I have just read through many reviews on here about Albashite Airlines and while I'm fuming about what happened to us on the 11th August last year (from Bournemouth to Mallorca), it is a tiny bit comforting to know that I am not the only one and that we have also had the appaling, uncaring, unprofessional and dreadful service from their customer services. Like most of you out there, we had an 11 hour delay caused by damage to the incoming flight. We were promised compensation within 90 days, but to date (10 months later) have not received a penny! They blame it on post pandemic issues to the aviation sector, but a more recent delay to one of our flights, took just 22 days to resolve with full payment duly received.
They are Spanish and consequently are very rude and disrespectful, so it is to be expected I guess, but we will never fly with this airline again!! Good luck and keep battling your corners everyone....I will now be writing to Watchdog and Martin Lewis.
Shocking airline
Shocking airline. Flight time changed twice then delayed. Can't even get onto them for claiming. €4 voucher given to us at airport yet restaurant was closed and a sandwich from shop is €6.25.

Warnung, nichts mit Albastar buchen
Mit Kind, schwangerer Frau hat Albastar den vermeintlichen letzten Urlaub für die nächsten 1 bis 2 Jahre auf Mallorca kaputt gemacht.
Flug wurde am 28.05 um ca 14:30 Uhr Ersatzlos gestrichen, Abflug wäre 11:55 Uhr gewesen. Über 200 Leute frustriert und hingehalten.
5 € Gutscheine für die Wartezeit.....
Gepäckrückgabe zog sich bis nach 17 Uhr.
Hoffnung, dass es doch noch was geben könnte wurde geweckt. Alle Informationen wurden ausschließlich durch einen engagierten Fluggast vorangetrieben.
Dann die Info von einer Angestellte,
es gibt nichts mehr, Gepäckausgabe startet und wir sollen nach Hause.
Einige Leute sind fast auf das Gepäckband geflogen, da sie zum Teil drauf gesessen haben....verständlich nach einer Wartezeit von fast über 2 Stunden auf das Gepäck wartend.
In der Wartehalle hat es nach Reinigungsmittel mit Ammoniak gerochen.
Mit schwangerer Frau, Kind 4 Jahre alt, sowie vielen anderen Frauen und kleinen Kindern und keinerlei Service in Sicht, waren wir da eingepfercht.....Menschlichkeit Fehlanzeige, zählt nichts mehr, nicht Mal mehr Kinder.
Sind wir nur noch Geldkühe??
Anschliesend wieder Verwirrung ob es doch noch weitergeht.
Reiseveranstalter vor Ort konnten nichts machen außer die Leute anlügen damit diese weitergehen. Z. B das man zum Schalter zu Albastar gehen sollte.....FÜR ALLE, ES GIBT KEINEN SCHALTER VON ALBASTAR AM FLUGHAFEN STUTTGART.
Andere Reiseveranstalter, die keine Zweigstelle am Flughafen Stuttgart haben, konnte man nach 17 Uhr auch nicht mehr erreichen.
Das Personal muss es ausbaden und Manager schweben in Gehaltsstufen die nicht gerechtfertigt sind.
Soviel BWL kann ich als MBA auch, dass ich weiß, dass es nur noch um Geld ging, alles überbucht ist und der Flughafen keine Wartehalle ist. Es sollte kein weiterer Schaden entstehen,
aber der ist da, jede Plattform informiere ich darüber und warne alle meine Mitmenschen die nur als Geldkühe anscheinend betrachtet werden.
Diese Tränen meiner Tochter, die sicherlich nicht alles versteht, haben mich erschüttert.
Albastar wird das hier nicht lesen, sie haben eine Homepage die nur auf Englisch oder Spanisch zu stellen ist.
Zusatzgepäck oder sonstige Dinge gehen bei Albastar nicht, auch wenn die Info dort zu finden ist.
Kein Online-Check-In am Flughafen möglich und Check-In Prozedur hat viel zu spät angefangen. Indikator dafür, dass es ein Zusatzgeschäft für diese ist und sich nicht auf deren Bilanz sonderlich auswirken wird. Management von Airline und Flughafen wie auch Reiseveranstalter haben versagt und Mitarbeiter haben am Sonntag, der eigentlich heilig ist, das Nachsehen.
Alle die sich endlich wieder auf einen Urlaub gefreut haben und die, die Preisanstiege in Kauf genommen haben für etwas Glück und Freude, sind ver...scht worden.
Jetzt können nur noch Rezessionen etwas Wirkung zeigen und Rechtsanwälte, Rechtsschutz und nicht auf einen geringen Ausgleich vermitteln lassen, lautet mein Vorschlag.
An Albastar, bleibt bei euren Geschäften in Spanien oder Südamerika und fliegt die ganzen Engländer nach Teneriffa. Kein Reiseveranstalter mit Geschäft in Deutschland, sollte mehr mit euch arbeiten und keine Fluggäste, Urlauber/in sollte eine Reise buchen, in der Albastar fliegt.
Eine alte Maschine wurde zur Verfügung gestellt, die nach den extra Meilen nach Stuttgart nicht mehr funktionierte....ihr setzt im schlimmsten Fall Menschenleben aufs Spiel!!!!
Warum fliegt die auch hin und eine renommierte Fluggesellschaft macht den Rückflug bei dieser Reise....Zusatzgeschäft mit den Reservemaschine aus dem Schelter irgendwo aus Marrakesch oder Madrid....
Bitte nichts mehr mit Albastar buchen Leute, Hoffentlich bekommt ihr noch euren verdienten Urlaub. Wir versuchen es bei Vtours nochmal, wenn nichts mehr geht, gibt zu diesen und auch zum Flughafen Stuttgart Rezessionen und ich hoffe alle machen mit.

