The place to go if you are in portobello market for a treasure trove of wines and spirits
I only give a 5 star review if I feel a place deserves it and this place does.
5 for customer service and 5 for the variety of drinks they have.
For smallish shops, for there are two within 5 mins walk of each other, it is a world of wonderful wines and spirits.
It is for people who are looking for that extra special bottle or hard to find item. if they don't have it, they can order it for you.
The staff are always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
The prices are excellent and about what you would find elsewhere even on line.
Note this is not a supermarket so don't expect the average run of the mill items, what they do have is worth it a look and trust me once tasted you will want to go back for more. I know I do.
The best part is, if you ask they may have a bottle to try before you buy which where i found my rum and whiskey of choice.
Give them ago i am sure they will become your go to place for that gem of an item.

Last Minute Cancelled Order
Sadly my order of 48 bottles of Schweppes Soda was cancelled at the last minute as Amathus discovered the items were past their 'sell-by' date.
After very good service previously, very disappointed and left with no immediate suitable options.

Shocking service
Shocking service. Failed delivery in spite of item being "in stock" with delivery date scheduled. The staff at the Bath branch could not have been more unhelpful. They didn't care - made no attempt to resolve and sent us away so they could continue to party. It took so long to resolve - the sender died before delivery so we had to persevere to honour his wish. It took 4 phone calls - I never got a reply to my email. Kudos to William at the Head Office for finally resolving the delivery - he gets the one star! Do not use this company for any significant purchase.

Very helpful and fast
Very helpful and fast. Only slight negative is that they use Royal Mail who won't allow you to give delivery information/instructions unless you download their app - not even after 1st delivery attempt or through website. Other courier services do. (Could be considered discriminatory.)

Never again. Order been in transit for two weeks and all they provide is a tracking number. Nope not good enough.

Don’t buy direct from shop…
No warning on website price in the shop is hugely inflated over the on line price.
Initially contacted to the Brighton shop to ask about availability of a liqueur was told it was in stock to buy immediately. Was not advised to order it for click & collect so I paid £4.30 more than the web price. Unpleasant store staff would not assist
