The same incidents that happened to Aimee Lyon also happened to me with this Marcel Fernandes guy. I'd paid for 10hours, been a busy person i couldn't attend the last 2hours of the 10hours so I called to please move it, only for him to say I'll pay if he turns up, that my previous payment package has elapsed, despite pleading and pleading, he still insisted. I didn't complain, later on that week, I texted him to see if we could get on with another package and to book a test date, since I've driven with him and he should know how long more it'll take me to book a test date, Marcel didn't pick and didn't respond. If you don't what to continue with me, is ignoring my messages and calls the best way to go about it? Coupled with he's always fast when speaking, I've talked and talked and talked about him speaking very fast when teaching but he just does his things. Infact, he's not it

Hi Gerald,
Marcel has advised that you paid for a 10 hour block booking and cancelled 2 two hour sessions within the 48 hour cancellation policy. As a gesture of goodwill, Marcel only charged you for 2. Marcel advised that due to your block booking ending, you would need to pay by 12pm otherwise he would assume you are no longer looking for lessons.
Having looked at the correspondence between yourself and Marcel, we can see that he advised to book a driving test but he will not be able to help get a closer date than what is on the government website.
No payment or response to Marcel was received, therefore you were removed from his diary. We are extremely busy and the instructors can't sit and wait for customers who do not respond in a timely manner.
Marcel has further advised us that the terms and conditions were signed so technically there would be £140.00 outstanding. As above, he was happy to split this. If you wish to speak to Marcel then we would suggest you stop calling him as he will be teaching and send a text as advised already by the instructor.
We apologise you are unhappy, and we wish you all the best in the future.
Brilliant driving instructor
My instructor was Paul Barwick, I couldn’t ask for a better instructor. He was very calm and encouraging, always gave me great guidance. I would always recommend him.

My instructor Matt was very helpful and nice. I switched from another instructor to him and saw a huge difference in the way I drive. Helped me a lot especially with parking and other things I wasn’t 100% sure on. Wouldn’t recommend him enough!

Driving lessons with Spencer Hopkins
I did manual driving lessons with Spencer and he made every lesson enjoyable from the start, from the very first lesson he made me feel comfortable and at ease if I made any mistakes, he helped me learn a lot and I would not be the driver I am now without him, he’s a great guy and an amazing instructor, the way he taught me made the experience much more enjoyable and his personality was one I knew I could get on with from the start, he was always understanding when I made any mistakes and always took his time to help me correct them, he never ever once raised his voice or got angry with me which I feel like is a big thing you need with a instructor as his patience with me was all I could have asked for in the stressful moments I come across while learning. 10/10 driving instructor and will recommend him to anyone in future I come across looking to do manual lessons.

Driving lessons with Andy Stapleton-Black
I had a great experience learning to drive with Andy. From the very first lesson I felt comfortable and at ease. Andy’s both a great guy and an even better driving instructor. His cool, laid back nature made the process of learning to drive an enjoyable one and his fun, witty nature made me look forward to each lesson. He was always calm and understanding if/when I made a silly mistake and never once even raised his voice. I couldn’t recommend Andy enough.

My instructor Zane was an excellent teacher. An expert at teaching people how to drive. His method allowed me to pass my practical exam first time. I highly recommend him as an instructor for anyone.

First Time Pass! (Thank you, Parminder)
Thanks to my instructor, Parminder, I have passed my driving test on my first attempt (with only 4 minors)! His clear guidance and encouragement helped me each lesson, even being very patient when I got anxious, and now I am much more confident with my driving! I would happily recommend him to anybody looking to drive, it's really been phenomenal!

The best driving lesson..
I had an amazing experience over the past four or five months taking driving lessons with Matt. I learned a lot and received all the necessary details to pass my driving test.
Today, I completed my test and, as expected, I passed! Before the test, I took two additional lessons that boosted my confidence and helped me do my best.

I passed my driving test today!😊
I met Zane two weeks before my driving test. It was my 3rd attempt after failing twice, one at London belvedere and second at Gillingham. Zane pointed out some salient things that I wasn't aware of in my previous lessons. He is calm and knows how to bring out the best in his students. He helped me build my confidence.
I had few lessons with him and learnt much in those few days.
Every learner driver needs someone like Zane.

Unprofessional instructor canceled my…
Unprofessional instructor canceled my lessons after I asked for him to make up for time he was late (35 minutes) it was a 2 hour lesson the lateness consistently occurred each lesson 10 - 15 minutes late on average he also asked for a deposit at the beginning of my lessons which I have yet to be given back he was also quite sketchy with payment and was cash only his name is Damien and I got in contact him from the Gillingham A class branch.

Hi Aimee, I do apologise you are not satisfied with your experience with Damion.
He advised us that you requested your money back at 10pm on the 21st March, he was not working at 10pm so therefore wasn't able to respond immediately to your texts. The reminder you sent at midnight was also missed as again, he is not working.
In regards to the missed lesson time, Damion disputes this as he would always make the time up given the opportunity, depending on the multiple pick up and drop off points, I.E shopping centres, college and friends houses at short notice.
Damion will ensure your deposit is ready to collect from the office on Monday.

My driving instructor was Paul Barwick .. I have anxiety and hadn't driven in over 20 years so was VERY nervous about getting in a car again... was apprehensive about studying for the Theory Test and "sitting" an exam... but this guy, this PATIENT guy not only encouraged and helped me through... he also, when I needed it, pushed and convinced me that I could do it and that I was more than capable of passing....
Today I did ... and it really is down to him that I did that.

I just passed today, and it's all down to Paul Warwick. He was always patient and never put me under pressure, he went out of his way to teach driving skills and make sure I understood them in a chilled relaxed and extremely enjoyable atmosphere.
