I took a trip from 09/15 to 09/22, the whole process smoothe easy. All of the agents were very knowlegdable and helpfull. When i arrived transportation was arrainged and never had any issues or delays. Stayed in two hotels in Medina and Mecca which were set up prior to arrival. For all that are looking to travel i highly reccomend going through Al raheem travels llc for there services.

My family and I had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience with Al Raheem Travel Agency LLCwhile arranging our Umrah trip to Saudi Arabia.

My mother, my uncle, and I collectively paid approximately ($1,600 through Zelle) for travel arrangements. We initially trusted the agency because my uncle had already been working with them for approximately two months and believed everything was being handled properly.

As problems began to arise, we became increasingly concerned about the accuracy of the information we were receiving. We eventually decided that we no longer wanted to work with the agency and specifically requested that our money be refunded.

At that point, the agency agreed to refund us and told us that our "Zelle payments would be returned within a couple of days".

A couple of days passed. We have been working with a guy there names Zain, who is one of the worst liars I have ever met in my life.

Then the explanation changed to the following week.

When we continued asking for our money, the explanation changed again. We were then told, essentially,“Oh brother, we already made the reservation on your behalf and we are waiting for the hotel to refund us.”

This was extremely concerning because we had already been told that our money would be returned. Instead of receiving the promised refunds, we were given a completely different explanation about a hotel reservation and a supposed hotel refund.

We then independently contacted the hotel because we wanted to verify what was actually happening. Based on what we were able to determine, we became seriously concerned after finding out the hotel reservation was never made in the first place.

That raised a very serious question: If the hotel reservation was never actually made, what hotel refund were we supposedly waiting for?

At this point, our experience went from a simple travel problem to a serious dispute over approximately $1,600 of our family's money.

We were repeatedly promised that our money would be returned. When we demanded our refunds, we were told the Zelle payments would be returned in a couple of days. That deadline passed. Then it became the following week. Then the explanation changed to a claim that a reservation had already been made and that the agency was waiting for the hotel to refund them.

We still have not received the refunds that were promised to us and based on other negative reviews on their Facebook, they never refunded anyone so it looks like we have to accept the loss and learn the lesson of never dealing with an agency like this again

The repeated changes in explanation are one of the main reasons we lost confidence in the agency and believe our experience needs to be publicly documented.

This was particularly upsetting because we were arranging Umrah, a religious journey that was extremely important to our family. We trusted this agency to handle our travel arrangements honestly and professionally.

We have retained our Zelle records, messages, communications, travel information, and other documentation. We are also aware of other people who claim to have experienced problems with this agency, on their Facebook page, and every positive review on there was from a fake profile.

We are therefore reporting our experience to the appropriate consumer-protection and law-enforcement authorities and providing our documentation for investigation.

Our family trusted this agency, paid approximately $1,600, were promised refunds multiple times, and instead received changing explanations and still have not received the money that was promised back to us.

We are posting this review to warn other travelers and especially anyone planning Umrah to be extremely careful and to independently verify their reservations before trusting any agency with their money. DO NOT TRUST THIS AGENCY, THEY ARE SCAMMERS, LIARS AND WILL NEVER REFUND YOU YOUR MONEY!
