Paid a subscription

Paid a subscription. Linked mirror to mobile app. Still telling me to pay a subscription. Absolute joke. Tried the customer contact number - it isn’t even a real number (0800). Is this a scam company?!? I’ve noticed Vaha customer service replying to people on here so can someone please reply to my emails and app chat! Beyond a joke.

So bald man ein Problem hat wird man…

So bald man ein Problem hat wird man völlig alleine gelassen. Unter der Telefonnummer ist niemand erreichbar und im Chat bekommt man abgesehen von der automatischen Ansage keine Hilfe.
Leider sind die Lautsprecher an dem Spiegel nach 2Jahren kaputt gegangen. Kommt kein Ton raus. Damit ist das gesamte Gerät und die Mitgliedschaft völlig unbrauchbar.
Kundenservice unterirdisch!
Auch auf meine Email mit der Bitte um Hilfe kam keine Reaktion.
Sehr Schade wäre gerne länger Mitglied geblieben. Denn die Kurse an sich und sich die Idee dahinter ist gut.

Big improvement

I have previously submitted a review on here for VAHA - I was very unhappy with the service - it was shockingly poor. Not enough content, no communication and the customers were treated badly. However, I am happy to say that over the last 6 months VAHA have pulled their finger out and actually made vast improvements. There has been regular content and they are much more communicative and willing to listen. I think its important to recognise the changes they've made and reflect it in my rating. Hopefully it will continue, because the product itself is great

AGBs werden nachteilig geändert

AGBs werden nachteilig geändert, man wird um Zustimmunh gebeten. Wenn man nicht zustimmt, läuft der Vertrag klammheimlich weiter. Auf ein Mal kommen auch keine Werbemails mehr, der Zugang funktioniert nicht mehr einwandfrei und Updates auch nicht. Trotzdem wird fleißig abgebucht. Melden sich erst, wenn das Zahlungsmittel abläuft. Hinterher tun sie ganz unschuldig, dabei wanderte das Häkchen auf Zustimmung ganz bestimmt von Geisterhand vor Unternehmensverkauf. Schlechtere Trainer, schlechtes Angebot, schlechter Kundenservice. Nie wieder.

Hände weg!

Ursprünglich war ich mal ein großer Fan des Produktes. Mittlerweile wurde VAHA in das Unternehmen Bioniq eingegliedert.

Seitdem finde ich das mittlerweile vorhandene Angebot lange nicht mehr so attraktiv und umfassend wie es früher einmal war:

Viele der ursprünglichen guten Trainer sind nicht mehr da, alle neuen Yoga-Kurse nur noch auf Englisch, Service zwar freundlich aber langsam in der Reaktion, erzählen immer wieder dieselben Geschichten ohne wirklich ein Problem anzugehen, es gibt keine Servicenummer etc. Kurz: Wenn das Produkt eine Macke hat oder gar defekt ist hilft einem keiner!

Sehr schade denn früher war ich ein großer Fan von VAHA und habe das Produkt oft weiterempfohlen! Heute sage ich: HÄNDE WEG. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt rein gar nicht mehr.

Mein Bekannter konnte damals finanzieren ohne Klarna dreck oder Anzahlung - jetzt hat sich das geändert.

Ein völlig überteuerter Spiegel wo man ZUSÄTZLICH Geld investieren darf in eine Mitgliedschaft. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I actually love my Vaha :-)

I actually love my Vaha, it went through couple of months of changing ownership with some teething problems, but for me it does exactly what I wanted.

The mirror is amazing, like having giant iPhone in front of you and is touch screen. I don't enjoy going to the gym and now I can work out exactly when I want night or day. No travel time or need to change / get ready. I can roll out of bed and do a class 2 minutes later. Also you can work out with every type of weather; which for UK is definitely a bonus.

It is also perfect for people with young children as you can work out at home without having to get childcare. They also do kids and family classes.

Every week lots of new classes are uploaded and you can choose from hiit, weights, yoga, pilates etc etc with a variety of trainers and lengths. You can track your progress and they do several programmes to build up and increase your fitness. It also tracks your heart rate etc with a simple monitor that I actually got included with my membership.

If I ever have any issues; Vaha has replied instantly and been very helpful and also open to suggestions about new classes etc.

Please don't look at just the recent negative feedback as I use this every day and it is definitely making me fitter and I get to try out a lot of classes i wouldn't normally do. For me it is cheaper than a gym membership and a lot more enjoyable.

They have also started a rolling monthly membership after the first year, or you can take a break if away for a long time etc. if you choose to stop after initial contract; you will have access to basic classes on the mirror and they have various social media apps linked too so can access youtube / spotify etc. Enjoy!

Der größte Betrugsverein

Der größte Betrugsverein. Vorsicht vor dem Kauf. Sobald er defekt ist, ist keiner zu erreichen um ihn zu reparieren oder darum sich zu kümmern. Man ist auf sich gestellt. Leider geht es zum Anwalt.

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience. I have been waiting over 2 weeks for their delivery company to collect my return (they sent me the incorrect sized mirror). I have spoken via their live chat numerous times over this period. I either do not receive a response or receive an unhelpful response. I like to believe that I’m a patient and nice person, however this service I have been receiving is really testing me.

