Great bag and amazing service.
Came in less than a week even with the Christmas post in the uk being slow and no hidden fees like other reviews.

I ordered two items and I'm thoroughly impressed. Both are minimalistic, precisely what I was looking for. The delivery takes a bit longer, probably because they're shipped from the US (I'm based in the UK), but this was transparent during checkout, and the tracking service is excellent. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend.

They charged two separate "handling fees" to return the same item. I purchased the item for $25 and I'm getting back $15.76. Do not buy from here unless you are 100% sure you will not have to return it

I have ordered like 7 things at least from ALPAKA and I do like their products. There are things I’d change to some of them but overall they are definitely good quality. One thing that bugs me about the company is how long it takes to arrive. You can order something and it won’t ship for a least a week. Which can be frustrating. For the price you’d think they could grow a bag in a box and ship it fairly quick.. I could be totally wrong but almost all companies I’ve bought through is able to get the product in my hands within a week. But overall I still like the products. Wish they had more hook and loop parts in some of them, also I wish they did more patches and sold patches. Or stickers. Things like that are basically free advertising for them. If you see a sweet backpack with an ALPAKA logo, you know where to look.

WORST COMPANY: Don't ever, please, purchase anything from this company. Find some more decent and trustworthy companies, please. You will be disappointed if you buy from this company.

Just the worst ! DO NOT GIVE TGEM YOUR REAL EMAIL !!!! Nothing you can do will stop their spam after your order & tysts to the point where they even spam you & they actually apologise for doing it !! What a disaster of a scamming pack of scumbags

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND HIDDEN COSTS
Absolutely horrible service , quality and attitude.
I payed 20$ for express expedited delivery, but I had to wait more than three weeks, meanwhile I was told that it’ll take 3-5 business days.
No one told me about hidden fees, but I had to pay extra 70$ for customs and duties and no one told me that package is going from china.
Customer service - what is that ?
Never heard about it.
Waited for ages for an answer from them.
DHL - worst company i can think of.
Left my package somewhere, but not at my house.
In the end - quality of products from Alpaka - 3/10.
Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
Better buy some 5.11 or Maxpedition pouches / bags.

I've ordered from them twice.
The product quality is satisfactory.
My second order got lost and they shipped a replacement which eventually arrived and gave me a coupon for my trouble.

Quality product but does take a bit of time to arrive as I guess it's coming from the US (UK based here!). The tracking service is very clear so you can keep an eye on things. I got the metro sling and couldn't be happier with it. I've been looking for one similar to this for a good while and this was the first one that ticked all the boxes while still looking good with everything.

The product itself appears decent. However, the shipping was extraordinarily slow for 2023. Also there is no company phone number that I found. Email response was 2 days. They also do not price match for sales which is just awful and greedy. I bought a bag and 5 days later it went on sale.

Such a disappointment. I had the surprise today, from DHL, that I must pay a 60 EUR Custom and Duty tax, before getting my package (And i ordered with fast delivery)...
Also, It seems that their products are being delivered from China ... Another "good" surprise ... Don't order, it's not worth it.

Placed an order been 39 days since my order has been shipped out to me. Been told by email it was pre-order, was do to be shipped on the 15th only a label has been created on the 18th. Usps still shows nothing has been picked up from them to be sent to me. Don’t waste your money on this company, buy from a more established brand/company.

Quality and design are excellent. I've ordered several times from them (from pouches to the Elements Backpack) and love their gear. Customer service is great and shipping could be a bit faster but haven't had any issues yet. Love ALPAKA!

I placed an order on 8th December with Alpaka Gear through their website. Expected delivery was 10-16 days. Today is Jan 8th and nothing received. I have sent several courteous chaser emails but no reply. I received a Royal Mail tracking number, however RM inform me that nothing has been dispatched to them (from China). Rarely do I have the misfortune with such things, but my advise is to stay well away from this company.

Avoid!
Terrible support service - did not respond to any email. Instead of the specified 4-7 working days of delivery (payment for express delivery), delivery in 20 days. They charge a tax that is not registered in the iOSS system, and then upon arrival of the parcel, you have to pay this tax again (euro zone) Scammers!

Never received the item that I ordered and Alpaka refused to refund. A lot of "thoughts and prayers" type emails from Alpaka about how they understand my frustration and value me as a customer, but they have done nothing else by way of making it right. I have had to open disputes with my bank and the Better Business Bureau. Save your money and choose a different company.
