Shockingly poor customer service
Vaha has been bought out by a supplement company called Bioniq. Vaha/Bioniq have extremely poor customer service and I would urge other potential customers to steer clear. I bought a fitness mirror from Vaha last year that I deeply regret. The product itself was expensive but I was sold on the idea of being able to work out at home, as a busy single mum and as someone who struggles with being in public fitness classes post eating disorder. The initial cost was substantial but I viewed it as an investment in my self, and believed Bioniq/Vaha when they said they would deliver live classes, fun and engaging fitness sessions that I could enjoy at home with my children. The offering soon dwindled, the UK studio was shut, live classes were few and far between and kids classes non existent, all while they continued to charge customers £40 a month membership. This is on top of the initial outlay of nearly £2k for the mirror. When customers raised concerns Vaha/Bioniq fobbed us off time and time again, tell us 'big things were coming!'. Well it seems all that was coming was finding out they are in massive debt and having to refinance. Now all the customers they persuaded to fork out for their mirrors are stuck with the hardware in our houses, with no fitness classes because we've had to cancel our memberships (after losing so much last year it felt crazy to continue to pay for such poor service and lack of content).
I'm so disappointed by this company and feel totally ripped off. I'd love to use my mirror again and make it a worth while purchase but feel I've wasted so much money, and I can't see Vaha/Bioniq doing anything to reimburse customers now. Avoid.
Owner for over 12 months
Owner for over 12 months. At the beginning it was very good. The monthly subscription of £39 seemed good value with a monthly PT session. There was a good selection of Live classes and a varied type of classes. As well as on demand classes Over the past 6 months I feel like I have been massively miss sold as everything started to disappear ie. Kids classes, PT instructor etc.
With everything disappearing the price was staying the same for £39 a month membership, so Iv cancelled mine and now left with a mirror that you can’t use, stay away, it’s not worth it now it’s gone downhill!!
There are no classes available without a subscription so now have a very expensive useless mirror.
Vaha is now a product of bioniq
Waste of money
As a busy mom of 5 I bought vaha mirror, (Vaha is now owned by Bioniq) hoping to save me trips to gym and be able to do live classes from home. Later I found out that without subscription there is nothing to do with the mirror. So I subscribed and hoped to join live classes which never happened because the classes are in the morning (which is the busiest time of my day getting kids ready for school) and then there are no classes all day till about 5 when my kids are back at home again so no chance to use it. So I spent nearly £2000 for mirror and £39 per month for pre recorded videos. I should have sticked with you tube videos which are for free.
Overpriced, underwhelming.
Overpriced, underwhelming experience.
After paying almost £2000 for the mirror itself and then £39 a month for the live classes, I’m very disappointed in the variety, times available and the PT I had was shocking! (As a PT myself, I was not impressed)

Loved the concept of the VAHA Mirror and it was great in the beginning a year ago. Many of the live classes were taken away, then the kids classes then the PT session became an extra and slowly slowly became a very expensive mirror. Recently taken over by Bioniq, who seem to be this is the way now - sorry. Think long and hard before you purchase. Wish I opted for Peloton
Lies, cost and useless service
Pre starting this review, please don’t waste your time copying and pasting your text book response VAHA. Mis-sold this mirror with NO built in features. It’s £1200 for the small mirror which if you don’t subscribe, is a sub standard “entertainment system” which you can play Spotify and youtube on. Good luck getting a personal training lesson when they were available, but now you can’t even get that with a subscription so it’s basically £39 for a dressed up YouTube channel. Poor responses from customer service, come get your mirror VAHA and issue us all with the refund we are entitled too. Fitness farce.
Gone to the Dogs and even lower
I have updated my review to 4 stars from 1 starfor the following reasons but left my original review underneath so it makes sense why i originally wrote the review...
The new owners of Vaha have contacted members and explained the ongoing of the company and want to put it right in ways that make it better than Vaha ever was. In the past 6 weeks loads of content has been added new English instructors and huge variety of different workouts and a forum where you can ask for scertain typrles of training and they will try to get those types onto the mirror. In the past few weeks many more different categories have been added and its now worth the monthly subscription. The reason I have given it 4 stars and not 5 is although alot has changed in the past couple of months its not 100% where it should be but its definatly a great product and getting better. Keep up the good work.
(Old review below)
Purchased this Vaha Mirror over a year ago with great reviews of an upcoming company. You had monthly pt instructor meetings via the mirror many live lessons and numerous lessons that was on a data base. All seemed great for the first month then the online pt trainer didn't show up for my lesson was told it was a glitch and to try another date. Same again never worked. So continued with live lessons and pre recorded lessons for a month or so. From here it turned out to be a disaster. The UK instructors were replaced with German instructors and alot of the sessions were being deleted so less content. Then we was informed they had done away with the monthly instructors private lesson that was included with the £39 monthly fee. Tried to cancel but was told was tied into a yearly contract. For the remaining part of the year it got even worse vaha sold out to Bioniq who started advertising products for us to buy ( like anyone would part with money again to them). Now been sent an email asking what issues I'm unhappy with so replied over a month ago and no reply and no change to Vaha content except more sessions deleted. I have now given up and want to cancel. Guess who's ignoring my emails now?. First email sent said no problem still money comes from my account monthly. Then I message them on their app to ask to cancel noones there to take messages anymore. Send email asking to cancel, I receive a reply saying offices are shut at 5pm and try tomorrow so 3 emails the next day totally blanked. I just want to cancel as the subscription isn't worth the content and for anyone who is still in contract I believe the platform has changed that much you could get out of your contract as it noway near resembles the original VAHA from 15 months ago. Iv now contacted my bank to stop payments and will seek the last 2 months subscriptions they have taken since end of my Co tract when I wanted to cancel. So Vaha now known as Bioniq what ever your doing listen to your customers don't just ask what they want whilst carrying on charging them. Iv asked to cancel with confirmation and you can't even do that so iv had to take it into my own hands.

