Terrible experience with pet insurance

Terrible experience with pet insurance. Booked a video call with a vet, but could not connect. First the vet could hear me, but not see me. I could not hear her. Tried again, but neither the vet nor I could hear each other. No instructions are given as to how to set up the system to be able to connect. I am a computer user for work and many other online systems (banking, shopping, research to name a few), but this left me completely defeated and added to the stress already caused by having a sick dog. I won't even try to use this service again and definitely could not recommend it. Only anyone with a higher degree in computing would stand half a chance of being able to make it work. I will be looking elsewhere when my pet insurance is due for renewal.

TRAVEL INSURANCE with Admiral
Have you had this experience ?
I am in the middle of my first ever travel insurance claim
I booked a months holiday but fell very ill en route
I had to drive 700 miles home a very difficult drive home
I was so ill and nearly called 111 for the first 3 nights my temperature was so high, outside it rained and rained.
I have every detail and reciept to back my claim. I was far to unwell to go to the doctors in those first 3 days and did not want to pass this on to others. But now my claim is in DOUBT whether they can help me. I did go to the doctors I was still so unwell when I got my doctor appointment she gave me antibiotics .. I am told I should have gone to the doctors to validate my claim as the illness was happening.. But the doctors say if you have flu stay away use paracetamol .. and I don't have a wife to go and help me. you just want to survive and get well. I felt I was insured I filled every form perfectly
I will keep you posted as to the outcome of this
I am astonished by this ,, But lets wait and see

They are making me work so so hard
and can you believe that because I did not catalogue with the doctors while i was in brd so gravely ill Its all in doubt They now want 2 years medical records so that is £75 i have spent on Doctors records
I see Admiral are not looking at Trust Pilot
I understand that of course
But I am worried by the obstacles I already have every question answered with all proofs of payment

As a holder of Admirals multi cover…

As a holder of Admirals multi cover insurance policy for the last 2 years, I was disappointed to receive a quote which was 37% higher than last year. No claims other than windscreen, which apparently doesn’t impact price. I was informed there was a technical error in generating a standard renewal so following several long phone calls was put through to new business. I was hopeful but instead of a reduction in cost, it increased even further for the same cover as I had last year. I went with Admiral as they seemed to offer value for money now however I feel as if I’m being fleeced and will go elsewhere. I would previously have recommended them but absolutely not now.

claim for storm damage…

put in a claim for storm damage feb.2022 they sent an assesso. Heard nothing for 8 months,contacted Admiral on several occasions,got apologies and excuses i.e e mails stuck in "pending"and not sent.Ieventually looked in my file to find the claim had been closed due to wear and tear (during 3 of the worst storms in recent history}?never use them again nor will anybody i know.

Hello I used Admiral van insurance for…

Hello I used Admiral van insurance for my small business. I had a accident on 28th July 2020 when a HGV ran into the back of the van on a roundabout. I had to pay my £500 excess and lost 2 days pay as a result of lost work due to taking the van in for repairs. Witch I still have not received back yet over 2 ago I used there recommend repairer I was unhappy with the work. So it had to go back to the spray body shop to make it good. After I took the vw caddy home it rained overnight. I noticed it was raining in over the sliding door. They payed me compensation to put the work right. to have another garage. off my choice . But over time I noticed that the tyres were bored uneven wear. Due to something being out of line or in twist. I contacted Admiral insurance again to tell them about the problem and they said that it was a maintenance problem not the fact that the van had been hit by a large HGV. Pulling a large trailer.that was causing the uneven wearing on the tyres. And then they told me my insurance was going up by over £700 pounds due to no fault of my own.I found the experience of being with Admiral. Very stressful and would not recommend them.
