We called into the store on Saturday and spoke with a very helpful young man regarding a jacket for my husband.
We were undecided and he assured us the jacket was new in so no worries about it being sold out.
We went in again on Monday to check the size was right as l had been on line and had a 10% discount code from Blacks for a first online order.We spoke with Sheila and while my husband was trying on the jacket she spoke to her manager Scott who said he would honour the discount.
We have shopped in Blacks in Meadowhall before and have always been delighted with the staff and the quality of the items we have bought.
Well done.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially Rhyas who was very knowledgeable about shoes and sizing. He really helped me pick the right boots that I needed. Thank you very much

Called into Blacks to buy a pair of walking shoes. I was greeted by Kasper who was very friendly & knowledgeable about what I wanted. Nothing was too much trouble as I couldn’t make my mind up but the advice he gave me was spot on. Im very happy with my purchase.

Alex helped me choose some new work boots. He’s very knowledgeable about the different brands, and he goes through the individual feature’s of them, but most importantly he finds out what you actually need from the product to help you find the right ones for you own requirements rather than just dive straight in to selling any to you. Very happy with my purchase, and the service, knowledge and shopping experience was 10/10!

Went into Blacks at Meadowhall as I was looking for new boots always a time I don’t like as working through the options is a nightmare. Dropped luckily on Alex who was polite knowledgable and he helped me pick the correct boots. No hard sell just good advice and inside knowledge. Can’t recommend him enough

Planned a trip to Iceland and Alex assisted me in finding the right hiking shoes. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. I hate shopping in general and have no clue about hiking shoes but it was nice to have a good experience. Alex was patient and I didn’t feel rushed. Absolute star!

Always a pleasure to go in the shop the staff are always helpful and friendly a special mention to Lisa for helping me with a Gilet I was buying. She reassured me which size to go for.. it’s so refreshing to find such good customer service.

Excellent service from Peter and Olivia at Blacks today. I went in looking for a pair of waterproof outdoor trainers and Peter couldn’t have been more helpful. I must have tried on seven different pairs, and he was incredibly patient, bringing out numerous options and taking the time to explain the differences between them, including hydrostatic heads and the different levels of waterproofing. He was knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely seemed to want to make sure I left with the right pair rather than simply making a sale. Olivia was also really friendly and helpful throughout. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and we left with exactly what we needed and a really positive impression of the store. Great customer service from both of them — thank you!

Scott & Malin really took time to answer all my questions and provide great insight to what would be the best product for me, without any hard sell. Even comparing products they didn't carry to see if they might be a better option.

Kasper did a great job helping me pick out the right shoes for my next mountaineering trip. Kasper helped me with specialized knowledge and an objective view on the shoes.
