A great birthday present for friends and family.

I brought this for myself it arrived promptly today I was thrilled at the quality of it plus the information, it was priced reasonably makes a good gift . Packaging was good I brought the frame too, I would recommend.

What to buy for that person who has everything
Usual problem of what the heck can I get daughter for her birthday, having seen quite a few online ads, I thought I'd try this out.
Delivered pretty quickly after ordering and she loved it.
Not a huge amount of info to be honest, but what there was provided some laughs (annual salary in 1985 for one).Ideal for that extra gift when you're stuck to know what to buy. Well presented too.

Paid £10 extra for delivery, still not here
I ordered for my husband's 60th birthday and paid the extra £10 for 24hr dispatch to make sure it arrived in time. 1 week later and it still isn't here. Have emailed the company twice. Once by replying to email confirmation and once through Shop app. No reply on either (junk mail checked). I am so disappointed that my husband didn't have a present for his special day.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re very sorry for the disappointment this caused, especially given it was for your husband’s 60th birthday.
Just to clarify, we did respond to your email today (Monday) once the team returned from the weekend. We are currently in the process of training additional staff to extend coverage to include weekends going forward.
Your order was placed on 3rd March, however we experienced a temporary stock issue which wasn’t resolved until 6th March. Unfortunately this was then followed by the weekend when Royal Mail do not collect from us, which is why the order was dispatched on Monday.
We completely understand that 6 days is not acceptable, and this is certainly not our usual turnaround time, so we sincerely apologise for the delay.
As an apology from our side, we have fully refunded your delivery fee and issued a partial refund on the order.
We appreciate your patience and hope the pack still brings some enjoyment once it arrives.

Absolutely fantastic pack.
I have ordered three of these packs since Christmas. One for my partner who loved reading about the history of her lady name. The other two are upcoming birthday gifts.
I had a slight issue with my most recent order (only 1 pack arrived instead of two) however an email was sent to customer service and I received a lovely email from Gemarie who assured me that the missing pack would be sent out as a priority and within a couple of days it arrived.
These packs are wonderful and very informative. A Day In History is a small company and positive reviews will help enhance the reputation of this company.

An Amazing Gift For Any Occasions
I ordered 2 lots for my two daughters, along with the details highlighting the history of their Surname, plus a frame. Wow! What more can I say, I received, all my items safely packaged up, presented in a wonderful burgundy folder highlighted in Bold Gold, A Day In History. There is so much information, for example the prices of Houses, Bread etc., in the year, of that person’s birth compared to the present. Absolutely fantastic customer service experience. Small problem with the pack I received which was completely replaced and received within a week with no problem.
The packs are extremely high quality and are a lovely personal momento for people to keep, I have so far purchased three packs for special milestone birthdays.

The contact between ourselves was fantastic, delivered to the wrong address but Gemarie made sure I received my Day in History for my daughters 30th Birthday, it's everything and more I could of wished for she absolutely loved it truly loved it.
To see how much it meant to my daughters 30th Birthday was so worth it.
This company is one of the best I have ever delt with, they kept their promise.
This pack is beautifully presented, the thick paper and seal is so official , the information of which day you choose if full of fun facts, how everything was and Costs, birthdays also on that day, world facts all very interesting.

Placed order and nothing shipped
Placed order on Feb. 13 and yet to get an update on shipping. It says shipping label created but shipper has not picked up. It’s sitting there for 2 weeks? Way past the intended birthday it was to be a gift for. Yet to get an update although it was requested.

Content was disappointing
I have just received my pack giving me details of my surname. It is a gift for my husband’s birthday. It arrived less than a week after I ordered it which was very prompt, but I was disappointed with the content I must admit. At least I paid a discounted rate, if I had paid full price I would have been very annoyed 😕
