Easy-to-use website. Swift delivery. Great recommendations and wide range of genres and authors. I love Afori books in person but can’t get there often, so online is ideal.

Poor customer service wouldn’t recommend

Chased 3 times over both email and instagram before finally receiving a reply telling me there was a mix up at the warehouse which was the reason for my order taking almost 2 weeks to arrive.

The books themselves are fine but customer service is very disappointing.
I requested my delivery fee to be refunded and my emails have been ignored.

Hello Natalie. I am so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with our customer service as it is something we are renowned for. Having had a look at your account I can see that we did reply to your email, (maybe it is in your spam?) You had a 10% discount with your order and were offered a further 10% discount when your books were delayed.
Postage for all our customers is already subsidised and as your parcel was posted and did arrive we have already covered that cost, so as an independent we cannot afford to cover that cost for you as well as the 2 discounts you already received. We hope you enjoy your books, they are 2 of my favourites.

Good service from start to finish.

The original idea of providing information on books via emails is great & helped me to choose in the comfort of my home.
Then Afrori made the purchasing, posting & acquiring the book very easy.

Brilliant shop

Brilliant shop - loads of great books, really wide section. Friendly, helpful staff. Plus they do loads of excellent activities. The shop feels like a welcoming community space

Fantastic!

Used them for the first time. They kept me updated and sent the book out promptly. The book was undamaged and exactly as good a condition as if I'd picked it up from the store myself. Very happy and will use them again.
