What is algorx?

Yes. algorx connects patients with licensed U.S.-based medical providers and state-licensed pharmacies. Laboratory testing is performed through CLIA-certified laboratories, including Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp. algorx is also LegitScript certified and operates with HIPAA-compliant safeguards for protected health information.
How does algorx work?
For prescription medications, patients select a treatment, complete a medical intake questionnaire, and have their information reviewed by a licensed medical provider. If the provider determines treatment is appropriate, a prescription is sent to a licensed pharmacy for fulfillment and delivery.
For diagnostic testing, patients can select a lab panel or individual biomarkers, receive a physician-approved lab requisition, visit an eligible Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp location, and securely access their results online.
Does algorx require a prescription?
Yes. Prescription medications available through algorx require review and approval by a licensed medical provider. Purchasing a medication does not guarantee that a prescription will be approved. Treatment is prescribed only when the reviewing provider determines it is medically appropriate.
Do I need to visit a doctor's office to use algorx?
For many services, no in-person clinic visit is required. Patients complete an online medical intake that is reviewed by a licensed provider. If additional information or evaluation is required, the provider may contact the patient before making a treatment decision.

How do algorx lab tests work?
Choose your labs online, receive a physician-approved requisition, and visit an eligible Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp location for your blood draw. Once testing is completed and finalized by the laboratory, results can be viewed securely through your algorx account.
How long does it take to receive medication from algorx?
A licensed medical provider typically reviews an order within 24 to 48 hours. After approval, generic medications generally ship within 1 to 3 business days. Compounded medications may require approximately 5 to 7 business days for pharmacy preparation before shipping.
Does algorx ship medications discreetly?
Yes. Medications are shipped directly from licensed pharmacy partners in discreet packaging. The contents are not identified on the outside of the package, although the dispensing pharmacy's name may appear on the shipment.
Can I track my algorx order?
Yes. Once a pharmacy ships an order, tracking information is provided by email or text when available. Patients can also view order and shipment status through their algorx account dashboard.
Is algorx HIPAA compliant?
algorx handles protected health information in accordance with HIPAA requirements. Health information is used to provide and coordinate healthcare services and is shared only as necessary with appropriate providers, pharmacies, laboratories, and authorized parties involved in fulfilling those services.
Does algorx sell my health information?

From start to finish, AlgoRx was one of the easiest telehealth experiences I've had. The website is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the health questionnaire was simple and straightforward with no confusing or repetitive questions. Checkout was smooth and accepted multiple payment options, including credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
What impressed me most was the speed of the provider review. I submitted my request in the evening, and the provider had reviewed it and responded that same night, with my order already processing. The provider's message was thorough and clearly explained how the medication works, possible side effects, and what monitoring I'm responsible for.
I'll update this review once my order arrives, but so far it's been a great experience.