Terrible. After a delayed flight last July 2022 we were told we would receive our compensation within 90 days. The whole thing was a mess so we ending up booking an entirely new holiday and leaving that one. Now in April 2023, still no compensation, emails take months to get responded to and they tell me to be patient. Never had service this shocking! Do not use!

È vero che il loro aereo non è il più comodo del mondo ma lo staff a bordo è gentillissimo di ritorno da Sal Capo Verde il 26 marzo scorso avevo preso un virus gastro intestinale che si è fatto vivo proprio il giorno di ritorno e il personale di bordo mi ha fornito pure un medicinale per la nausea che avevo e si è preocupato di chiedere come stavo.
They promise compensation but don’t pay
Similar to everyone else, I was on a flight delayed by a full day last year. Travelling alone with 3 children, 2 of whom have disabilities.
Was told I’d receive compensation within 60 days - well it’s now double that and not received it.
All emails are ignored. I don’t hold out much hope but am not letting this go as relying on this compensation to take my children away this year.
Booked flight through TUI who were excellent. This airline is shocking, I keep expecting them to go into liquidation so they don’t have to pay out.
Do not fly with this airline
Plane was delayed for over 12 hours. 6 months later still no compensation which we are entitled too as stated on all paperwork .
Albastar accepted that we are owed compensation.
They do not reply to emails.
They do not pay out and just expect people to be patient! I think 6 months waiting is long enough. Poor service.

A luglio 2022 ho volato con loro.
Ritardi lunghissimi sia all'andata che al ritorno.
A settembre 2022 mi è stato promesso un rimborso che sarebbe dovuto arrivare in 30/60 gironi.
Ad oggi non è ancora arrivato nulla e non rispondono alle mail.
Peccato non poter dare 0 stelle.
AVOID this airline - lack of compensation should anything go wrong
AVOID this company to fly with!!! Was due to fly to Palma from city of Derry airport on 29th July 2022 - after a lengthy delay the flight was cancelled. We were advised to apply for compensation from the airline as by law they are required to compensate us for the delay. After putting in the claim I got an acknowledgment stating that they owed us money and it would be paid within 60 days. I didn't hear anything for months after continuously emailing them, messaging them on socials etc eventually I put a public comment on Facebook and they responded telling me to be patient and that payment will be issued in another few months!!! I have already been waiting since July 2022. Customer service is useless as nobody answers the phones or emails. I wouldn't recommend anyone to fly with them as you have no claim to compensation if anything goes wrong. Very disheartening considering I was travelling with 3 small children who were very upset at the cancelled flight. I will now have to escalate my complaint and don't hold any hope that it will be resolved!

