Hi Bec, I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your support. I will definitely be recommending Amicable (and you!). I can't think of anything worse than having two separate solicitors represent us. It was so good (even if painful) that my husband and I were able to work together on this. You made the process a lot more manageable, and you really understood our situation.

Divorce is not an easy thing to go through but it is much easier if you can do it amicably, especially when you have children together. I found this company whilst searching for something that would work for not just me but my now ex husband too. Our case worker Shreepali was excellent her knowledge and ability to handled everything so smoothly made a difficult process much easier, she guided both of us along the way and we are now both in a much better happier place.

Dan Martinez was a steady hand and showed great empathy towards us both. There is no 'perfect' outcome in these situations and Dan managed to remain understanding yet neutral in our negotiations while making sure the process continued to move forward.

Emma Bennett was our Amicable representative. She was very supportive and was always there to help us. She put no pressure on us but helped us to make informed decisions. It was a fixed fee but she stayed with us even when the consent order was refused by the judge the first time and supported us through it till it was all agreed. I would definitely recommend Amicable.

The service we received in a potentially difficult time was friendly, prompt, clear and measured. My experience with amicable was excellent in most respects. The website is clearly laid out and easy to use. Amicable took care of all the paperwork and the submissions of documents to the court. It would otherwise have been very difficult. The non-adversarial approach was of great importance to me and my ex-wife because we wished the process to be as non-confrontational as possible. The name of the company ‘Amicable’ is a good indication of the approach used.


My only criticism concerns timing. It was an unfortunate coincidence that the date on which it was possible to apply for the final order fell on my ex-wife’s birthday. We both stressed the importance of avoiding a communication on her birthday but it happened anyway. This marred what would otherwise have been an impeccable service. If this is the result of inflexible software the system should be modified.

After raising 5 children and sharing 45 years of marriage, thanks to amicable, we’re looking forward to a bright future living separately.

This is a cost-effective way to achieve a legally checked, smooth, and safe clean break - if you can communicate amicably with your ex-partner. There's a reason why they're your "ex", and divorcing will never be easy, but I am pleased that we chose amicable to help us get through it. After a couple
of sessions with Rebecca Jones we were clear on what was required. She helped us make small steps forward that lead to an acceptable outcome for us both. I was grateful for her impartial and professional guidance.

Amicable made the divorce process very simple to go through. We were really pleased with the service. Didn’t feel like we were getting a “cheap” service at all.

The negotiated services was really worth getting despite our relative simple circumstances (no children to deal with) and helped us a lot to settle our finances. Very clear and honest guidance in the middle of a troubled time. Prompt and responsive no complaints. I’m only giving 4 stars as we had some uncertainty about the payment display on the portal and them unnecessarily adding another name onto the invoice otherwise process smooth and successful outcome as anticipated. I hope I never need their services again but if I did I’d come straight back ofcourse

They dealt with everything for me and went through every stage so I understood what was going on. It was stress free and easy. If I did not understand all I had to do was contact pip or someone at the office

Bec was so knowledgeable and empathetic but, in particular, she was really fair and represented us both really even-handedly. There were aspects of my divorce that I didn’t feel were fair going into the process but she helped me understand the legal system and what district judges are looking for, so I left the process feeling I’d had a fair outcome, including accepting the part I didn’t initially expect to feel was fair.

Amicable were highly professional, understanding, supportive and helped keep things calm throughout the process. Shreepali was brilliant from the first contact until the last call.
