The Best salon experience of my life

I honestly can’t recommend A-List Hair enough. Yesterday was my mother’s wedding, and she had her hair done by Ines — and when I say she looked like a real-life Disney princess, I truly mean it. She was absolutely glowing.

From start to finish, the customer service was exceptional. What really stood out was the level of care and attention to detail. My mum had bought her hair from them a few days earlier, and not only did they remember her — they remembered the exact occasion and surprised her with flowers on her wedding day. That small gesture meant everything and made the whole experience even more special.

It wasn’t just about the hair (which was flawless), it was about how they made her feel — valued, celebrated, and beautiful on such an important day. It truly made her day unforgettable.

I’ve personally been a customer for 7–8 years, and experiences like this are exactly why I keep coming back. 10/10 service, every single time. Highly recommend!

A-List are the best for hair!

I visited yesterday for the first time for a wig . This was after seeing reviews and Facebook postings by the founder, and also after looking at Trust Pilot of course. The whole point of wearing a wig is that it is not it is not immediately noticeable to be a wig . There are such real stresses around hair loss, particularly in women . I had considerable hair loss and was wearing a partial wig . To go to a full head and for it to be glueless was a game changer .

Having picked out my style and tried it on in the store I could not be any happier . The wig was installled ( which sound more heavy duty than it is!) but it meant that it was styled and they were happy that you could attach and remove it with ease .

The front lace blended in instantly with my skin tone . No helmet look 🙈. Tkeyha was my stylist who was excellent . I left walking on air.

Their prices are not low, but I can honestly say worth every penny .

I would love to have met Antonia the founder just to let her know how happy I was, but she comes into the store on Tuesdays normally . Anyway here’s to you Antonia for having the brilliant concept of A-list hair . Xx

Quality and fitting issue

I used to go to A list regularly before covid and that was when the owner was visible. In 2024 I went back and the wig I bought and had fitted looked fine when I left the salon but within a week I realised the quality of the hair was awful. I said nothing as didn't want the headche. In 2025 I went back again and the senior stylist who did my fitting I sensed hates her job and comes across as very miserable. Initially when I left the wig looked okay but the next day is when I noticed the lace was bleached orange and the ear flaps had been butchered and did not sit flat but kept sticking up so I had to glue them down. Also so much lace was showing it did not look like a natural hairline but a terrible fitting r
This time I went back a few weeks later and explained the appaling fitting and bleaching of the knots and I was not accepting it. Initially the ladies I spoke to were reluctant to accept the wig did not sit right but I stood my ground either an exchange or a refund. The ladies were respectful and eventually admitted the error made and also said those particular wigs they had some issues with the distributor and how the wig sits had been raised by others and I was not the only one that had reported this. Nevertheless how do you explain the colour of the bleached knots as orange on a dark skin tone. The owner has spent years building her brand but quality of the wigs and stylists have deteriorated. It made me think whether this is why the wig was in the sale. . I hope the owner takes these feedbacks on board. I may go back but need a professional friendly stylist who will not butcher the wig and have all the lace showing at the front.

Great Hair Studio

I’ve been a client at A List Hair Studio for quite some time and usually have the glue procedure. Recently, Abi looked after my hair and she was fantastic — she took her time, the results were perfect, and the style lasted around 3½ weeks. All the stylists are brilliant, but Abi really stood out. I left feeling great and looking great. Highly recommend A List Hair Studio.

Had a terrible experience

I went online to purchase a wig online but what I wanted was sold out, so I emailed to find out if they will be recieving the wig back in stock to which said they didn’t know and suggested I purchase a custom wig which will take several weeks to arrive, so I paid for the wig and paid to have it fitted in store

I also sent several pictures of the style I wanted at no point did they say they couldn’t cut the hair the length that I wanted until 4 weeks later when I had already paid for the wig

When I sent the picture again as it seems there was different people messaging me so I then called to ask why they couldn’t cut it and that I wasn’t told this when It was suggested that I buy a custom wig so they said when I come in they will see what they can do.

When the time came I went into the store bearing mind this is my first time buying from this company and my first visit, I got there early my appointment was at 11 and they opened at 11 in my option they should open before an appointment to set up but no I had to wait for them to sort themselves out

The energy was soo off, the staff wasn’t friendly at all and I can say I’ve never felt like this before in any salon, the girl that was going to be doing my hair didn’t seem happy at all which made me feel even more uncomfortable

Anyway the custom wig was given to stylist and I explained the style I wanted and she said she is not sure it can be cut that short to which I didn’t understand why because I’ve had a pixie wig before( from elsewhere that was custom)

Anyway as she put the wig on my head I felt it didn’t fit me at all so I mentioned this to the stylist to which she said it was a standard wig size, so I said this is meant to a custom wig meaning it cutomised to fix my head then she said you would’ve had to give the head measurements but I wasn’t asked to give it when I purchased the wig at that point I just knew I was going to leave unhappy

So she goes ahead with wig on my head and starts cutting and I can just tell it wasn’t going to work and I was getting more and more upset and told her it’s not working as the size of the wig is way to big and it was bulking at the back

After much back and forth they tried to doctor the wig to make it fit and nothing was working, I’ve never felt so upset doing my hair that I had tears in my eyes because I’m also suffering hair lost so I’ve been so stressed about that so to come here and to be made to feel like I was asking for the most left me feeling so emotional in the end I had to get another wig and not the style I came in for, the stylist did make the 2nd wig look nice but after only a few wears…..

