Scam. I have a contract signed by Louis Gray (737-221-4122) of Amazon Publishing Assistant guaranteeing a full refund of my investment if they fail to produce sales equivalent to or exceeding my fees. They created a web site and Facebook page touting my book. The sales that they produced amounted to less than 10 books. Their efforts create little or no results and they know it.
They are only affiliated with Amazon. com, Inc. to the extent that they offer to set up books with Amazon and Kindle. (Something that any author could do themselves.) They imply that they are Amazon.com, Inc. when you call them. Check their web site or call 512-566-4540 and you will get a smooth sales pitch about all the useless things that they plan to do for you.
When I asked for the refund specified in the contract, they were nowhere to be found. When I sued in small claims court, the court officer could not find them. Originally at 7924 Aspen Highlands in Austin, Texas, they dodged my first attempt by moving to 9310 Metric Blvd., Suite C, Austin, Texas 78758. Again, the court officer could not locate them. I called to ask for a face-to-face interview posing as a new customer and Jessica (a Burnett, Texas number) told me that the only way they conduct business is via internet. When I insisted, she offered a Zoom conference. I received a thank you from Ayelia Networks acknowledging the conversation.
To add insult to injury, they blocked the web site that I own.

This is an extremely deceptive site; they made multiple promises and failed to deliver. I have edited and published about 21 books. I thought I would give Amazon a try. It was a disaster. I have never had a worse experience with an editing team. Although the editors did respond to phone calls and emails. The formatting was a disaster; it was inconsistent throughout the book, and at times it even had page numbers in the middle of paragraphs.
It is worth mentioning that this was a historical book with references and photos, and I believe they really did not know how to format it. Perhaps if you have a very simple product with no references, bibliography, or photos, it may be worth a look. However, if your book has a table of contents, references, photos, or requires an index. Please save yourself the pain and look elsewhere. In my opinion, this was a waste of my money and time. I ended up without a product, certainly not one I want my name on. I finally gave up - chalked it up to a learning experience and moved on.

I wasted several months of my Time by trusting this Company. I’m glad I only made a partial payment. I ended up correcting mistakes they made, resulting in me doing all the work myself. Because my experience with Amazon Publishing Assistance I’m afraid to pay another company. My book has not been published. All in all, you can do this on your own quicker, without the headache and disappointment.
1) Jessica ? Customer Service, Promised to refund my money if didn’t receive the service they promised, but I never got it. She no longer answers my calls.
2) Chad Wilson is not qualified to be a Project Manager and his English is below average.

3) Ted Baker is suppose to their Superior, but it is impossible to contact him.
Warning: Use this company at your own discretion.

This was the worst experience. I purchased their "Most Popular Package" only to end up doing all of the work myself and fixing mistakes they made to my original manuscript. In the end, I ended up working alone with the same manuscript I sent them. All in all, you can do this on your own quicker, without the headache, and for FREEEEEEE!!! I had no idea they were a scam because of their name. They are slow to respond and do a terrible job. Do not use this company.

Two months ago I was in a quandary. The publishing company I was working with to publish my first Book -Thirteen Witnesses, Testimonies on the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ as they Relate to Truth - went out of business, midway in the finalization of printing and at before marketing had begun.
When trying to salvage my situation, I spoke with Ted Baker and Chad Wilson of Amazon Publishing Assistants. Although I was initially skeptical of their ability to help, I decided to give them a try and in about six weeks they successfully reformatted my book and put the hardcover version on line, both of which the previous company did very badly. They have established an Instagram Account for my book, are presently reworking my author's website, and are in final stages of a comprehensive global marketing plan. I now have every confidence that my book will get the exposure it needs to be successful.

Simply follow ALL my Reviews of this company: AMAZON PUBLISHING ASSISTANTS! This will tell you all you need to know about them. Don't waste a cent dealing with them. They are prompt in "SETTING UP" accounts; they play the "AVOIDANCE GAME" when you need therm to correct their...inadequate [service]! Their biggest "Perp" is Dan Martinez.

The "project managers" you deal with are pleasant people, but they will not actually read your book. They will get your book published, but you must do all the editorial work. Yes, you'll get a nice cover, professional layout, etc. You'll get an actual book out of the process, but don't expect help with the content. Most of the books I sold were due to my own contacts, not anything that they did.
Was it worth the money? Not sure. If I write another book, I will go through the amazon kdp process on my own for far less money.

Its been almost 8 months, an STILL NO Replacement books! "Run from these people!"

I shopped around several publishers before choosing Amazon Publishing Assistant. Their pricing was fair and transparent- no hidden fees. What really impressed me was how responsive they were to my questions. I never waited more than a day for a reply, even for small concerns.

They are the best when it comes to creating a bestselling book. They have so many great options when it comes to editing and proofreading your book. I had a great idea about a book and was successful in writing the first draft.

This company does not have the expertise necessary for what they claim they can do. They took more than six months to publish my novel, and all through the process, I had to help them correct the basic steps of even formatting. They did not even know that when you open a published book, the title of the book will be on the right page, not the left. They still have not been able to publish my hardcover edition on IngramSpark or Amazon, or Barnes & Noble. For what they have completed so far, there have been errors, errors, and errors, which I had to help them correct. They refuse to fulfill their contract and return my files, which are the intellectual property of the author. The contract calls for a refund of my payment due to dissatisfaction, which they have not processed.

The publishing team was communicative, kind and professional. I never felt like I was in this alone.
