ATI was quirky but innovative; AMD hurt ATI: for instance, 'Catalyst' now replaced by 'Adrenaline', that in, for instance, given the option to have applications choose a game' s anti-aliasing, only the driver can choose the method for antialiasing -- similar such 'do nothing, go nowhere', 'options' appear since AMD. I miss 'Radeon Tweaker', I remember well!
Nvidia's a monopoly, much like Microsoft; but Nvidia is also BETTER, and has more real options and settings in their settings and panel.
I miss the old ATI, that again was more innovative, also did not cater to other technology, and had their own way to innovate and handle graphics; compatible, but of their own innovation and coding: Now they cater to standards set by Nvidia, and poorly.
Until someone comes up with better competition, get Nvidia; like most use Microsoft, but sometimes run Linux and Apple PCs on a spare system.

Really terrible support service

Really terrible support service, denied a 50$ reward after purchasing a 1300$ dollars worth of product. Wild. Can't imagine if I had to deal with them and the product itself was defective or something.

CPU in my computer broken prongs.

Tell me why the prongs to my cpu are bent???? Looks like it was forced in, left hanging off. Paid alot of money for the computer only to have to pay more because they can’t be careful with their parts. 14 bent pins.

Aren´t you ashamed "AMD"

Aren´t you ashamed "AMD", your cripple cpu "9800x3d" has severe issues starting games or opening "this pc / worplace" (where you access all the drives) if you have some pics opened, you have to close one of them then maybe it starts again (if you´re lucky) . Sometimes it does this even if no pics are opened, but always after 1-2 days uptime. What is this? A cpu that can´t handle some pictures? Never had such BS with Intel!!!

Not again

1 star to leave a review is ridicules, i still have an open ticket since February this year because there fan has failed on my Ryzen 7 i was fixing to buy a new one to replace it and seen it was still under warranty under my NewEgg order history.... 2 months later im still being run threw the ringer to get a replacement i have sent proof of purchase, sys info, DXdiag info and a video showing me hitting my case to kick start the fan and they still requesting me install their software for information and requesting a Screenshot of the CPU and SN for further support

If you like torture yourself then buy an amd graphics card if you change 1 thing in the settings you better have an youtube video on your phone that says how to fix ..., please saveup some more money and do not purchase anything from this company i personally dont reccomend this to my worst enemy :). Please AMD change everything and maybe people would like you more. IM WRITING THIS AT 2 AM BECAUSE AMD IS THE BEST COMPANY.

Not so happy with AMD Service

The responses I received felt cold and dismissive, as if my situation wasn’t being taken seriously. There was little empathy or willingness to look into the specifics of my case. Instead, I was repeatedly referred back to general terms and conditions without any real effort to help.

I purchased a GPU during the Crimson Desert promotion period but never received a code, even though the retailer was listed as a participant. Both sides kept pointing to each other, which made the situation unnecessarily frustrating.

In the end, the retailer did offer compensation, which I appreciate. However, as a first-time AMD user, this experience left a poor first impression. I expected better support and clearer communication.

STAY AWAY STAY AWAY FROM AMD ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS!!!. DO NOT GO THE CHEAP ROUTE PLS SAVE YOURSELF AND GO WITH NVIDIA BOTH GPU AND CPU. I wasted 900$ on a rx7900xt when it first came out. CONSTANT crashes, constant bugs, constant freezes. AMD email and support DO NOT RESPOND. its been a year with this GPU and it spends more time fixing/updating drivers than actual gaming. I would have been better off throwing 900$ down the toilet. I wish wouldnt wish my worst enemy with a AMD GPU. 0/10 will never purchase anything from them ever again!!!!!

I bought my product just 32 days before a promo went live, and despite that timing, there was zero flexibility or support from AMD or the retailer. You’re either inside the exact promo window or you get nothing — no exceptions.
What makes it worse is that these promotions are typically planned well in advance (often weeks or even months), yet customers get no warning at all. That kind of rigid system makes for a pretty poor customer experience.
Other platforms like Steam (Valve) handle customers far better when it comes to support and goodwill.
Definitely something to keep in mind before

AMD Bug Report Tool

Je n’en peux plus de cette fenêtre « AMD Bug Report Tool ». Je jure que c’est la dernière fois que j’achète du matériel AMD. J’ai pourtant tout essayé : mise à jour de tous les pilotes, nettoyage complet des drivers… et malgré ça, cette foutue fenêtre continue de faire planter mes jeux.