The wig I have is shedding, the front is balding that I can’t even wear it so now I’m back to wearing a head scarf to hide my hair lost :-(

So much money to spent

The customer service was terrible and I will never go there again

We would like to respectfully clarify a few points while acknowledging your feelings.

Regarding the custom wig, our team did explain that custom units differ from ready-to-wear stock and require specific measurements to tailor the cap size. Unfortunately, measurements were not provided at the point of order, which meant the unit was produced in a standard custom cap. We appreciate that this was disappointing, and we regret that this expectation was not clearer earlier in the process.

In relation to styling, pixie cuts and very short styles depend heavily on cap fit, density, and construction. While our stylists always do their best to accommodate reference images, there are occasions where a style cannot be safely achieved without compromising the integrity of the unit. This is why our stylist advised caution and attempted adjustments on the day.

We are also sorry that the atmosphere did not feel welcoming to you. This is concerning to us, as client care is central to our values. Our studio does provide complimentary refreshments, including bottled water, hot drinks, and snacks throughout the day, but we understand that when someone already feels uncomfortable, these details may go unnoticed.

The short delay at opening was due to another consultation running over, which we always try to manage sensitively, but we accept that waiting can feel frustrating, particularly for a first visit.

We are pleased that the second unit was styled to your satisfaction initially, but we are very concerned to hear about the subsequent shedding and balding you described. This is not typical of our units, and we would have welcomed the opportunity to assess the wig and support you further had we been contacted directly.

Deborah, we truly regret that your experience left you feeling unheard and upset. That is never our intention. We would still like the opportunity to review this matter properly and see how we can assist you, even if you have decided not to return.

As soon as I walked into the salon, I was made to feel comfortable by all the stylists.

I had my wig styled by Giselle and the hair that I left with was the best that I have ever had styled. The attention to detail, the care taken with the heat on my wig and the time taken to melt my lace was hugely appreciated. I arrived late because of train delays…

I arrived late because of train delays also travelling from Essex is not an easy journey, but A-List Lace Hair consultant Asher was so welcoming and understanding and made me feel so comfortable because it was my first time purchasing a lace wig. She redid my measurements that I had previously done and corrected for me, she also showed me the lace wig I ordered what it would look like from a sample in stock, it made me feel more at ease with how it felt and looked on me.
I found Asher to be very Professional and trusting with the time I was there and will definitely be coming back again because of such good customer service so far. Can’t wait to be fitted when my lace wig arrives.

I am so frustrated with this company

I am so frustrated with this company. I cancelled an order at the very moment I accidentally placed the order. The next day I was informed that my refund should be returned within 5-7 days. After several weeks and numerous emails and telephone calls I am still waiting for my refund. My refund was promised within 24 hours after a number of phone calls two weeks later I am still waiting. I contacted the company again today and was assured that I would receive the refund by the end of the day.
Still no refund. I have been very patient and polite but my patience is running low.

Not what it seems !

Unfortunately it was such a flop travelling all the way to which was supposed to be a great service from what you can see on Instagram🥴
She didn't even trim my wig properly.It's now botched. And knots not dyed properly 😒
On top of that , the staff that were so rude , not even a greeting just "have you booked an appointment, nothing but eyes rolling, nasty attitude, literally no professionalism , from the stylest.
I'm sure the stylest plucked some of my own hair😒.
Very unnecessary. I won't be returning !
Such a shame , because i've been meaning to come to this place for ages
don't respond to my experience. (Because you know exactly how you behaved)

I bought one of these wigs, what can I said it’s the best wig I have ever bought. The wig came so quickly and it’s absolutely beautiful I love it. Definitely going to make another purchase soon. Only downside for the price I expected to get a bonnet with my purchase.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS COMPANY AND WIGS

Brought my 2nd wig and very happy on both occasions. The Halima wig is amazingly natural looking and good quality. The first one lasted a year and a half and probably would have last longer if I took more care of it. The 2nd one purchased on my recent visit 3rd September when I flew over to London and the customer service and fitting etc was exceptional. I would highly recommend A List Lace Hair. The staff are friendly and polite and very accommodating esp if you have alopecia as I do.
I will always be shopping with them.May the continue to grow and not lose their special touch with customers. Thanks also to my stylist T.
