Very poor customer service
Got Airtel services to our new house two weeks ago.One Swamy attended to this but wifi not stable. He has been telling us he'll sort this out for us the past two weeks but is yet to do it,despite several many gentle requests and even paying him for this! We have an 85yr old lady here to take care of and this unstable wifi has made things very difficult

It so pathetic behaviour airtel, no proper support for my wifi air fiber when requested for internet issues as promised was 40 mbps and I was getting only 1 or 5 mbps was not able to work from home. The team came 3 times but no one could fixe the issue hence I switched my internet connection to different provider now I'm so happy getting 50mbps at just 399 .
I would like to say even the support service is werst experience in my whole life. I had to call for a month to close my connection with wifi. Everytime support ask same question why you want to switch everytime I explain the issue then no support they say disconnectiom team not available servers are done and even if the request to disconnection some how raise some one from back end without permission puts the wifi to custody 😭I had to remove from custody and again call for disconnect still not able close connection some one put a case on airtel support team
Very poor service - No technician visit despite multiple complaints.
I am very disappointed with the service of Airtel Black. My broadband router is showing a continuous red light and there is no internet connection. I have called customer care many times but no technician has visited my home yet. Because of this repeated issue and delay in service, my work is still pending. I expected better support from Airtel, but the service response is very poor.
Now when I asked to close my Airtel Black account due to poor service, the support team said I have to pay the outstanding amount first. It is very frustrating to pay when the service itself is not working properly.Please improve customer support and resolve issues quickly.

I am extremely disappointed with the Airtel Xstream Fiber service at my location. It has only been around 3 months since the connection was installed, but the internet keeps stopping for 3–4 days continuously.
Despite contacting customer care multiple times, there is no proper support or solution provided. The engineers either do not visit on time or the issue keeps repeating again and again. This shows very poor management and service quality.
It feels like the company only focuses on convincing customers at the time of installation, but once the connection is done, no one takes responsibility for service.
This constant internet outage is causing serious inconvenience and frustration. I request Airtel to immediately resolve this issue permanently. If the problem is not fixed soon, I will be forced to escalate the complaint to higher authorities and consumer forums.
Kindly take this matter seriously and provide a permanent solution as soon as possible.

I am extremely disappointed with Airtel’s service and misleading technical support. I recently purchased the ₹101 Unlimited 5G Booster specifically to enable 5G on my active 1.5GB/day plan. Despite paying for this 'unlimited' benefit, the 5G stopped working after just one day. To make matters worse, your automated 'Airtel Chat' support is giving me incorrect information, claiming I need a 2GB/day plan to be eligible. This is a blatant contradiction since the ₹101 pack is marketed exactly for users on 1.5GB plans. I have paid for a service that is being blocked by your own system errors. Fix this immediately.

I recently attempted to convert my Airtel physical SIM to an eSIM on my mobile. However, I received the QR code only after 4 hours, and during that time, my number became blocked. When I contacted customer care, I was advised to visit an Airtel store and obtain a new physical SIM by providing my ID proof.
I submitted my ID documents and received a new SIM in November 2025, but despite multiple follow‑ups, the SIM was not activated. Eventually, only the SMS service was activated in January 2026.
Today is 25 February 2026, and even after four months, my call services (incoming and outgoing) are still not activated. I have not received any proper response from either the Airtel Store or Customer Care. Each time, I am told it will be activated soon, but there has been no progress.
I am extremely frustrated with the Airtel process, and I have no clarity on when this issue will finally be resolved.

Airtel IR is bad. Simple. In Australia, esp Tasmania, no the calls don't work and internet rarely works. Airtel isn't bothered. They promptly charged me rs 3999 without ensuring I get good service. After 10 days, I brought a local sim and that was good, worth the money.

I am sharing my recent and very frustrating experience with Airtel regarding prepaid service and mobile number portability (MNP).
My Airtel prepaid plan expired on 20 Feb 2026, and since my home Wi-Fi sometimes fails, I rely on mobile hotspot for office work. But Airtel hotspot has repeatedly failed me, so I finally decided to port out to BSNL.
I have ported several times before (Airtel → BSNL → Jio → Airtel), and earlier the porting was quick—even if I lost some balance. But now, because of the new TRAI MNP rules, the porting process takes over 5 days, and during this entire period, I had no network service at all. I was unable to do official communication or bank transactions for these days.
I tried cancelling my port request, and I received an SMS saying I could cancel until 24 Feb, 10 AM. But the system didn’t allow me to cancel, saying the cancellation window had passed.
To make things worse, I then tried recharging my Airtel number, and the payment was accepted (₹650), but it still said that my porting will happen tomorrow as scheduled! So now I have lost:
✔ ₹650 to Airtel for a recharge that won’t be used
✔ ₹250 to BSNL for port-in SIM
This is unacceptable.
When I went to the Airtel Store near Velachery Vijayanagar Bus Stand, hoping for help, the staff was extremely rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. The representative simply said “use this link if you want to complain” and refused to assist me. This kind of behavior is shocking from a major telecom provider.
I tried calling customer care through IVRS over 15–20 times, but I was never able to reach an actual human being. No support, no guidance, nothing.
Overall experience:
Poor mobile service
Unhelpful & rude staff at Airtel store
Recharge accepted even when port-out is active (misleading system)
Zero customer support access
Money lost due to flawed TRAI timelines + Airtel policies
My message to others:
Please be cautious when initiating MNP. Plan properly, because if your plan expires during the porting window, you will have no service for several days and may lose money. The current system does not protect customers, and we end up suffering.
This experience has caused me unnecessary stress and financial loss. I genuinely hope Airtel improves its customer service, staff training, and transparency.