Pire encore, elle apparaît maintenant même quand je navigue sur Chrome. Je ne peux même plus utiliser l’Instant Replay dans Adrenalin Edition, car à chaque fois, ça me fait systématiquement apparaître cette fenêtre.

DO NOT USE AMD BILLING

We love the EHR software but this review is for the billing. I am a new office manager to my current practice. I started a year ago and learned when I started that my practice uses AMD for billing. I am writing this review to warn other practices. It is AMD's policy to write off patient receivable greater than 120 days. My physicians had no idea they were writing off their money. Once I learned this we asked AMD billing to stop writing off our doctor's money and they said sorry, it is against their policy. If patients come to the office every 6 months, the money they owe us is written off before they come in again which is often when we can collect the slow payers. This is not in the best interest of the medical practices but makes their billing service look like it is doing a great job. And then to make injury worse, they are now charging us $2,500 a month as a billing penalty bc we do not use them for billing. That is 30k a year just to use the billing module in their software. The billing service was not great to begin with, then to learn they write off everything greater than 120 days???? Now we have to pay 2500 just to be able to do billing ourselves.

AMD or Nvidia, which to choose... Nvidia all day!

I have always had Nvidia graphics cards, but for the price and performance I opted for the AMD RX7900 XT a year ago and for the most part, I had a mixed performance. Now, it's almost always unstable and not because of the card itself. The software is the jankiest piece of crap you'll ever come across. Game/app not working because of latest update? Don't worry, in about 3 weeks we'll get it working again... Driver out of date? Don't worry, we'll make yours unusable so that you need to completely reinstall the driver manually as the AMD software detection is down, and you'll lose all of those precious settings you spent a few hours tweaking to make your screen look all pretty... If you think it's worth saving £100 for a better graphics card, don't bother. Nvidia are far far better in the software department, and you won't realise how important that is until you experience this shambles of a company!

Sono stato system builder, ho montato oltre 500 computer con CPU and e non ho mai avuto un problema, cosa che con Intel non mi è successo, con Intel ho avuto diversi problemi.

Hatte nur Probleme mit meiner Grafikkarte die einfach seit ich sie habe in manchen Spielen kein Bock hat FPS zu generieren. Das Programm hat bei mir ebenfalls viele Probleme verursacht und hat sich heute bei einem Treiber Update selbst deinstalliert 🤣🤣. Nach dem Neustart war das Programm und alle meine Aufnahmen einfach weg. Es crasht dauernd und Fehler werden halbwegs erkannt aber nie Lösungen gegeben

software isat müll - erkennt nur 400mb speicher statt 3TB freien speicher- die grafikkarte ist ebenso müll und nvidia um längen besser - ein 700€ laptop mit nvidia ist 100x besssr aals ne rx7800xt schrott

AMD is an evil company and they sent their young team to jump me after I voiced my personal opinions on the company. I have been jumped multiple times now by said AMD young team and I will not be wasting my money on this rubbish company ever again.

Ich habe mir leider eine AMD…

Ich habe mir leider eine AMD Grafikkarte gekauft. Leider ist die zugehörige Software so schlecht, dass ich sie eher als störend empfinde. Die Software hat jetzt schon mehrfach die Software-Einstellungen geändert. Z.B. habe ich AMD Frame-Generierung grundsätzlich ausgeschaltet, weil das zu rucklern in meinen Spielen führt. Die AMD Software ändert diese Einstellung immer wieder, und es nervt einfach so ungemein. Ich habe mich letztendlich dazu entschieden meine AMD Grafikkarte zurückzugeben und habe mir eine Grafikkarte von einem anderen Hersteller gekauft. Alles läuft einwandfrei, das war eine gute Entscheidung. Ich kann von AMD nur dringend abraten!!!!!
