De eerlijkheid gebiedt me te zeggen dat ik een driedaags avontuur bij Wim Motors Academy met meer plezier heb afgesloten dan ik eraan begon. Dat verdient een uitlegje. Ik vind namelijk op de weg rijden al spannend, hoeveel spannender moest offroad rijden dan niet zijn? Steile afdalingen, steile beklimmingen, bochten door los zand, over kiezels, keien, door kreekjes vol water... Ai.
Maar dankzij enkele uren training op de eerste dag, verzorgd door Wim de Cramer, ben ik de tweede dag met een stuk meer zelfvertrouwen op pad gegaan. 90 kilometer door de binnenlanden van Portugal; het was prachtig. Een schuiver aan het slot veranderde daar niet genoeg aan om op dag drie niet weer een tour bij de horens te vatten. 115 kilometer nu. Met twee vrienden onderweg. Het was heerlijk.
Ik ga graag nog eens, zeker ook vanwege de goede zorgen van Wim, Clint, Ruth en de crew.

The addition of digital road books and GPS navigation systems really shows how these guys are at the forefront of Rally/ Enduro riding. Husqvarna owe these guys big! They make a great bike even better and have single handily ensured Husqvarna will sell 5 extra FE450 this year. Such a warm family welcome and support that makes you feel like your part of a professional racing team, these guys know what they’re doing! If you haven’t been and not sure where to go…. Speak to these guys and they’ll ensure you have the best time!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ride Off Road Scotland (RORS) Review of Wim Motors Academy (WMA)
Title: The Ultimate Overseas Partner for RORS Training and Tours!
We recently completed a truly fantastic overseas tour in partnership with the Wim Motors Academy (WMA), and the experience was nothing short of brilliant.
WMA provided the perfect location, support, and environment to fulfill the ultimate ambition for our riders, sharing a part of the Dakar Rally dream with an inspiring group. The facility and dedication shown by the WMA team are world-class, making it the ideal base for serious adventure riding and training.
For all RORS riders: This successful trip is proof of the incredible journey possible through our training program—from 1-to-1 sessions to group preparation, leading directly to high-level overseas adventures.
We look forward to many more collaborations with WMA! Our next joint opportunity is the October 16th – 23rd trip, combining spectating at the FIM ISDE in Grandola with four days of riding right here at WMA!

A warm welcoming family-run business. The bikes were in excellent condition and we started our trip with 1/2 day on their motocross track as it had been a while since I had been on a dirt bike. This allowed progression through the various levels before moving onto the trails in the subsequent days. Safety is paramount and they have a good tracking system that also helps if you become geographically challenged. They are all very helpful and nothing is to much bother. Will definitely be returning.
