IT system need improving
Despite the website saying there was stock of a product, paying for it the email I received an email saying it was out of stock. and they would refund me. i would have much rather waited for new stock. IT system needs to be better

The bottle of Mezcal that I purchased was advertised with a worm, which was the reason for the purchase.
It was disappointing that there was no worm.

Our product description on the website does state: “While Monte Alban has made the difficult decision to exclude the worm from their bottles due to a shortage of agave worms, rest assured that the essence of their mezcal remains unchanged.” It looks like this detail may have been missed at the time of purchase.
This means the producer is no longer including the worm in the bottle, and the product you received is the current standard version of this mezcal.
