I have been extremely disappointed with the service provided by Reeds Rains as the managing agents for my rental property.

Throughout the tenancy, I repeatedly had to chase them to organise renewals and basic administrative matters that should have been proactively managed. On multiple occasions, I had to bring to their attention that the tenant had not paid the full rent, despite paying for a full management service and expecting these issues to be identified and addressed by the agent.

The final straw was being told that the keys to my property could not be located, only to then have it suggested that I had arranged to collect them myself, which was simply untrue.

To add further frustration, Reeds Rains have responded to this review asking me to contact the branch directly. However, I emailed the branch yesterday regarding these concerns and, at the time of writing, have received no response. Unfortunately, this only reinforces my experience that concerns are not addressed appropriately and communication is severely lacking.

As a landlord, you appoint a managing agent to provide professionalism, communication and peace of mind. Unfortunately, my experience with Reeds Rains has been the complete opposite. I cannot recommend their property management service based on my experience.

I recently popped into the Reeds Rains Bridlington branch to enquire about several properties that had just come onto the market, and I was once again impressed by the exceptional service I received from Letara.

From the moment I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to listen to exactly what I was looking for and provided honest, helpful advice on each of the properties. Nothing was too much trouble, and she answered all of my questions with patience and genuine enthusiasm.

Letara’s efficiency, attention to detail, and proactive approach really set her apart. She goes above and beyond to ensure you feel valued and informed, making what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and enjoyable.

Most recently, we were looking to purchase another rental property, and Letara kindly arranged for a financial adviser to call me to discuss the options available. Her proactive approach, excellent communication, and willingness to help made the whole process so much easier.

It’s rare to receive such consistently outstanding customer service. Letara is a real credit to the Bridlington branch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both her and Reeds Rains to anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent a property. Thank you for all your help!

Amazing work by Martin and team at Ballyhackamore on the sale of my daughter's apartment in Belfast. Constant chasing of solicitors and paperwork, without this the whole transaction would have taken til Christmas! Cant thank you enough! Booked a viewing for a property. Explained could only make the time we’d arranged due to work commitments. Latest viewing was 5.15!! Really? What kind of estate agents don’t do evening viewings? Phoned me at 1.30 on the day to effectively cancel by telling me they could only do the viewing at 5. Told them I couldn’t make that as partner working til 5, plus I’m self employed and I’d taken half day off work at considerable financial loss. Emailed later that day to complain. Told me they could have done 5.10 if I still wanted to go!!! I’d already arranged a different viewing elsewhere by that point. What a carry on. Very unprofessional

I had a very good experience with this company when buying a house. Alan very helpfully showed me around and Jane managed the sale. The process was easy and pleasant and they were swiftly responsive to all my queries. The service was excellent and I am very happy with it.

Don't use this estate agent I rented by them and the area is a drug infested no man's land they lied about proper parking and on a weekend when holiday makers are here you can't get a space anywhere also was told if I had deliveries they could accept as I've had parcels going missing they lied about this too as I've recently ordered some items from Amazon and now they are refusing to accept delivery so not only have I lost what I've ordered from Amazon but all I got was uninterested attitude so my advice go with another estate agent if you want to buy a property or rent one😡😡

We bought from Reeds Rain Folkestone. From the first viewing the agents were helpful and honest! They supported us through every stage of the process efficiently and prifessionally. Ellen and Adam were excellent communicators. The last week before completion qas made exceptionally difficult by external factors but the Folkestone team were extremely supportive and proactive. We were made theoretically homeless by poor conveyancing services but Ellen and Adam worked tirelessly to resolve the situation. Thankfully they were successful. I am genuiely so grateful for their support and guidance. Excellent human-side service. Thank you guys !

Do not use Reeds Rains (LSL Group). They left our property in a mess (£90,000's worth). & just shrug their shoulders.

I have now dealt with Karis & Luke at Reeds Rain twice in the last 3 years, & found them to be excellent in the purchase & sale of my house. Kept updated with the whole process as it progressed. I would like to extend my gratitude for all the help they have given me, so many thanks, hopefully use them again in the near future. Keep up the great work you are doing. Thank you.
