Downton Abbey tour

The coach driver was pleasant and efficient. However, seats in the coach were very close together, with no room to move your legs or stretch to relieve the cramped position. Necessary stops were efficiently managed but with no planned activities they really were of little interest. All told there was too much "down time" to use up the two days allocated to the tour.

The very large hotel used for the overnight stop was clean but the arrangements for the evening meal were chaotic and the food was of mediocre quality.

The exclusive tour of Highclere Castle was exclusive only in the sense that the venue was closed to the general public for the day and each of the many coach parties was given three hours to find their own way around.

Highclare Castle itself was worth a visit but the two day activity could easily have been achieved in one day. Al in all, I was very disappointed and I will not embark on any future two-day tours.

A Visit to Highclere Castle with National and Just Go Holiday's

Really enjoyable night away with the convience of being pick up local to where I live. It was a feeder service but both drivers were very friendly and helpful. A nice hotel in a good location.

From start to finish absolutely amazing…

From start to finish absolutely amazing little breakaway to Highclere Castle. 2 glorious days in sun unexpected 3 coursemeal in a 4 star hotel and a surprise few hours in Stratford. Would definitely recommend National Holidays. And we will be definitely using again.

We liked not having to drive but……

We liked not having to drive but we were picked up at 5am in Leicester and didn’t arrive at our 1st stop till approx 1.30. - too long!
We have been on quite a few mystery tours and always end up with in York or Scarborough.
It might be good if you advertise mystery tours ie mystery tour north, mystery tour south, mystery tour east or mystery tour west.
Bus driver was very good.
Toilet was disgusting - no water to wash hands & on second day it was full of urine - full to the top and couldn’t flush it!

They cancelled my holiday again so I…

They cancelled my holiday again so I requested my £200,deposit back told it coukd be up to 14 days a joke. Last time they moved our pick ip point 15 us miles aeay. Never book again with this company. Time off work booked dog booked with dog minder everyone suffers.

Great break

Great break, the only thing I could fault was as I’m gluten intolerant there was a real lack of choice when it came to the evening meal options were steak pie or scampi. When I booked I was looking for somewhere to add dietary requirements but could not see any. Didn’t want to ask the hotel incase they said I couldn’t have anything so worked around the options. However, the hotel room and driver on the coach was lovely. I had a really nice time.

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the overall customer service and handling of my order.
I attempted to purchase a gift voucher online as a last-minute birthday gift, but the website would not allow me to proceed with an amount over £5. I then contacted customer service by phone, explained the situation clearly, and was assured the voucher would be emailed in time for the following day.
Despite this, it took four days and two further phone calls for the voucher to finally arrive. A voucher PIN was provided verbally during the call; however, the physical voucher was required for the gift. We have since also found that the PIN provided was not accurate.
When I raised a complaint about the delay, I was told that my account of the phone call was not accurate. When I asked for the call to be reviewed, I was informed that calls are not recorded and that they would only rely on the staff member’s version of events. This left me with no way to verify what was actually said during the call.
I then received further unprofessional email responses from a supervisor, which gave the impression that my concerns were being dismissed rather than properly investigated.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the lack of accountability and how the situation was handled from start to finish. The experience left me feeling that the customer’s version of events carries little weight, with no fair way to challenge staff accounts.

Trip down was as good as could be…

Trip down was as good as could be expected, bearing in mind the destination was London. Friendly competent drivers.

Great show.

Would not recommend The Ibis, Stratford. Poor breakfast - only egg option was scrambled and this appeared to be from powdered egg. Bathroom smelled of drains or mould. Room size, at least, was adequate for London. Redeeming factor was a very cheap Wetherspoons nearby.

Great company to use

Great company to use, from start to finish. Only downside is that there are too many pick ups, which makes it a very long journey at times.

Went with a friend on the overnight…

Went with a friend on the overnight mystery trip. Coach great, nice clean and comfortable. Couldn't fault the driver.
Ended up in Scarborough. Terrible hotel. Not too clean, evening meal was awful. Decent breakfast.
Worst bed I've ever slept in so uncomfortable.
I definitely wouldn't do one of these trips again and risk having to spend another night in that dreadful hotel.

We enjoyed our mystery weekend

We enjoyed our mystery weekend. Staying in Whitby for the afternoon then on to Scarborough for the evening and the next day.
Everything ran like clockwork.

Not a great experience

Driver Owen was great but sadly it was Whitby and Scarborough yet again. They keep advertising pick up from Fosse Park but the last twice have moved this to Leicester city centre. This may not seem a big deal but with 5am pick up, no buses, all ncp car parks closed down and not all taxis willing to pick up so early this causes difficulties as we hd to get to Fosse Park anyway. Unfortunately customer service is non existent. Hotel and driver good but that was it.
