Good, but had to spend more than I should have
Overall, all is good, but yet again I had to buy a larger size than I need, at greater expense. There's still no better alloy wheel protector on the market that I can find, but please get the up-to 19" size back in stock.

We have taken the decision to consolidate our size range and are in the process of phasing out the smaller sizes. Producing and stocking three different sizes is no longer economically viable for us, and this is the only way we can maintain control of our costs and keep our prices at their current level. We know this isn't ideal for everyone, and we're sorry for the added expense on this occasion, but it is a decision we've had to make to ensure we can continue offering the best possible value to our customers.

Aĺloygators make your tyres leak
I got my Alloygators fitted by a 'professional ' in Mallusk, Belfast. They looked good but after a few months they started to slip, causing my tyres to leak and deflate, making long journeys difficult, not to mention other drivers flashing their lights at me and indicating that my hubs seemed to be falling off. I'm going to have to pay a garage to remove them. Very bad experience with Alloygators

Thank you for your review, and we're sorry to hear you've had a frustrating experience.
We'd like to reassure you that the AlloyGator itself is not the cause of your tyre deflation. AlloyGators are designed to sit between the tyre and the wheel, and in many cases actually help to form a secondary seal. The primary seal that prevents air loss is the bead-line, and if this has been damaged, for example by tyre levers during a previous tyre change, air can begin to escape. Over time, the natural movement of the tyre wall can disrupt the secondary seal too, leading to gradual air loss. While AlloyGators don't cause this, they can make an existing slow deflation more noticeable.
The good news is that this is fixable. We'd recommend having the tyre removed and the bead-line inspected. Any gouges can be smoothed out using an air tool sander, and a bead sealer, which is a liquid rubber, applied around the full circumference of the wheel before refitting. This will prevent further air loss and reinforce the bond between the tyre and the AlloyGator.

Having tested the tyre/rim for fitting I decided to go ahead and due to driving an automatic car took each wheel off to clean and bench fit.
Easy to follow instructions make fitting simple and quick . Got faster by the wheel!! Looks great, covered up recent damage and I wish I’d heard and found their site previously.
Highly recommended.

Dedicated to resolve issues
Alloygator has a very handy service of organising a fitting along with the purchase of their wheel protectors on their website. This was significantly cheaper than organising the fitting yourself which garages often charge £40 per wheel! Unfortunately the garage who fit my wheel didn't do a great job but Alloygators contacted me over the weekend to sort it and were very understanding of my situation. There was no excuses made and they got my wheel protectors sorted within an hour of me sending them an email over the weekend. Over all, despite the hiccup in service at no fault or Alloygator, I still had a very positive experience overall!
