Last year I bought KLIM clothing, jacket + pants (Badlands Pro A3), KLIM Krios Pro helmet and KLIM Baja S4 gloves.
For a start I had a major issue with the jacket, that KLIM didn't accepted as an issue and said that it's normal. Swedish dealer was shaking their heads but no one could do anything.
Further more: On the clothes is a sign that says that KLIM USA will replace the clothes within the first 5 years if you have an accident and destroy your equipment. However, it requires a police report if they are to consider the compensation. Unfortunately I had an accident last month where my jacket and helmet were destroyed (price 3.400,- US$ in Europe). In Denmark, the police do not make a police report unless there are either other drivers involved or there is significant personal injury. I don't have a police report, but think that I instead attach an Official Journal from the emergency room of 2 broken ribs, as well as a claim from my insurance company, which is clear proof of a legitimate motorcycle accident. KLIM replies back that they cannot use my enclosed official documents, but MUST use a police report.
I try to explain to KLIM that it is not possible to get a police report because of Danish Police rules, but I have 2 other official documents that can verify my accident.
KLIM nevertheless rejects due to their rules and replies "As unfortunately anticipated, we will not be able to accept the claim without the police report."
Never before have I experienced such a rigid attitude.
EVERYTHING is possible, for those who want it to work!
KLIM chooses to keep a rigid rule, for the sake of the rule, which surprises me very much, as such a large company should be able to work with common sense, and see the point of approving other official documents, when this situation makes it impossible to do anything else.
So my review is: KLIM clothes middle range - if you are lucky, to get a peace of items that's without errors , you just hope not to get any trouble where costumer service have to "help". Further more the company morale is really low! No sence for service at all!
Disappointing!!
So for European bikes - DO NOT buy KLIM gear if you hope to get any help to restore your damaged items, or to have help fro costumer "service".
