Excellent experience

Excellent experience. Kristen was phenomenal. Supportive and provided clear information and helped answer any questions that came up during the process. I was very apprehensive going into this and very incredibly fortunate to have connected with her as my advisor. Would absolutely recommend her to friends or family looking for guidance.

Excellent Experience

I had a great experience working with…

I had a great experience working with Abdul Kavi. He was professional, fast, and very effective throughout the entire process.

I was going through a difficult time managing my debt and was really struggling to keep up with repayments. Initially, I was skeptical and even thought the call might be a scam. However, after verifying everything directly with the company, I felt reassured and confident moving forward.

Abdul Kavi supported me every step of the way, especially with the paperwork, and made the process much smoother than I expected. His quick action and dedication truly made a difference.

I strongly appreciate his efforts and would rate him 10/10. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough good things about…

I can’t say enough good things about Zach and his team. From the very beginning, they made me feel supported and at ease during what could have been a very stressful process.
They were always patient, professional, and quick to respond whenever I had questions. You can really tell they care about their clients and go above and beyond to help.

I want to, but I can't recommend

I’ve held off on writing this review for a number of months, as I was hoping to feel improvement but I’m now confident in my ratings. Wanted to give it 3 stars, but I feel compelled to give it 2 stars.

The good:
Having a 3rd party advocate for you to an LIT for a consumer proposal is definitely the best decision to make. If I had gone with the LIT, they were going to argue for a much higher monthly payment. The person I worked with did save me a massive 170/month for what got approved vs. what the LIT were arguing for. This was a great result and when they were present to fight for me, they did a good job. If I was to base my rating on this alone, I would have provided a 5/5, but that’s where the not so good comes in.

The Not So Good:
Part of the reason to go with a 3rd party like 4Pillars is that you don’t only get the CP help, you also get the post-consumer proposal "Financial Wellness" help with rebuilding your credit to an “ok” score. This is why I went with 4Pillars, and over a year out from the CP being signed and accepted, I have not yet had any support with them fulfilling their brand promise/contract with this aspect of their business (and that’s not without me trying). This brings me back to the main reason why the rating is so low, the person who I was assigned and had been working with.

The person I worked with is friendly, and did help a lot with arguing for my proposal. One of the biggest issues I had (and continue to experience) is massive struggles with getting in touch with them. At the start of going through this process, it was very hit and miss. It took many months to even try and get the CP off the ground (and things continued to mount up). Then as we were getting close, a curve ball was thrown and I was laid off after 11 years due to business financials. While this worked in my favour for significantly lowering my monthly rate arguments, it basically started the process over again. Between trying to get ahold of them, having to eventually restart, and them struggling(?) to get an LIT to work on my case, the entire process took around 9 or more months from initial reachout to getting an LIT to fiie (which also factors in I had to send in another request to the website to see if there was anyone who was working on my case since I could never get ahold of the person who was assigned to me). I eventually found a new stable job.

There were a number of times I sent texts with questions that went unanswered, and a few times where I had meetings scheduled with my rep and they no-showed without any follow up or heads up. I reached out and confirmed with them back in November (after not hearing from them for 6 months, no check in to see where things stand etc...) that my current position is stable and wanted to begin discussion/assistance with the aftercare (since the person never reached out to find out where things stood or if I wanted to start the process). They scheduled a meeting with me, on a weekend no less, and no-showed. No follow up text or communication either to apologize or an attempt to reschedule. I didn’t bother to follow up for a few months after that because this entire process has been frustrating. I followed up recently via text asking when they were available to connect and discuss how to help rebuild my credit. The text was seen immediately this time (most times they remain delivered and unseen), and as I type this it still has not been acknowledged.

Final thoughts:
For me, I don’t consider what I signed up for as fully complete. I only received half of what I paid for. The results of the half I did receive (getting as low as possible monthly payback, which is the bigger of the outcomes) was great. How we got there? Really bad. Getting the post-help “Financial Wellness” that was listed in the contract I paid for and was sold on, non-existent.

I had a friend who referred me as they went through 4P for their proposal. Our experiences, night and day. I would love to be giving an emphatic 5/5. But even 3/5 at this point doesn’t feel warranted. Factoring all the above, it has dropped things down to a 2/5. I definitely recommend whole-heartedly going with a 3rd party to help fight for you, since going with the LIT directly will argue you pay more (given they get paid based on how much they can agree with creditors). I got my money's worth in that, but can’t recommend 4P based on my experience and with the entire journey/lack of after care and contract fulfillment factored in.

Edit:
I laid out a pretty lengthy detailed experience, and their “effort” is a copy and paste reply. Speaks for itself, doesn’t it? I’m a manager in customer service overseeing things like this. This kind of copy/paste reply (clearly not reading any of it) is exactly how not to train your support staff. The only thing more lazy is no reply at all. Based on their effort, why would I waste more time? What an embarrassment.

As soon as they have your money, they drop you

I signed the agreement on Nov 4, 2025. Its been over 4 months and not a single word from them. I have tried contacting them (Lethbridge, where I dealt with everything) for 3+ weeks now, and its like talking to the wind. Email, calls, SMS, their webform... Nothing. From my online hunt, Im getting the impression that perhaps theyve changed staff, but surely you would think they would communicate this in a handover email or SOMETHING? Grossly disgusted. Ive got better things to waste $195/m on. But hey, they got paid, why would they care? Im contemplating disputing the loan for services unrendered.

No excuses - the delay in you receiving the services you are paying for is not acceptable, and hopefully, we are now well on our way to rectifying this. He is very professional and respectful, and the other staff members in the office are also accommodating and responsive when it comes to appointments and inquiries.

We are very grateful for the assistance we received. Of course, we hope that we will not need to go through this process again in the future. However, we will certainly and highly recommend 4Pillars to anyone who may need financial help. Thank you very much for your support.

Great experience

I know this company thru friends and family referrals. It was good that i decided to come and my debt help me to rebuild my credit. I was so grateful that all my stress was done and now i can start my life again free from stress of debt. They were so sincere to help and very detailed on everything. Wonderful Experience

Abdul was attentive and patient t and explained all.my options to me. I had been in contact with a different company that had been lacking in their communication. Abdul had all my documents ts and meeting organized within the first 24 hours our i itially speaking. He guided. W through the process with explanations at every step, helpful advice and a genuine concern thatbi succeed in the debt relief process. I had my meeting this morning, things went wonderfully, and I received before and after calls from Abdul to ensure I was prepared and to make sure this gs went well.
