I have had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agency both as a tenant and as a buyer.
As a tenant, they show very little care or support for the people renting through them. Issues and requests are not properly communicated to the landlord, leaving tenants stuck with unresolved problems. There is virtually no support when you raise concerns, and communication is poor or non-existent.
As a prospective buyer, the experience has been just as frustrating. They are unwilling to allow viewings as many times as reasonably needed when making such an important decision as purchasing a property. The team is slow to respond, difficult to reach, and in some cases information about booked viewings has been misleading.
Overall, the service feels unprofessional and dismissive. Whether renting or buying, you expect transparency, communication, and some level of support—none of which were present in my experience. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative agencies if possible.

I have never bought a car in my life on finance but these people keep hounding me.texts and emails saying they cant advance with my claim until I send all the information of my purchases.
If these people were legit,why do they act exactly like scammers?

We recently sold our flat with Alexander & Co. It took some work for Kaiden & Grace, however they eventually found us a buyer! We couldn't have been happier as the move was really important for our son and his development as we needed to move into a more suitable home for him. It was so nice having estate agents who we could chat to and feel comfortable having in our home. We'll pop in soon to say thank you personally! Very unprofessional and messy service when checking out of lease.

£50 to replace 2 bulbs that can be bought for a £6,99 each is a joke.

I've had to rate them one star which they absolutely do not deserve .... I've had to call 4 times to try and get to talk to someone also leaving a VM on my 3rd call late afternoon, asking for a call the following day, which, yes you've guessed it, I did not get, so I called again the following morning 11:49am, I spoke to Andrea on my 2nd call, she promised to get Andrea the Solicitor to call m back, this did not happen, I spoke to Amber on my 4th call ... Amber didn't even know I had left a message (3rd call) so clearly messages do not get picked up .... I've just spoken to a Solicitor now after Amber must have run around the office begging for someone to take my 4th call and was offered no apology by the voice on the end of the phone .. unbelievable, hasten to add, I will not be calling back ... beware people they charge enough money per hour to take you calls .. don't they??

In the beginning when they are finding properties for you this estate agents will behave so professional and act promptly however do not be deceived soon as you will have a problem with the property such as mould they will play the blaming game and act indenial. The estate agents will not care the health risk it posses and will brush everything under the carpet. I have raised a complaint since April 2024 and still the issue is not resolved. So when it comes to taking the deposit, essential first steps of getting the property they will behave so nice, then you will see the true service. Don't be fooled by the reviews they gather in the beginning when they find you the property. Think about it how is it someone has so many five stars 🌟 ratings.

This review i am putting up is for Aimee walker i struggle with my metal health and there was an issue I was waiting for the accounts team to sort out and it was effecting my metal health. Aimee could see this and got it sorted for me she supported me kept me update through out this and i cant thank Aimee enough for what she done for me and my family in getting it resolved Alexander&CO have a very very amazing person working for if there was more people like Amiee the world would be a better from tbe bottom heart thank you Amiee and i wish a very happy xmas and happy new year Amiee you have made xmas for me and my family a happy one . Can i also thank Jan for all her support and help you really are both amazing thank Paul

We have had a 20 year relationship with Alexander & Co. as our letting agents. They have managed our property extremely well meaning that they have taken much of the worries in letting off our hands. They have always found good tenants - 5 in total. Sadly the time had come to sell the house. I have to thank the whole letting team for their help over the years. I would like to particularly thank Abigail who could not have been more helpful when tricky questions arose with regard to the tenancy during the sale. She was patient and professional. Alexander and Co in Brackley absolutely deserve a 5/5 rating here. The staff went above and beyond to complete on a difficult purchase (difficulty not caused by them), especially James who kept us updated every step of the way and chased daily for updates for us. They are genuine and friendly staff who completely understand how important buying/ selling a home is and will handle each step professionally. Couldn't fault them, they provided more information to us than our solicitors. Would absolutely use this company again.

We were on the market for some time, so Alexander and Co really earnt their money. For the first time, I can honestly say an Easte agent was worth their fee. Not only did Tom to and outstanding job of showing people round and gaining a sale, but the after sale service of Jill, taking us to completion was fantatstic. Great communication, honest responses and really empathy. You were a joy to work with, thank you.

Jill Barrett has helped us over several months to get our house sale completed, due to long delays by a third party's solicitor. Jill is always cheerful, positive, professional and efficient. She was a great liaison between ourselves and all buyers in the chain. I don't think we would be at completion now without Jill and our own brilliant solicitor never giving up. Well done, Jill. You're a star!
