Service was exceptional
Service was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. Delivery was next day and installation was at the time given and professionally undertaken. I would highly recommend to family and friends.

Great service
Burton upon Trent store, great friendly staff with excellent knowledge of the items they are selling. We spent too much time testing the rise recline chairs to make sure we bought the right one with the help of the staff we came to the decision of buying a his and hers chair. Compared to another local store this store excels
I would highly recommend this store.
The delivery team were also great taking care bringing in the chairs into our home, assembling and testing the chairs. They were polite and arrived on time.

Julie in the Burton shop was so nice
Julie in the Burton shop was so nice. She was welcoming, friendly and not at all pushy. We had been to try other rise and recline chairs but no one gave us as much information and helped us get the right fit and style of chair. Because of this we ordered two chairs. We were kept informed if when they arrived in and got the delivery day of our choice. The delivery people were really great. They delivered with care and set the chairs up and tested them for us and made sure we were happy with everything. I am happy to recommend Ableworld and will use them again.

Very friendly and helpful staff
We originally called at the shop to look at riser/recliner chairs. We were greeted by Andrea and Julie who were very helpful and soon had us trying out several chairs. We settled on the ideal chair for my wifes needs. Whilst we were there my wife decided to try out mobility scooters, the ladies were again very helpful and my wife soon decided on one perfect for her.
I can highly recommend the shop, service and friendly staff, who made us feel very welcome. Thank you.

Great experience in purchasing a mobility scooter.
I had never had the need for a mobility scooter and knew nothing about them.
As soon as we walked into the Burton store, which was very clean and tidy, Andrea asked us if we needed any help. We asked her about scooters that folded to fit into our car boot. Andrea explained clearly to us our options and explained about how fast, how far these scooters could go. She was very informative and not at all pushy (which we liked). Andrea, after letting me sit on the scooter and go a little way on it, to test drive, left us alone to discuss it privately between me and my husband. After considering the price, the scooter and where it would alter my life and enable me to go out more, our mind was made up. Listening to Andrea, I was grateful for her professional but friendly manner. Julie was also very friendly and polite. The relaxing atmosphere in this Burton Ableworld store is second to none. I would highly recommend a visit!
Thank you to Andrea and Julie for this easy, relaxed and knowledgeable experience in purchasing my lovely scooter, thank you both.

We went to the Burton on Trent store for a mobility scooter ...
We went to the Burton on Trent store as we wanted information about a folding mobility scooter. Julie and Andrea were brilliantly entertaining and gave us some very helpful advice about their range. We had the opportunity to try them for size and found one that seemed to be perfect for our needs. We have already had our elderly parents whizzing up and down the driveway and if we need some more we wouldnt hestitate to go back and see the ladies again

I went to Ableworld with my Grandad on…
I went to Ableworld with my Grandad on 20.05.2026 in Burton on Trent. We had no prior knowledge of mobility scooters but were aware my Grandad needed one, everything was explained to us in full and they spent a lot of time with us showing us how they worked, could be collapsed and explaining through all their products. We were helped by Julie and 2 gentleman when we were there, who were all lovely. My Grandad had been nervous and reluctant to go shopping for a scooter however, they made us feel so welcome and he came away with a scooter and feeling really happy. They have said they are happy to provide any assistance in the future. Cant fault this place :)