The vaha mirror is expensive and the service has been shocking. First, the UK studio was closed so all classes are recorded in the German one. This severely affects the times of the live classes, as they are delivered to the German timezone. Actually, this isn't too much of an issue at the moment as there are SO FEW live classes. Basically, I'm paying 39 quid a month and over a grand for a mirror to do recorded classes. The 121 PT session has been removed, as has other functionality. I would love to use the Zoom app on it, but have no way of turning the volume down when in this app, despite asking and being assured someone would come back with an answer.... This was about 12 months ago. The mirror is currently a very expensive coat rack! The company seem to be doing little to rectify. They acknowledge things are good enough - so where is the subscription reduction??? Avoid

I was having really high hopes when I purchased the Vaha mirror: being able to do trainings at home at my own pace and when I can. As a mom to a small child, this was a dream coming true until I got my feet on the ground.
Unfortunately they didn’t stand up to my expectations.
Kids content very basic and not amazing for small kids, however that was for a really short time and after it was totally removed.
Regarding to the recorded classes, I believe we don’t have full access to it.
Apart of paying a high price for the mirror, after you need to pay minimum 39£ monthly to get access to the classes, mostly recorded ones, as live classes became less and less.if you decide to cancel your subscription, you’ll have a very expensive mirror in the house as there is not much you can do with it, not even the existing recorded classes are available.
The customer service is a joke, I paid full amount for the product and after receiving a damaged one, I had to wait another 3 weeks to get a new one as no one can do anything regarding this. Appaling services !
I wouldn’t recommend buying this mirror.
If you want to buy this mirror, please first have a look at Vaha owners opinions before doing it and decide if it’s worth it!

I've been a mirror owner for 15 months now. I have had very little interaction since my first appointment with a PT. I had no follow up and classes are like rocking horse doo-doo
If you buy it, you are buying an expensive mirror with no functions.
Even now Bioniq own them, nothing has changed. It's just crap. I'm doing a credit card charge back as I was mis sold.

Very poor they Miss sell you the product you can’t use the anything built in unless you pay monthly subscription costumer service hound you for money if you do cancel it saying it’s part of the contract you have to pay every single month ! Vaha is a bioniq product it’s useless just a mirror bascailly ! For the price you pay for the mirror you would expect some basic built in

Avoid at all costs
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! For me it was a toss up between the mirror or a peloton bike, I fell for the hype of the mirror BIG mistake! Once they have your money they don’t want to know. End the subscription and no free content so all you have is a very expensive mirror. Biggest con of all time.

An extremely expensive mirror
An extremely expensive mirror.
I purchased the VAHA last year. I am so disappointed with the classes available and the quality of the mirror. It disconects from my WiFi whilst on the middle of a workout, (there is nothing wrong with my wifi the vaha is the only thing that disconnects from it) it turns itself on randomly in the middle of the night at full volume which terrifies my parter, my cats and me. I just leave it unplugged now.
I just want someone from vaha to collect it and give me at least a partial refund so I can pay it off on klarna.
I just feel so embarrassed and stupid for falling for the hype.

It is a fraud! Stay away!
I am so disappointed! We have purchased the mirror a year ago and we have seen a serious decline in the quality of content to the point of not getting any new content at all in weeks. This is a fraud! I am now left with a very expansive mirror that has no purpose!

Purchase the mirror last year
Purchase the mirror last year, great sales pitch, interesting concept, but the actual contents are very poor and not delivered well. I won’t recommend this unless the company really step up and provide better contents and make it useable - the current model which requires an expensive subscription is prone to fail as everyone’s expectation is much higher than what they can deliver… sad and it’s an expensive gadget with no use (I cancelled my subscription after 2nd month!)

Don’t get suckered in, STAY AWAY!
Although the concept is brilliant the actual reality of the VAHA mirror falls way short! In the beginning it was amazing, this is probably where the good reviews come from BUT they have declined dramatically. The user experience is shockingly poor, from very few live classes that can be reasonably used by anyone in the UK, to PT classes now being an optimal extra this is not what I signed up to! This is not the experience that I agreed to when I agreed to pay for that very expensive mirror and without the £39 subscription that is all it is, a very very expensive mirror!! Without the subscription, which is definitely not worth £39 a month, this piece of kit is just a mirror! VAHA you have failed this community and you had a chance to be brilliant. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am!! Just another one suckerd in by some good marketing! Also I would like to point out that VAHA are now a part of Bioniq which is a health and wellness brand itself. Since taking over all they have done is send me a 'discount offer' for their supplements. As of yet they have done absolutely nothing with regard to their many unhappy customers.

Well where do i start
Well where do i start. I have had a terrible experience with vaha all very good in the beginning but overtime classes have decreased or been taken off, classes have not been replaced, ownership was taken over and us members were not informed until way after the fact. I was able to request a call with bioniq the new owners of vaha however as i was ill that day i was requested to fill in a feedback form. I have heard nothing. I emailed as a follow up again i heard nothing. if you dont have a vaha membership thw mirror can be used for spotofy and such but relatively reduntant given we all have phones, google homes, alexas etc which do this anyway. I want rid of my now very expensive mirror as i have now cancelled my membership.

Brilliant sales pitch and a great idea and product on the surface. But I have been totally mis sold a very expensive mirror! The live content and pj's that it was sold with quickly diminished and disappeared altogether.
A very expensive monthly fee we are now stuck with!
