We appreciated the driver making comfort stops both ways the hotel was very nice and staff so friendly. We had plenty of time at the palace the whole holiday went very smoothly.

The taxi arrived a liitle early -which was good The coach was on time. Dave, the driver,was very helpful and approachable. The air con on coachwas good on the way down -not so much on the way back..There was a 3 hour stop off in Windsor which was really enjoyable.
THe Voco hotel in reading was good. The staff were really helpful -even managing to book us in for a swim at short notice. THere wqas a good selection of food - my friend is a vegan and the desserts weren't suitable but when she explained on the 2nd night,the manager in charge of the cafe had a fruit salad freshly prepared for her. Bar prices were steep.
The car park at Hampton court was a bit of a slog to the palace -especially in the heat wave.
Henley on Thames stop off on way home was 2 hours -more than enough.
Dave made sure we had rest stops and when air con wasn't working very well he opened the skylights.

Home pick up and drop off brilliant.
Great itinerary, excellent driver/host.
Really nice hotel with air conditioning in room. Good breakfast and dinner. Comfortable coach.

Coach travel was excellent, hotel ok could do with a refresh, lounge furniture shabby , dining room ok, food excellent, staff very attentive. All good, our room didn’t have a view, it had a domed roof 12 inches from our window, so we couldn’t see anything. On 2 evenings the hotel had events in the ballroom which was beneath our room so we had vibrating beds and noise until music finished. We shall make sure we have a better room next time even if it costs more.

Everything went well , from beginning to end.

Holiday was ok apart from our room being small and at the back of the hotel where all we could hear day and night were the seagulls. On arriving at the services there was no taxi. Our driver had informed Palmer's office that we would be late as a taxi had been late at the previous stop. Apparently they didn't inform the taxi company. Needless to say we weren't impressed and will be very wary about booking with Palmers again.

Overall the holiday was very good. Coach, driver, hotel were all good. Mike on coach not working which meant we did not get updates during the journey. John did his very best at each stop, could not have done more, but we did not always know where we were.
Three hours in Dorchester was too long. The gardens afterwards warrented extra time.
Otherwise great trip, meals were really good in the hotel, room clean and pleasant. Entertainment on a couple of nights, which was good too.

First our driver Rhianna fabulous. Attentive courteous and caring always available walked round the dining room at evening in case there was any questions or concerns a credit to Palmers

Sidmouth in the Sun
Excellent, well sited, hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Meals were varied, tasty and well cooked. Desserts were especially tempting!
Coach was comfortable ( once aircon was sorted out) and our driver was entertaining and obliging.
We have enjoyed many coach holidays over the last 20 years, with Palmers and other operators, and in my opinion this one to Sidmouth, was the best of the lot!

Holiday was let down by the mini bus door to door service. Driver unwilling to help load luggage and assist a disabled passenger before and after the trip. Then choosing to drive well over the speed limit to get to our destinations. Terrible service.

THE DRIVER WAS GREAT. IT WAS THE HOTEL WAS NOT TO GOOD THE MAIN FOR DINNER MEAL WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL THE FISH WAS DRY CHICKEN WAS NOT OK FOR PEOPLE. LOOKING OUT OF BEDROON WINDOW LOTS OF CARBOARD AND WOOD JUST RIGHT FOR RATS.PELLING WOOD AND WINDOWS HAD POO ON THEM FROM THE GULLS.FINGER MARKS ON THE DOORS. THE WHOLE PLACE WAS NOT TO SCRATCH. ALSO TO FAR OUT WILL NOT GO AGAIN NOTHING LIKE THE THE THE VIEW HOTEL MRS J SWAIN

The places we visited were interesting but there was no tour guide on the bus to tell us what we were seeing as we passed. The bus basically dropped us of in Bath, Oxford and Salisbury, it would have been much better to have gone on a tour of these cities so we knew what was there for us to focus on when we stopped. There was no guide at Blenheim, it was covered in scaffolding, which we had not been made aware of before booking, it was only when we got to the end of walking round the palace that we found audio guides were available and we didn’t have enough time to start again. We had two coach drivers over the five days and the first one, Gordon, was grumpy, unfriendly and unhelpful, however the second one, Ally, was a huge improvement. He gave us clear instructions and did whatever he was able to assist us. The hotel, whilst a little tired in decor, was clean and comfortable with superb staff, who were extremely helpful when required. The access to the hotel was dreadful for a coach to get to, there were only 19 people on our bus, so it might have been better to have a luxury minibus. I am really not sure I would go with Palmer Holidays again nor recommend them, given the cost and what I have mentioned above. It would have probably worked out much cheaper for us if we had arranged all these things ourselves, you expect at least a tour guide and guided tours when paying a premium with a tour company. I have given 3 stars on account of the hotel staff, Ally the coach driver and the lovely places we saw (by ourselves!)

From being picked up at the door by the taxi and getting back home. Everything was 1st class? Craig (the coach driver) couldn't do enough for us, and his driving was very smooth. Hotel in Mayrhofen was central and very comfortable

Excellent coach driver,really good hotels,professional service throughout the journey and at all the hotels.Kept informed as to any changes or problems with the itinerary,able to enjoy the holiday without any stress.

Had a great time. Very organised. Driver was excellent, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Hotel was lovely but was tired. Needs doing up. Food was brilliant. Will use Palmers again.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff.

The whole experience - Scenery, Itinerary accommodation and organisation. Not to be overlooked was the lovely group of people we travelled with and of course Brynn our driver.
This trip fulfilled an ambition we have had for a long time and the weather was also very good to us making the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable
