The app worked for my Newport Cliff Walk self-guided tour. GPS was good and the narration was activated when I walked to the next location. Very easy to use. My tour cost $10 and my wife and I were able to hear the commentary on the phone speakers during our outdoor walk tour.

We used the Action Tour Guides for our trips around Yellowstone NP and Grand Teton NP. The information provided was very informative and helped us learn more about the parks as we were touring. We will definitely use again in the future.

The Gettysburg Tour was full of information and we loved that we could go at our own pace.

For only $15 you get to enjoy a well-narrated tour in your own car, at your own pace. Really loved my experience. I generally don't like group tours so this was such a good option that I never considered before.
I'll probably use Action Tour again!

This Action Tour Guide was outstanding! We did download the entire guide while we had cell service. It walk us through all the features with historical background. It automatically started and stopper per our location even when we got off the standard route.

This was a fantastic tour - better than those we paud $100 for because we could take our time. Its very eady to follow snd informative.

We wanted to drive through Arches National Park so we could go at our own pace and have the flexibility to stay shorter or longer at any of the stops. We have never used an audio tour, so we decided to try it. I am so glad we did as it was super easy and intuitive. We drove along the route at the recommended speed and listened to the narrator share stories about the next stop we were en-route to see. We learned a lot and had a great time.

I was so impressed with this company. I had a question about using the self-guided audio tour before purchasing. I contacted them by email about 8:30pm and had a response within minutes. I purchased the guide and downloaded as instructed. It worked perfectly! And gave me so much information! It made the Freedom Trail come to life. It was so fantastic that it “kept up” with me-starting just as I arrived at each location. Such a perfect way to take a walking tour!

We had one day to explore Joshua Tree National Park. It was way too hot to hike. We hooked up to the audio tour and listened through our truck’s radio via Bluetooth from my cell phone. It was full of facts about the park, plus many tales of the Wild West. It was very entertaining. It added so much to our visit that day! We are hoping to find other audio tours for different national parks.

Purchased the Road to Hana app. It started out pretty good but about a third of the way through it kept crashing on us. It WAS DOWNOLADED to my phone so it was not an internet connectivity issue. We ended up finding a place with internet connectivity and purchasing another app on the fly (GyPSy Guide). It saved the day.

Update 9/23/22 in response to Action Tour Guides: I don't recall exactly where it first crashed but think it is somewhere between Haipua'ena Falls and Garden of Eden. It crashed multiple times. My phone model is iPhone 13 and was up to date with the latest ios.

Update 9/28/22: I received the free annual subscription to your catalog and have activated it on my phone. Thanks, I appreciate the thoughtful customer service.

Great tour, very informative. Like you can adjust it to where you are at. Well worth the money.

We have used several Action Tour Guides over the last two years including Arches, Zion, Bryce, Canyonland, Capitol Reef, Grand Staircase Escalante, Monument Valley, Glacier, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and Rocky Mountain. They are easy to use and quite informative. They definitely enhance any visit to a National Park. They are not as good as a tour with a live guide, but they can be used at any time and are far less expensive. Be sure to download them in an area with adequate cell reception before you enter the Park. I recommend them with no reservation.

The audio tour enhanced our trip through the park. Great facts and stories. Will use an audio tour with all the parks now.

We were staying in Gatlinburg so bought the Smoky Mountains tour. The tour itself was excellent - everything worked properly and it was easy to navigate (I did try it out at home first to ensure everything downloaded correctly). The only problem we had was not being able to drive at the recommended slower speed since we were in town on Labor Day weekend and the traffic was relentless - but that was no fault of the app. I would recommend the Action Tour Guide.

Bought the guide for Monument Valley, Arizona. Promised interactive map was not available. Appropriate commentary did not start according to GPS location as promised. There was a little interesting general info on the rock formations but very little on ones specific to the park. I had read or heard most of the historical info on other tours, so not useful to me. Was a frustrating experience for me and of minimal value.

What a wonderful experience! This was such a great way to see Gettysburg and we already have plans to use it again on an upcoming trip in Charlottesville!

This is a great way to get a guided tour without having to sit on a tour bus with a bunch of people you can do it in the comfort of your own vehicle at your own leisure the navigation worked perfectly and my girlfriend and I very much enjoyed ourselves and would do it again

We used the Action Tour Guide app to tour Kauai. The app provide one of the best tours we have taken. We had a rental car so we could drive at our pace and take the suggested side trips and stop and hike or wade on the beach or shop, or eat and the app “waited” for us. We liked the interesting stories and facts that were shared.

We used the guides for Hawaii, Kauai, and Maui. They were all very informative and gave great information. It was nice that the guides started the information automatically but we frequently took the roads in the opposite direction. While we missed what it was that was talked about, the information was still great.
