (which was not as I never received it in the first place!) ....yet they have been very quick in taking £900+ of my money and don't seem be able to sort this out. Keep calling their customer service and they are unable to find a solution, no tracking numbers, no nothing. I am now on the 31st of December and nobody knows what is happening!!!!Very...very very poor! Don't buy!

I bought a KitchenAid grater pack for my daughter for Christmas. I bought off their website on 29th October. Unfortunately I didn't realise you need the attachment for the grater pack, KitchenAid don't sell the attachment piece separately and it comes with the 3 grater attachments. I rang them today to ask to return the grater pack and order the attachment and graters, I was told they have a 14 day return policy, when I tried to explain that I have to spread my Christmas shopping out over a number of months to afford presents I was more or less told tough, that's our policy, can't help. Great customer service KitchenAid........

Bought a lovely looking espresso machine. Stopped working after 2 months. Got refund from Amazon, replaced with the same model, this one lasted 3 months. Kitchenaid in the uk were useless, not able to offer any product support except a repair. Amazon again refunded (not fit for purpose). Will not buy the brand again.

This is awful the website is bad I tried ordering a gift kept going through payment took all my details then error screen saying order not gone through. Tried a couple of times the same. Then ended up charged with multiple orders sent out. I’ve been trying to sort this out for ages lots of emails. I have returned item now just waiting for the order to update and refund done. Customer Service not helpful
Bought a kitchen aid mixer less than a year ago it was a special edition model. It had a fault and caught on fire so was returned to Kitchen Aid for inspection/repair. They notified me via email that it isn't repairable and they can't replace it so attached Kitchen Aid Vouchers.
I wanted this particular model as it matches my kitchen. I went on the website and the model I had is still showing but when I went to order it is out of stock. I clicked on notify when back in stock.
I searched online to see if any other retailers have this kitchen and found a retailer with stock.
So I emailed Kitchen aid to see if the vouchers can be replaced by cash, so can get my replacement. I didn't get any response so I have rung customer services. I have been told that they can't make that decision and it will been escalated to a manager/supervisor who will get back to me soon.
So after a week I call again and get the same response - that it needs escalating to a manager and that this has been done via Email. I asked if they have a manager I can talk to, but I am told no.
However I never get anything from them. I have received no answer. Its been a month now and I am being given the run around. I never get a response from someone at Kitchen aid with authority to replace the vouchers with cash. I just feel like I am being given the run around.
I just want a replacement of the same kitchen aid. If they can't get me a replacement - provide me with the money to buy one from another stockist. It shouldn't be too difficult just have someone in Customer Services available who has authority to deal with more complex issues.

Rejected the duplicate order, as per their advice, and now stuck with double charge on my card. Told it will take up to two weeks for refund.
Customer service acknowledged this is a common issue. Yet refused to make good on the issue.

KitchenAid You are the most unhelpful, rude and arrogant company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I had saved to buy a new kettle and toaster at a cost of £322. I believed ordering with you directly would be best-I wish I’d read your Trustpilot reviews they are diabolical and the worst I’ve ever seen.
My order was not delivered by the agreed delivery date, legally specified when purchasing. Every time I call I’m lied too that it’s ’shipping now,’ today I’ve been told it’s a ‘ghost order,’ which I won’t get despite you taking the money, repeatedly lying to me and making something lovely a horiffic experience. I’m now told by the most recent arrogant little man that you don’t know when or if I’ll get a refund, I won’t refund the goods and that he can only contact by email-I was refused a manager.
He told me he was offended by my loud tone-I am intact deaf and find phone calls utterly impossible especially to vile unhelpful jobsworths such as today’s one. He purposely stuck me on hold and said it was because he didn’t like my voice and didn’t want to help me. Do you realise disability discrimination and purposeful abuse is a crime?
This is theft-you cannot withold money for goods I’ve legally paid for and hope it just disappears,
You should be beyond disgusted with your conduct, there’s really no words. I will ensure I tell anybody who will listen about this experience to ensure people don’t have to go through the same upset and huge loss of money I have this week.
