Regulator ignores complaint about unenforced responsible gambling breach
I filed a formal complaint with Anjouan Gaming on 22 June 2026 against Forzabet Casino (forzabet.live), a licensee operating under their authority. The complaint concerned a serious responsible gambling breach: I had explicitly requested self-exclusion due to gambling addiction, as well as a deposit limit, both of which were ignored by the operator. My account was never closed, allowing me to continue depositing and losing a total of €623 after my initial self-exclusion request.
Anjouan Gaming acknowledged the complaint and forwarded it to the operator, requesting a status update within the same thread. I followed up on 11 July 2026 when no response had been received. I followed up again in early August 2026, more than seven weeks after my original complaint.
To date, I have received no substantive response whatsoever — not from the operator, and not from Anjouan Gaming itself, despite the regulator having been directly asked to confirm whether the operator had even responded to them.
This experience matches what I have since read in numerous other reviews of this regulator: complaints are acknowledged but never substantively followed up on, operators face no visible consequences for ignoring responsible gambling obligations, and the regulator explicitly states it will not correspond with players on the merits of individual cases — leaving players with nowhere to turn when a licensed operator simply stops responding.
A licensing body that cannot or will not enforce its own responsible gambling requirements against operators under its authority provides no meaningful protection to players, particularly those disclosing a gambling addiction.
