Our 1972 MGB GT has been silently resting in the garage during the Covid restrictions but certain recent relaxing of the rules allowed us to attend a Spring run and Picnic organised by some car enthusiast friends. Such a welcome event encouraged us to treat ourselves to a classic picnic hamper and we searched on-line for something suitable.
And there are a lot out there but, for quality and classic suitability, we are so pleased that we chose the 'Highlands' Picnic hamper from Alfresco Dining Company Ltd. The contents of the hamper are of very good quality and the insulated interior of the hamper does a good job looking after the food and wine on the day.
Ordering was no problem on-line as their web site is comprehensive and straightforward. The price was excellent and Delivery was within 3 days and, as the item was over £40, delivery was FREE.
Customer Service was excellent. We had a very small problem with an item when the hamper was received and a replacement hamper was sent next day and the company made arrangements for the return of the original.
We have since enjoyed another picnic event with our MG and our new hamper which, again, served us well and was much admired.
Alfresco Dining Compant Ltd, with whom I have no connection other than as a satisfied customer, have provided us with a quality product and excellent customer service and I have no hesitation in recommending their products and service.

I’ve bought some of the recycled glass effect drink ware - tumblers and wine glasses. They’re great quality and perfect for around the hot tub. They’re also great “safe” glasses for the children to use (3&5, so there are still spillages!)

The picnic basket came really well packaged in the post. The plates are a nice size and I was pleased with the cutlery and glasses too. The main compartment is a very generous size - large enough for a cool bag and bottle cooler. The belt style fastenings keep everything secure. All in all a fab basket - just add a blanket and you are ready for alfresco dining.
