Avoid at All Costs – Uniq Block Management Ltd Is a Nightmare for Contractors
I’ve worked with Uniq Block Management Ltd as a contractor for over a year, and I can confidently say it’s been one of the most frustrating professional experiences I’ve had. We’re a small handyman company that relies on timely payments to keep our business running smoothly. Despite our terms stating invoices are due upon receipt, we generously allowed them 14 days to pay. Out of 10 invoices submitted this financial year, not one has been paid on time.
Chasing payments has become a full-time job. We’re constantly met with excuses like “The director is on holiday, we can’t pay you,” which is both unprofessional and unacceptable. Their customer service is virtually non-existent—emails go ignored, and calls lead nowhere. It’s clear they have no respect for the contractors who help keep their properties maintained.
Their communication is diabolical, their business practices are sloppy, and their disregard for agreed payment terms is appalling. If you’re a contractor considering working with them, do yourself a favour and walk away. We regret not doing so sooner.
