Very poor service

I went in 30 minutes from closing and was told "we're closing in just a bit so do you know what you want"

It was like they were trying to push me out of the store. I felt like they looked at me and assumed I was just there to waste time - far from the truth. I'll never be going in to this store again.

The Jacket sent is fine but they delivered it in just a plastic bag. One layer of not very thick plastic. It’s an expensive foam filled lightweight jacket that could have easily been damaged. Not suitable packaging for such an item.

We went to Blacks shop in North St Brighton today and were politely met by Jude as my wife wanted to get some new hiking boots. Benn took over as Jude went to lunch and he was extremely helpful and a very knowledgable young guy and we were super grateful for his assistance. Thanks Benn.

I popped in-store on a whim after seeing a pair of trail shoes discounted online. The new store looks great, and I found the staff very friendly and informative, Jude in particular. Although I didn’t intend on buying anything when I walked in, the service was so exceptional I decided to make a purchase. Rare to find this level of enthusiasm and product knowledge in-store. Blacks is a wonderful place to shop. For outdoor clothing in one place it's ideal .
I'm going to Spain for the Camino Pilgrimage walk in April and have got much of what I need from Blacks.

When I bought my waterproof jacket, there was simply too much choice and I have had bad experiences with spending a lot of money on jackets that do not live up to their claims! Jude was a fantastic member of staff who was knowledgeable and helpful. I’d highly recommend Blacks Brighton.
