Amazing software that will change how you run your organization

Ambrook's features and technical support make this some of the best software I have used. I am the finance manager for a non-profit organization and we love Ambrook because of the Enterprise and Funding Source tags. These allow us to separate general funds from grants and restricted donations without the need to have multiple bank accounts. I also do freelance bookkeeping and the software is so easy for my clients and I to keep track of everything and give them actionable data without overwhelming them with complicated functions.
This is my third year using the software and it's great seeing how much they continue to grow and improve the user experience. It's obviously built for agricultural organizations but honestly, it could work for just about any type of commercial business or non-profit.

Overall it is a lot more user friendly…

Overall it is a lot more user friendly than quickbooks and easier to catch on too. One thing they don’t offer is the ability to send out 1099’s to vendors.

Need help with your ag accounting? Use Ambrook!

Ambrook is such an amazing accounting system for agricultural accounting! Easy to use, with quick and helpful responses from the support team. Since Ambrook is still such a new system, there are very small bug fixes that need updated from time to time, but Ambrook is so quick with addressing my concerns and keeping me posted with their progress on fixing the issues. Definitely recommend!

The Customer Service is second to none

The Customer Service is second to none. Anytime I have had a question it is answered quickly. If the person I am talking to doesn't know the answer they seek help from others on the team to ensure my needs are met. I find that very nice and valuable. I get the feeling that Ambrook people really care and want their product to be successful for both them and I.

It makes farm finance so easy

I use Ambrook to keep track of my farm expenses. The support is great and I use the invoicing feature to send my customers invoices. My customers can scan a QR code on the invoice and pay their bill with a credit card.

Lovely Staff

I've enjoyed working with many of the Ambrook staff. They have been so helpful getting our ranch set up on the systems and proactively reach out to ensure we're having a great experience. I would highly recommend Ambrook!

I am totally new to bookkeeping

I am totally new to bookkeeping, and so far my experience with Ambrook has been constructive and educational. They are super easy to get in touch with and are always ready to answer questions. One thing that would help me more personally, would be the ability to make meeting appointments that are longer than just 30 minutes. I'm sure they are super busy all the time, but it seems like they are always in a hurry because they have to get to their next meeting and so I feel rushed and don't really feel as though I glean anything from the meeting.

accountability for both sides. The presenter was very friendly and patient. Had some glitches with the software, but after that, it went well. Even though it took a little bit in the beginning, she navigated us quickly so we could get moving along!!

Simple, intuitive system & helpful people. In 20+ years doing farm book-keeping with competing software, I've never been up to date on my books by January 1, and I've been late on taxes more than once. Last year I switched to Ambrook mid-year, got caught up, closed the books on time, and enjoyed the experience. Results speak for themselves--five stars!

Late in the year switch to new program

I switched in September after my computer with my accounting was destroyed. The input of the year’s data was seamless when the accounts transferred, however older account information was not transferred and I had to upload the information via CSV files. My financial institution kept their statement records as pdf files and I ended up converting them by hand because I would have to purchase a subscription to convert them. It would be convenient to be able to use pdf’s although I do understand it is likely cost prohibitive for the few customers who enter into the program late. I do not recommend switching more than 4 months into your accounting year. The other point I noted was the program will glitch and not automatically update the transaction input during the reconciliation process. It would reload correctly when you close out of the screen and come back in. This program is still far more user friendly than the program I was using. I am looking forward to using it at the beginning of the year and am enjoying the convenience of uploading the receipts on the spot. Overall the program is close to farmer proof for an accounting program and I would recommend it depending on the farms needs.

Worst support experience I’ve had from…

Worst support experience I’ve had from a financial platform.
I’ve sent multiple emails and used their online chat over and over. I’m now two full days stuck with the same issue and have received ZERO responses. No acknowledgment. No troubleshooting. Nothing.
What’s especially infuriating? Their sales team responds instantly when they want your business — but the moment you actually need support, it’s radio silence. That tells you exactly where priorities are.
This is not a minor inconvenience. This is a platform tied to finances, and when something breaks, there is effectively no support.
If you’re thinking about Ambrook, just know this: they’re great at onboarding you — and nonexistent when you need help. That’s unacceptable for any serious business tool.
