Just like a butcher who puts his thumb on the scale or a used car dealer that rolls back the odometer, Amazon is engaging in similar unscrupulous bait-and-switch activities. Advertising products as new, only to ship inventory that is already two years old, is a violation of the implied warranty of merchantability under NY UCC § 2-314 and constitutes deceptive trade practices. I received two separate deliveries of 24 AAA PowerMax batteries, and both packages arrived two years past their manufacture date.
Alkaline batteries that are two years old have only 80% of their 10-year guaranteed shelf life remaining and are considerably less powerful than fresh ones as they age. Always check manufacture dates.
If you fall victim to this scam, exercise your rights by posting similar reviews, disputing charges with your bank, and reporting these illegal acts to your state’s Attorney General’s Consumer Frauds Bureau.
As a journalist with over 50 years of experience and an Amazon Prime member for over a decade, it is my duty to report that I no longer trust Amazon. They encourage and conspire with sleazy vendors who foist old merchandise as new, prioritizing those ill-gotten revenues over their responsibility to their customers.

The parcel was dumped on our doorstep
Fortunately we were as they knocked on the door n ran away
I hurried after the driver and asked why he’d dumped the parcel on the doorstep n not handed it to me. He said the instructions we had given was”leave on doorstep or in porch”
We don’t have a porch n would never have given instructions to leave on the doorstep. Not that stupid
He said he’d had many identical complaints like mine today. So is that trying to sidestep matters or a technical glitch
Whatever… its bad service n does not constitute legal delivery
I think they switch all instructions to doorstep so they can avoid liability if the item is stolen

Ordered Funkos at amazon US 2 times !! after 6 weeks no dispatched at all no info but money taken at order! so I had to investigate! excuses over excuses! system error, telling me fake deliver dates, then it wasnt available even when it was availble and still is! No I reordered on suport advice and tada same issiu and same problems and same excuses! amazon global takes time, not in stock, low in stock, customs even if it wasnt even dispatched lol so they give us deliver dates when we order. then change them to 2-3 weeks later directly after payment just to not move a bit untill that day. then we have to investigate to get excuses !! stupid excuses no-one believes! It's a JOKE! and its not even the only order! all orders take now up to 2 month after at buying it is being said 10 days lol even the simply INK or a smart bulb takes 4 weeks delivery wtf unprofessional, incompetent and lies!

I have been with Amazon for years. If I have a problem, I go to the right Department & it gets resolved. Their quick delivery options and Whole Foods connection is a Godsend!