After an 13 and half hour delay we got told to put in for compensation by our tui rep as that's who we had originally booked our holiday through. Replies back was fast to begin with they acknowledged they owed us money and within 90 days our payments would be In our banks the customer service is shocking and very rude After me receiving one email telling me to be patient ! The 90 days was up in December and my payment still hasn't been received.
Ignored
Following a 24 hour delay leaving Norwich to Mallorca in July 21022, my initial dealings with Albastar were ok. They acknowledged my claim, and that I was due compensation. I was advised that I would receive this within 90 days.
It is now February 2023, and I have not received my compensation. Customer Services ignore all of my emails and I now have no option but to pursue legal proceedings just to obtain what I'm due. Avoid.
Breve storia triste
Premetto che ho già inviato una segnalazione alla compagnia aerea, ma ad oggi non ho avuto risposta.
Scegliamo questa compagnia perché parte dall'areoporto di Bergamo ed è diretto all'isola di Sal (Cabo Verde).
Avendo una bimba di 1 anno e l'areoporto a due passi da casa ed essendo un diretto, rinunciamo alla comodità a bordo, in agenzia viaggi ci avvisano che gli aerei sono abbastanza scomodi molto simile a Rayanair, ma alla fine sono 6 ore di viaggio e quindi....si parte!
Check in rapido e gentile, partenza in orario, a bordo il posto vicino rimane libero e quindi guadagnamo un po' di spazio. Tutto sembrava andare nei migliori dei modi!!
Il problema si è rivelato il personale di bordo completamente incapace di affrontare e risolvere i comportamenti poco educati dei passeggeri, e precisamente di un gruppetto di 5 che portano a bordo una bottiglia di Amaretto di Saronno a cui il genio (perché di genio si tratta) dello stuart porta i bicchieri con il ghiaccio.
Non essendo vicini di seduta raggiungono gli altri componenti nella fila davanti alla nostra, e dulcis in fundo il capo banda decide di fumare dalla sua sigaretta elettronica.
Chiedo al signore di spegnere ed in tutta risposta il "principe" mi dice di chiudere la bocca, stiamo parlando di un gruppetto sulla cinquantina abbondante.
In tutto ciò il personale di bordo era scomparso ed eravamo seduti a due passi dal loro office di servizio.
L'unica cosa che hanno saputo fare quasi ogni ora, ricordare che in tutto l'aereo vige il divieto di fumo.
Difficilmente sceglierei nuovamente Alba Star.
La sicurezza del passeggero è fondamentale e secondo me non dovrebbe essere messa in discussione, neanche da un gruppetto di " baldi giovani".
NEVER FLY WITH ALBASTAR
We booked a package holiday through TUI but they used alabaster airlines for the flight. After an already nine hour delay at the airport, the plane finally landed but landed so badly, it burst the front tyre which meant no one was going anywhere. We did eventually get to a holiday destination but it ended up being a four day holiday instead of one week. We are legally owed flight delay compensation by albastar, but needless to say we are still waiting for payment. The holiday was in July. I am writing this in December 2022. Despite numerous attempts with customer services, they cannot tell me when they intend to pay me the compensation. I strongly recommend you never travel with this aIrline for so many reasons. Safety, quality, lack of cleanliness (you’d think they’d have cleaned it in the two days it was grounded) and criminally, not paying out money they legally owe. You have been warned!
Kofferschaden
Ich habe am 30.10.2022 einen Flug von Palma Mallorca nach Erfurt mit Alba Star gemacht.
Als ich meinen Koffer in Erfurt entgegen nahm, war das eine Rad abgebrochen und der Koffer an dieser Ecke gebrochen. Ich habe den Schaden gleich am Flughafen Erfurt gemeldet und er wurde dokumentiert, darauf hin habe ich das Formular zu Alba Star per Mail gesandt, aber es kam keine Reaktion -nicht mal ein Ticket per Mail oder sonst ein Feedback. Ich wiederholte es mehrmals, bis heute keine Reaktion.
Angenehmer Flug als Charterflug von…
Angenehmer Flug als Charterflug von AIDA von Palma de Mallorca. Der Flieger war sauber, das Personal war freundlich und der Flug war angenehm und ohne weitere Vorkommnisse. Der Start und die Landung waren gut und besser als mit manch anderer Airline mit der ich bereits geflogen bin. Der Flieger war pünktlich und überpünktlich am Zielort. Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden und würde auf jeden Fall wieder mit AlbaStar fliegen.

8 ottobre 2022 volo di ritorno AP 652 Lampedusa/Malpensa partenza 8 di mattina spostato alla sera ORE 20,00 x avere conferma siamo andati in aeroporto uff. Informazioni che hanno confermato la partenza alle 20,00 del 8/10.. peccato che il giorno 8/10 alle ore 8,00 di mattino il volo AP 652 ci e' passato sopra la testa destinazione Malpensa e noi a terra.. per ritornare a casa abbiamo comperato altro volo con altra compagnia sborsando piu' di 430,00 euro-- che se la compagnia fosse seria dovrebbe rimborsarmi..ma dubito che cio' avvenga.. diffidate.....

Dovevamo partire da Lampedusa alle ore15del 08/10/2022 causa guasto così hanno detto in una comunicazione un po' strana,x farla breve Odissea e finita alle ore 4 del 09/10/2022 con arrivo a Bergamo e trasferimento in pullman a Verona..mai più albastar x 150 persone andata e150 persone che arrivavano da Verona...tutte mai più albastar
