DISAPPOINTING ETHICS ❗️❗️❗️
Pacer now “seizes” your APP, and FORCES customers to go through pages to subscribe to “Premium” subscription. I brought it to the attention when 1st happened , and received a “oops, sorry email”, it “looks like” we force you to “Premium”, but we really don’t. Then, it “seized” my access AGAIN. I emailed 1) I did NOT want to”Premium”, and 2) concern with unethical “lock-up” of my APP. I received a 2ND email from Pacer again stating: “don’t worry, we won’t charge you”. I responded it was a DECEPTIVE PRACTICE, to which Pacer replied “ sorry you “ FELT” that way. I DID NOT “FEEL” any way- I WAS locked-away from my data, until I went through Pacer’s trickery toward “Premium”. This was a tangible action to force customers to “Premium; it was NOT a “feeling”, and I told Pacer so. And, I got n email confirming that , with a statement they would evaluate the deceptive practice

I signed up for a package of four challenges to keep myself motivated. I loved the idea of doing a virtual challenge and receiving a pretty medal at the end to show my accomplishment.

The Pacer Challenges require the Pacer Health App. A month ago, I signed up for both based on research and finding that Pacer advised you can use with Google Health and Fitbit. We are now a month later, and I haven’t even been able to complete my first challenge of 174 miles because Pacer decided to change their app and remove direct access to Google Health/Fitbit. If anyone knows, there are still issues and glitches between Apple Health and Google Health, especially when you wear a Fitbit and you are required to share your Fitbit information with Apple Health. The information does not transfer correctly. That being said, I went to Pacer to get my money refunded, as I spent the good part of a day or so, along with help from Google and others to try to get my Fitbit to update my Pacer App so I could complete my Pacer Challenges. Their customer support is extremely lacking in the support department. They do not quite understand that this is a decision made by Pacer to remove my direct access and advertised based on that service. It is not the customer’s choice. It is quite a shame. I had really enjoyed the app and the challenges and was looking forward to doing more. I just want my full refund at this point which they have skirted around and not promptly delivered. Horrible service!

After more than 1,5 year i received a lot of medals. The app is simple but creative, i like the checkpoints during a challenge, i can download them as a postcard, after the challenge i got also a nice certificate & badge. The medals are beautiful, with nice details on it, real artwork, and the best quality compared to other similar apps, companies. The communication with the team is easy, fast, i just got more extra days to complete my "Hawaiian" & "Viking Warrior" challenge, no extra costs or blah blah blah...So big thank you from iceland and thank you for everything during the years💙

I’ve been using the Pacer app for a few years now and love it. I love the app as a fitness app bit also the Medal Challenge aspect of the app is brilliant. Compared to another well known medal app I’d say this has a slight edge in that the information you receive is more in depth. The medals are amazing and if you have any problems the online support is great.

What was first an effort to complete only one challenge to get the beautiful Hanami medal has turned into a quest to get 5 medals and advance through 10 leagues to get to the top diamond league in 90 days. My top miles for a single day is 15.7 and I have lost weight and gotten back to my shape 20 years ago after breaking both feet. Thank you for all the encouragement and the competitive challenges that helped me walk again when I was discouraged and nothing else worked! I love you Pacer for getting me healthy again!! Sunny💜

Absolutely been an incredible experience using Pacer! The activities have kept me motivated to keep walking and the the medals are beautifully designed! I've started walking on July 7th with Pacer, I completed a 38 mile challenge. I am currently 161 miles into my next challenge of 340 miles, and have signed up for 2 more challenges to complete after I finish this one.

I love Pacer! Not only are the medals super pretty, but the customer service has also been stellar! When one of my medals broke, they immediately offered a replacement and discount. Communication with them is easy and I've never had to wait more than a few hours for a response. At this point, I would genuinely be shocked if I ever encounter a negative experience with them.

What I like about Pacer - it has a very useful application, with virtual challenges, where your steps move you along the beafitul paths. What's important for me - the app synchronises my steps as I go, and not only once a day (as other company does). Also I receive real gorgeous heavy medals for my journeys. And the customer support is beyond any expectations!

Very helpful. When I have a question, they explain it to me like I'm 4 and break everything down. I have a hard time understanding things sometimes, but their explanations are always helpful. And they will have multiple email explanations if I'm still struggling, they don't just write you off after one answer

Love these adventures. They keep me motivated and you get to experience locations you may never get to see in person. I highly recommend this app for anyone !

Really a great app, very challenging and useful !!! The customer service is excellent, they respond quickly. It’s a great app to get you motivated to exercise.

I've been doing Pacer virtual challenges for over three years and enjoy them immensely. They give me the motivation I need to keep my excercise on track PLUS I get to learn about various locations all around the globe. Their customer service is the absolute best. I have a bad habit of deleting my emails that contain my challenge codes but Pacers customer service team always helps me get the codes again. Always friendly and helpful no matter how derpy I get. This is my favorite app for keeping me motivated to meet my daily steps.

Lovely medals that show great artistry. The map functions on the app work really well, however its hard to move up leagues without paying for their subscription and the added perks.

These are fun and motivating. The optional badges are great.

I have enjoyed every medal I've earned. I've been trying for a hike in Norway and these adventures have kept me on pace

I was first attracted by the beautiful medal of Sakura. Then I found the idea of teleporting myself beyond my neighborhood very liberating. It gave me motivation for doing the walk. The rich information about the destination and lovely postcards are extra bonus. For the Santorini challenge, I only input the distance covered by my husband and I. Upon completion, it was like our dream of traveling to Greek came true in a way. Given our advanced age and the disruptions of international flights, Pacer challenges kept us connected to the world and let the adventure continue for everyone. There are many other health and fitness feature in the app. The customer service responded to my enquiry of finding history of completed adventure with patience and kindness. Way to go, way to go!

I have done several challenges and I just love them. One medal did arrive with a small hanging piece broken. Communication was quick and they resolved the issue to my expectations. Great and friendly customer service.

What a great customer service experience I had with Pacer representatives Gianna and Jane. Quick to respond and quick to fix the issue I was having. Love Pacer customer service and medals. Highly recommended.

I got the Mother’s Day challenge as a Mother’s Day gift! What a wonderful way to spend time together, and get a beautiful badge to remember my Mother’s Day!
