Hi Claire,
Thank you for raising this. After reviewing your booking, we can confirm that the issues you’ve mentioned were identified during the service and clearly explained to you at the time. A full quotation was provided to repair the faults, but this was declined, which meant our engineer was unable to carry out the necessary work.
It has now been almost seven weeks since our visit, and this is the first time we are being informed of any further problems. Had this been reported at the time of visit or shortly after, we could have addressed it immediately.
A quotation for the leak repairs was sent to you but was never accepted, and therefore no follow-on work was authorised.
If you would like us to attend again, please contact our customer service team so we can arrange this appropriately.

Hassam was Ace
Hassam was so polite and efficient. He had to clean the filters in the Boiler and I couldn’t believe how dirty they were!! He did an absolutely splendid job and cleaned up after. I would highly recommend Any Gas Service, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Hassam

The engineer (Raj Basi) who came was very professional and that gave me confidence that he's doing a good job. Raj took his time to look at the boiler properly as well as the water tank.

Would not use again
I don't like leaving bad reviews, but...
I booked as they were reasonably priced and had good reviews. I chose an afternoon booking (1-6pm) - (UPDATE - checked on website, definitely states from 1pm, can’t upload screenshot), so I only needed to book half a day off work. When I got my 2-hour time slot the day before, it was from 12-2pm, and the website said I couldn't rearrange, so I had to book the entire day off. On the day, I got a call from the engineer at 10.30am, saying he would be with me in 20 minutes!
The engineer was friendly, and the service went OK, until he was leaving and informed me he'd broken a hinge on the boiler, and they would charge me £70 to fix it (it's a £7 part from Screwfix), or I could contact Worcester and go through my warranty as it was 'wear and tear' (UPDATE - boiler is only 5 years old, no issues with clip previously)...
I checked the boiler after he had left, and the system pressure was on 0, so I assume he also hadn't bothered to re-pressurise it.
Would not use again.

Thank you for your feedback. This is actually the first we’ve heard of this issue — we would always encourage customers to contact us directly so we can resolve any concerns promptly.
Our appointment time slots are either 8am–1pm or 12pm–6pm. In this case, the slot selected at the time of booking was 12pm–6pm, and the allocated two-hour arrival window provided was 12pm–2pm.
From time to time, our engineers may run ahead of schedule and will call ahead as a courtesy to check whether an earlier visit would be convenient. You are, of course, under no obligation to accept an earlier time, and you’re always welcome to ask the engineer to arrive within your originally booked slot.
This call is simply made to offer flexibility when possible, not to alter your confirmed booking window.
Regarding the boiler hinge, the parts you’re referring to are Worcester’s Left-Hand and Right-Hand Clip Hinges. These components are made of plastic and, over time, tend to become brittle, which makes them prone to breaking — a common case of general wear and tear. On inspection, one hinge was found to be damaged.
You are, of course, welcome to have this independently checked by Worcester for a second opinion. When replacing these clips, we always change both hinges together to ensure proper alignment and longevity. Our quoted price of £69.99 includes the cost of parts, labour, collection, and the engineer’s return visit to fit them.

You’re more than welcome to source the parts yourself , but please note that our standard engineer call-out charge would still apply for fitting, as we do not insure your boiler under any plans.
Requested a boiler service and dont…
Requested a boiler service and dont know what the engineer did after 5 days the boiler stopped working. On the day of service was told its all fine no issues and if any issues just switch on and off. Disappointed. Wasted my money and time and now going to be wasting more. Would have been better off with out the service from them. No evidence of service provided such as the checklist summary etc. Logged a complaint which the manager of the area refused to take ownership of as kept talking about car mots and gave me a headache. I would not recommend.Company is a fraud. They lie and are not professional. The lady on the phone abused me. I dont think of these rates are true either. I have evidence so will try and upload but guys dont use this company its a fraud and unprofessional. Use if you want to be abused and have your boiler damaged.

we would like to clarify the circumstances on our end.
You booked us to attend for both a boiler service and a quotation for a new boiler. On arrival, our engineer carried out the service on your existing boiler, which is over 25 years old, with many obsolete parts. During the visit, you also informed our engineer that you had been experiencing pre-existing issues where the boiler would intermittently fail to fire up.
Because of these concerns, we advised you on the benefits of replacing your boiler, as well as servicing your current system. We also explained that to properly investigate and diagnose the intermittent fault, a separate diagnostic visit would be required at our standard charge of £69.99. You declined this option.
The service itself was completed, and your boiler continued working for 5 days after the appointment before your previous intermittent issue reoccurred. We made it clear that a diagnostic investigation would still be required to identify and resolve the underlying fault, but again this was declined.
We also wish to note that during a phone call with our team, inappropriate language was used towards a colleague, which we do not consider acceptable, calling our call centre colleague a B**** was by no means acceptable, and aggressive behaviour.
To summarise:
The service was completed as booked.
The boiler had known, pre-existing faults, which we advised on.
A diagnostic visit (chargeable) was offered to resolve the issue but refused.
A quotation for a new boiler was provided as requested.
While we understand your frustration, we feel it is important for others to know that we provided the service booked and requested, gave clear advice on the boiler’s condition, and explained the costs involved for further investigation. This case was investigated by our Ops manager and was successfully closed down. We must emphasis "Our aim is always to provide the highest standards of customer care. At the same time, we must also ensure there is a clear distinction between the service we provide and any separate faults requiring further investigation or repair."
