Went into the blacks in hull for my backpack. Not going to lie the backpacks are a bit more expensive but they last me a longer time and have excellent support for my back. The staff are lovely as always and told me about all the deals and seemed happy to work their

Excellent service that went the extra mile and more
The staff member who served me was good. She deserves five stars for helpfulness.
The only reason I have given four stars is because the stock at the branch is limited by size.
Catherine, who served me, went to endless trouble to try to help me find walking shoes. I needed these for day to day wear due to some mobility issues. She quickly grasped my need to have stable, well-fitted footwear but that also could be worn with non-sportswear clothes for everyday. She went to trouble trying to find shoes to fit my difficult feet and really cared that I got something I d be happy with. Then she made sure the ordered item would be delivered at my convenience. She was polite, kind and patient and very helpful.

Black's Jameson Street Hull.
I went into Black's in.Hull as I needed a longer warm water resistant coat. I am disabled and use a scooter so needed help to find one. Cath looked for me and brought me exactly what I needed. I stood up out of my scooter to try it on but could not bend down enough to faster the zip. She immediately helped me fasten it up then looked after my scooter so I could go look in the mirror. She went above and beyond and I think she needs recognising for helping me. It can be very difficult getting round shops and a little bit of help makes all the difference.

The assistant Sophie was very helpful, she explained the differences between the two pairs of walking shoes I was considering buying. She was patient, allowing me to try both pairs a couple of times to be certain of making sure the right choice.

Excellent customer support
It’s was my third time buying there. This time, I was buying for my trip for winter hiking, and needed from Hat to Boots. All the staffs were really helpful especially EEhan who gave me many good suggestions on technicalities and brands I’m not familiar with.
Overall, would definitely recommend to buy from this shop if you’re not familiar with the gadgets, rather than shopping online.
