Poor experience made great
If you'd of asked me 6 months ago I would have rated Amcare a 1 star. I have been using them for 7 years and for about 5 years all was well. Then something happened and I had nothing but problems - incomplete orders, prescriptions not received from GP, no stock, wrong/incomplete orders, no orders being sent at all, just an absolute nightmare. This made life very difficult and truly upsetting. Being left with no supplies is a sickening feeling, which is why I gave negative feedback to the company outlining all the things that had gone wrong. I then had an email from a member of Amcare, Sharn Collins. Sharn wrote to me and called me, with a promise to correct the negative experience I was having, she agreed they were falling short. Since Sharn has been monitoring my account the difference in the service I receive is second to none. I place my order, I inform Sharn and she ensures it is processed efficiently and if any problems do arise then I am informed. I receive my orders quickly, they are complete and I am happy.
The mental anguish of not knowing whether my order will arrive, be incomplete or even correct items is now a thing of the past. The stress of placing an order has now gone, thanks to the help of Sharn Collins.
When it works well it works well, the products are good and dispatched quickly with no fuss - long may it continue.
Thank you Amcare for correctting a poor customer experience.
A sign of a good company is when they fall short they endeavour to put it right, which is exactly what has happened with me.

Bill Appleton - best product out there
Been with Amcare 18 years + Convatec products i am supplied through Amcare are stoma bags and stoma caps, bags supplied by hospital do not stick and leak, tried other suppliers but then attended a community group where Amcare visited and was given Convatec samples to try and they where great, i wear a 2 peice and i am so greatful to of find you.

Shaun Young is exceptional
I have been dealing with Amcare for some time now on behalf of my elderly Dad. He has numerous health issues including Raynauds Syndrome which makes it tricky for him with his stoma daily. My Mum passed a couple of years ago which further undermined his self confidence.
Amcare have been nothing short of delightful in helping us with any issue we have. Shaun is helpful, friendly and caring. He always contacts us when he’s asked and any company would be lucky to have this person in their employ.

High praise for Sharon Lowe
I contacted Amcare back in November on behalf of my Mum, who was having some issues with her orders. How lucky was I that I spoke to Sharon Lowe. She listened and took on board the issues and got them resolved. Not only that, she went above and beyond to check that my Mum's order was correct and contacted me to let me know. I cannot praise Sharon highly enough. Her efforts have meant that Mum is no longer stressed and her orders are being delivered on time and are correct.
