Did annual boiler check- happy with service

We used Paul and his team at
Amersham and Chiltern Heating and Gas Ltd to install a new boiler.

Paul visited to discuss the installation, taking into account type of boiler, suitability and access etc.
His professionalism, politeness, punctuality and dedication were above expectations.

Shaun the engineer was respectful to our property at all times and did not leave until he was entirely happy all was working well.

Paul followed up with a courtesy call two days later to confirm we were happy with the installation.

I would not hesitate in highly recommending this company.

I would definitely recommend AC heating and gas and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I was pleased with the service from start to finish. Our boiler broke in the middle of the freezing weather - Paul responded to my request for a quote straight away and I had the new boiler fitted within just a couple of days. He was the cheapest of three quotes, but I would have still used AC even if this wasn't the case due to how thorough, detailed and transparent Paul was when he came to quote.

Paul installed a new boiler for us (moving it from the ground floor into the loft) a couple of years ago and fitted several radiators at the same time. His work was superb and he is also just a really nice person to have working in your house. He and Nicola are amazing communicators - so much so that he once whatsapped me video links of how to rectify a pressure problem late into an evening - and he recently arranged for a minor leak to be sorted for us just before Christmas within 24 hours of us contacting him. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone.

We have used Paul for 5 years for boiler servicing. He is is highly professional, knowledgeable and competent and I highly recommend.

Paul and Nicola helped us to replace a very old (25+ years) boiler recently. From the first contact they were prompt and nothing was too much trouble. Paul came out to see our existing system and talk me through the options. I appreciated his advice working out what would best suit our house. What was particularly impressive though was how efficiently Paul dealt with some unexpected curveballs as we were moving the boiler location. We discovered some cement board that needed specialist removal and he found someone who could deal with it immediately. Before we even started stressing about it he had a solution. And then he prioritised finalising the boiler installation so we weren’t left waiting, despite the delay being outside his control. When we didn’t understand how to work the new digital thermostat he came back and showed us in person. Five starts all around and we are much warmer now!

So many things are great about Amersham & Chiltern Heating & Gas - the fact that, in my experience, Paul always answers the phone and doesn't leave you to speak to voicemail; they turn up when they say they will and keep you informed of their progress; the costs are reasonable for the quality of the work carried out; the engineer Paddy was friendly, efficient, and professional, as was Paul's colleague Nicola in the office.

Following a quote from Paul recently I arranged to have my heating boiler replaced, two water tanks removed and a radiator fitted to my airing cupboard.Two nice lads, Shaun and Jay arrived on a bitterly cold morning and over the next two days completed the job to a good standard and I now have a safe working gas boiler. The flue had to go into a different place and the old hole was filled in nice and neatly. The two lads worked very hard and tidied up after themselves. Shaun explained the controls etc., and pointed out a potential issue with one of my radiators. All was good and then the poor souls had a problem with their van's sliding door which took them an age to fix in freezing weather. Well done to all. So far so good and I would definitely use them again.

We picked Amersham and Chiltern Heating for a combi boiler installation. Out of 10+ quotes we received, Paul was the best on professionalism , timeliness, price, transparency, and availability.
Most importantly they delivered on all promises! The installation process was on time, quick, efficient, and tidy. The new boiler and magnetic filter were fitted perfectly into place with no compromise on the look and aesthetics of the cabinet/whole kitchen.
