Most important is that loved the product! You can’t go far wrong with a nod to the WWII Dirty Dozen design but the casing has a lovely shape, the strap fits sleekly and the glass has a lovely oval shape. The 39mm is a goody size and doesn’t feel to bulky. Along with that the team at Aera were very responsive and no automated virtual assistants :-)

Aera Instruments offers stunning watches with unique designs and superb quality. Their dedication to craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stand out. Communication throughout the buying process was exceptional. Both the D-1 Diver and P-1 models are beautiful additions to any collection, and I’m excited to see more from them. Highly recommended!

I only discovered Aera watches recently and was immediately drawn to their design ethos, attention to detail, material choices and very cool watches that result from these factors coming together.

I ordered the D-1 diver and from the first point of contact with Aera, the experience has been first class.

I had personal dialogue with one of the company directors prior to purchasing.

I’m based in NZ and within minutes of asking a question via the website, had a response ( late on a Sunday evening UK times) - that is a level of customer service rarely enjoyed these days.

This promoted some dialogue around the watch which was clear and prompt and highlighted that this is clearly a company driven by a passion for watch design but also meeting their customers expectations.

The watch arrived promptly in NZ via fedex.

I received regular communication from both Aera and FedEx regarding the tracking of the package and on arrival all duties and tariffs we paid for by Aera.

Whilst this isn’t a review of the watch, I must mention the watch!

Upon unboxing, one word WOW!

Images and videos on line do not do this watch justice. In “the flesh” it really is stunning in terms of fit and finish and the double domed sapphire gives the watch a unique look.

On the wrist after a week, it wears super comfortable and despite the big dimensions, doesn’t look or feel overly large!

In conclusion, I can’t find a single thing that’ would be considered a negative both with regards to the company or their products ( the P-1 is now on my radar).

Simply said, if you are in the market for a fairly priced, beautifully executed timepiece for your wrist from a company who are a dream to deal with, don’t hesitate to click “Add to cart”!

I have been following Aera since there beginnings being drawn to the design and an individual British’s brand not following trends and doing there own thing that’s quite unusual in the current watch space.
Now a proud owner of the D1 and so happy with the product and how it wears on the wrist being a 44mm and due to the nature of the design allows to wear very snug hugging the wrist, I would say the best wearing 44mm on the market. The lug design and concave dial design along with the domed crystal it’s fantastic.

The photos alone do no do there watches any justice they need to be tried and highly recommend owning hundreds of watches over the past 20 years.

Also the correspondence between the the company was excellent Jas and his team are doing a splendid job. I can only say good things and look forward to future models.

First rate company - both in products (watches / accessories) and customer service - both which should carry Aera to new heights.

I ordered a D-1 Diver watch from Aera and I had a great checkout/purchase as well as support experience. I absolutely love this watch. There was a small hiccup with the shipping when the package got to Canada, but the team at Aera were very helpful and super quick to reply to my emails and messages (even with the timezone difference, them being in the UK and me being in Canada). In the end, everything worked out perfectly. I received my watch and I could not be happier. I would highly recommend Aera and will most certainly order from them again (their P-1 Pilot looks seriously good.)