I have tried calling their support number, however it directs me to the live chat I have been using. I am now having to waste my time cold emailing random members of the Vaha team and posting on Trustpilot to try and resolve this. The company holds £1000 of my money, which I currently do not know when, or even if, it will be returned.

Prepare to be disappointed in the VAHA

After a lot of research and hoping that The Mirror would come to the UK I decided in April 2021 that I couldn't wait any longer so it was time to buy into the VAHA instead and I purchased a VAHA X. I was looking forward to live classes in a range of different formats that I could do from home so stumped up the £1950 for the VAHA and £39 a month subscription.
It started out ok, there were some teething problems with their 'white gloved' delivery service which was anything but. But once those issues were ironed out it seemed ok. The live classes were tricky as they were at times when I was working so I couldn't get to do them, but as the company was so new, and just getting started, I thought it was ok to wait it out and see how things progressed. It could only get better right? WRONG. It has not gotten any better, it is worse. All I have seen is less and less live classes and less and less pre-recorded classes. The offering never changed, all the ads I saw for boxercise and other interesting exercise classes never came to fruition. I have realised that I have made a mistake buying into this product, certainly now I know they have been 'bought' buy another company called Bioniq who sell nutrition pills. They are not interested in the UK users and only seem to be aimed at other markets. I have cancelled my subscription and now have a very expensive full length mirror that does nothing but require dusting. Think long and hard before you buy this useless VAHA. I wish I had.

Great product

The ease of installation, the content and the level of effort offered by Vaha have had overall very positive influence on my daily routine. I have been training daily and find that the diversity of trainers and courses is just right for me.

Great experience for myself and my…

Great experience for myself and my parents!
I have received my VAHA X in Dubai 3 weeks ago!
I already did several classes mostly kettlebell and HIIT - great content with Jay!
But the most exciting thing was that my 70+ year old mother in law started using Vaha last week during her visit and has been at it twice a day, mostly doing yoga! What a great surprise! Highly recommend it!

Bought my VAHA X in may of 2022.

Bought my VAHA X in may of 2022.
Really enjoy the offering for the entire family - my kids workout with me on the weekends. It’s also a great house party device with its Spotify app and surprisingly good speakers. The only thing missing for a 5 star review would be more build in apps like for example photo albums or an integration with my sonos.

Very poor content

Vaha has veen bought by Bioniq. They are promising new content. Vaha has the potential to be awesome but right now the content is very poor. Not enough fun exercise or really good classes. No zumba, no dance, no kids or family stuff. Lots of content in german. Need content for beginnners and intermediate. Please action asap before you ruin the while concept.

When I first purchased my Vaha

When I first purchased my Vaha, it was fantastic. It worked out of the box, I was able to arrange my PT sessions, there were lots of classes available and I cancelled my Gym membership. The Vaha saved me at least a couple of hours a week of valuable time by not having to travel to the gym. I was a convert. Then the wheels fell off. For whatever reason, and I suspect financial difficulties played a large part of it, bits of the vaha experience started disappearing. Content got less and less , included PT sessions stopped , motion tracking was taken off due to technical difficulties, customer service dried up. If I had written this review at this point , then it would have said "amazing idea, poor execution - One star" I guess fortunately for me I was moving house at this point with a period in storage , so it didn't affect me much, but towards the end last year it came out of storage, at around the time Vaha was bought out by group that had successfully launched another health product. And looking at the first few weeks activity on their part, it seems the future is bright. Lots more content , lots more investment plans and I for one am happy that my Vaha is now , once again, doing what I bought it for - providing me with an aerobic exercise option that I can do having just rolled out of bed, alongside developing my Yoga knowledge. If this changes, I will be sure to edit my review again.

NIGHTMARE!!

NIGHTMARE!!!

I bought this mirror with hopes of treating myself to a healthy like and fitness.

From the day I bought this mirror I haven't had a single workout without constant freezing. I kept messaging and trying to get it sorted but nothing the IT team would say would help. By now a month had gone by and VAHA said I missed my one month window and I have to keep paying my membership.

I moved house and made sure I got WIFI that would be suitable for the Mirror as well as positioning the mirror when it was close. STILL NOTHING. This mirror is a complete loss of money and a pure vision of the worse decision I have ever made.

VAHA HACKED ME!!! When I put in a complaint to Klarna about this product they contacted them. On Monday I received a message saying they would allow me to cancel my membership and when I went to find it, I noticed several emails added as if it were a chain of them offering to help me. This NEVER happened and only appeared after they were contacted by Klarna. I have contacted the police for an investigation.

Why can't anyone resolve this??? I think we have enough evidence of this disaster!

Terrible customer service

Oh my goodness, as a charity we have spent £1000’s only to be let down time and time again by VAHA and now bioniq, we feel so let down by customer service and a mirror we can hardly use.
I cancelled my membership after 12 months of not being able to use it and still the membership fee has come out!!!!!!!

Not worth it

Massively overpriced - £2000 for an unflattering mirror and £39 a month. Absolutely 0 live classes which is the whole reason I bought it. Kids classes have never been available, same sessions on demand over and over again. Boring!
