sehr gut! Die Beratung und Unterstützung auch für die Abgabe der Staatsbürgerschaft war zutreffend und gab mir die notwendigen Informationen und Sicherheit im Vorgehen. Die Abgabe der Staatsbürgerschaft hat dann auch reibungslos funktioniert. Jetzt ist gerade meine letzte Steuererklärung abgegeben! Ein Prozess über 1-2 Jahre alles in allem… und es stimmt für mich!!

4.5 Sterne für Americans & Expats Overseas
Ich reiche seit einigen Jahren meine US Steuer mit Hilfe von Americans & Expats Overseas ein und bin sehr zufrieden. Das Erfassungstool, um die Unterlagen hochzuladend ist intuitiv und einfach. Die Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeitern klappt (fast) ohne Probleme. Die Steuerunterlagen werden nach Eingabe aller Daten innerhalb einiger Tage erstellt, so dass sie fristgerecht eingereicht werden können. Nur bei Problemen mit dem IRS ist die Firma wenig hilfreich. Hier wäre eine direkter Kontakt mit einem US Tax Advisor hilfreich, der einen bei der Kommunikation mit dem IRS unterstützt. Deswegen vergebe ich "nur" 4.5 statt 5 Sterne.

Natasja Niezen was my contact and she was very kind and helpful. She always responded immediately to my questions. The finished work was fast, so I was happy and I have no complaints with that.
My only problem is that I have memory issues and have a difficult time using a computer for anything complicated. The process of scanning, downloading and uploading was not possible for me and I had to get help from my daughter (who couldn't simply explain how to do it!) when she was free. At the end Natasja helped me with that as well. I wish there was a second way to submit the information to you and that would be through the mail or FedEx.

-Steuererklärung wegen GreenCard: Kein Problem mit Americans Overseas
Meine Frau und ich sind im Besitz der GreenCard, aber dauerhaft nach Deutschland zurückgekehrt. Bei den damit verbundenen steuerlichen Pflichten in den USA hat uns das Team von Americans Overseas vom ersten Kontakt an bis zur finalen US-Steuererklärung unterstützt.
Egal welche Fragen wir hatten, innerhalb kürzester Zeit erhielten wir kompetente Rückmeldungen.
Alle Ansprechpartner haben sich absolut professionell und kundenorientiert verhalten und waren uns im gesamten Procedere eine echte Unterstützung.
Das elektronische Erfassungssystem ist umfangreich aber sehr übersichtlich und leicht zu bedienen.

Erste Erfahrungen
Ich stehe noch am Anfang des Ganzen Prozesses und kann bis jetzt nur die bisher erfolgte Kommunikation und das Erstgespräch beurteilen.
Die Kommunikation per Email und telefonisch klappte sehr gut und war durchwegs positiv. Das nun erfolgte Erstgespräch war eigentlich auf 20 min. festgelegt. Jedoch war es dann doppelt so lange. Es wurde alles gut erklärt und alle meine Fragen wurden kompetent beantwortet. Kurze Gesprächszusammenfassung und Angebot wurden im Anschluss sehr schnell per Email übermittelt. Ich melde mich dann mit einem weiteren Erfahrungsbericht, wenn es Neues bei mir gibt.

Selling tax preparation services seems to be the main objective
I contacted Americans Overseas for a specific question/topic. I had a call with someone which was informational, but I feel that the only objective or interest was to sell me tax preparation services. While this can be useful for some, and maybe even for me this wasn’t the reason I engaged.
