We rent houses everywhere in the world and this was one of our best stays. Its a gorgeous house in the heart of Puglia. It is beautifully modern, yet traditional. Its an amazing place to relax by the gorgeous pool and amazing garden! We had a few sweet grapes to taste as they were hanging over the entrance. The garden was so beautifully designed as it fits perfectly with the surrounding. Its a great quiet place to read, meditate, stretch and lounge by the pool. It is super centric and you are super close to so many villages and towns to visit in the heart of Puglia. We would leave every morning and go to Adua in the heart of Martina Franca (10 min away) and then start touring a town or a place. Come back in the afternoon for some pool and relax time and then head out to dinner. The house offers an incredible in home dining experience that unfortunately, we had no time to experience. We will come back next year to this magical place to continue our Puglia adventures. Could not ask for more, it was just perfect!!!

Easy elegance and luxury with a casual Puglia vibe.
The pool was absolutely perfect with multiple seating areas to relax, gather and take in the stunning views.
In the evenings the exterior lighting was absolutely stunning.
There were spots around the property to sit and take in the beauty.
The bedrooms were lovely like a boutique hotel. They were well appointed with lovely linens and comfortable beds!
The bathrooms were spotless - well designed and aesthetically beautiful.
Complete kitchens provided in the Trullo, the lamia and the pool area.
The decor was pure Puglia echoing the artisans of the area - I loved the ceramics so much.
Perfect location - close to Martina Franca and Cisternino and so many other cute towns.
We enjoyed an incredible dinner at the Trullo.
Bianca organized and served an elegant poolside dinner. It was prepared by a lovely Puglianese chef and we dined on authentic and delicious Puglian dishes from the Itria Valley. This dining experience at the Trullo is a MUST. The best meal of our trip.

During our stay, we needed a birthday cake. Thanks to Francesco, he provided us with 2 bakery options within an hour of our asking. They were open on a Sunday afternoon and we successfully purchased a delicious and beautiful birthday cake from a bakery that we would have never found without Francesco's help.
The attention to detail and friendly service made our visit fabulous!

Donatello’s Apuliaria is a magical home. The attention to detail is akin to staying in a luxury boutique hotel with all the comforts and ease of a beautiful home. From the moment you go up the private driveway you are transported to a countryside oasis. The trullo and lamia are well layed out and we enjoyed our morning coffee and cooking in the lamia and sleeping in the trullo. There are small delights everywhere from the soft lush linen to the beautiful hand painted italian crockery to the outdoor speakers around the pool area. Martina Franca is a great area with lots of high quality restaurants and a good hub from which to explore puglia if you can pull yourself away from long sunny days relaxing around the pool. Carmela, Francesco and Donatello work as a great team to ensure your every comfort and organised special experiences they recommended from their vast local knowledge and contacts. Our family had a week to remember and can’t recommend highly enough.

We had a fabulous stay at Trullo Ciliegio this past week. Donatello the owner was excellent at communicating and sent a thorough and detailed guide for the surrounding areas which was very helpful. The “guest angels” Carmela and Francesco were our inPulgia service team and helped us check in, offered additional services and were available to answer any questions or needs promptly. The Trullo was gorgeous, clean, comfortable and the perfect place to disconnect. We also enjoyed many days in the pool! We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon!

Exceptional Escape! - The trulli boasts a superb location perfect for exploring nearby towns. Its luxurious and unique design, coupled with a refreshing pool, makes it a standout choice. The extensive and useful pre-arrival information provided, from the attentive owner, was greatly appreciated. The ability to use fresh produce from the garden added a delightful touch. With a comfortable living space ideal for a relaxing family getaway and a secluded setting ensuring privacy, it truly offers a great experience. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor speaker and kitchen, which enhanced our stay, and the pizza oven further contributed to making our visit memorable. We hope to return!

One of the best Airbnb's I've ever stayed in, in any country. It was surprisingly better than we expected, with a large allotment that was producing a range of produce for us to use throughout our stay, and an abundance of fruits trees.
The place itself was Beautiful, stylish and luxurious without feeling too crazy, three of the bedrooms were in the range of impressive to impressive with another space or two that could be used for further guests.
The pool was the heartbeat, any day we did spend at the villa was there, it's a great size, not heated which was actually really nice to balance out the hot weather, beautiful wrap around garden, an outdoor speaker system and the outdoor kitchen. You have everything you need, including a couple of outdoor ballgames which was fun to create our own games to break up the relaxing time.
The location was amazing, quiet and secluded, you didn't feel intruded upon or intrusive to others, but in amazing driving distances to everything around you.

Donatello's home is such a lovely find and truly better than in the pictures. We spent a week here and the setup was so ideal for our group - 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 kids - such that everyone felt they had their own space. The property itself is quite large and we loved having the fresh garden to pick from. The kids ate the mini strawberries in the courtyard daily. The place was well equipped between the three kitchens, although we primarily used the outdoor as we spent most of our time around the pool. My only feedback on the setup would be that some kid friendly plastic dishes might be helpful as we were worried our young kids would break the beautiful Puglian ceramics!
The luxury of this stay was really centered around the concierge service provided. Our 'angel', Valentina, literally made the trip. She was incredibly responsive and helpful before and during our stay. From arranging taxis and in-home chefs to giving local recommendations, she really was our guardian angel!

We have just returned to the UK from a wonderful stay at the beautiful Trullo Ciliegio. The house has been stunningly renovated, with attention to all the fine details. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all gorgeous. Beautiful gardens and views across the valley. Pool and outside cooking areas were amazing. Outside and inside lighting was brilliant. The villa is perfectly situated in the heart of the Valle d’Itria giving very easy access to stunning hilltop towns. Villa owner and host were also first class and so very helpful. Thoroughly recommend a stay at this stunning property. Can’t wait to go back.

Consider your search over - this is the perfect place. It smells like a spa, and the trulli are immaculately restored to keep all the charm plus added modern luxuries. Everything is even more lovely than in the pictures, but what really makes this property (and I assume the other houses managed by Apuliaria) special is the hospitality and the extra services offered (i.e. private chef, massages, exercise classes). We had two meals prepared and served at the house by Bianca and her parents, which were major highlights of the trip. Get the seafood dinner AND the panzerotti/ mozzarella! Antonio was extremely accommodating and responsive and provided great local recommendations. Just a note that you definitely need a car to explore the local towns and beaches. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We spent a wonderful 12 days here in August.
It is an amazing property - even better than the photos. Absolutely stunning buildings. Interiors are impeccably finished to a high standard and are very comfortable, clean and cool.
The real highlights for us were the beautiful surrounds, bountiful vegetable gardens, outdoor kitchen (we had BBQ fish or made pizzas most days), pool area and saltwater pool (only slightly salty and fab not to have to worry about the chemicals).
The location is excellent for visiting the local towns and villages - Alberabello, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Ostuni and Martina Franca old town all different and worth exploring.
Antonio and Donatello were exceptional hosts - great local intel, very responsive and helpful - they went above and beyond.
There are plenty of reasons the property has only received 5 star reviews. If you’re thinking of booking - go for it, you won’t regret it.

Abbiamo alloggiato presso questa struttura con i nostri bambini di 2 e 3 anni. La location è curata nei minimi dettagli e molto lussuosa pur rimanendo caratteristica.
La cucina del trullo é perfettamente accessoriata con ogni tipo di elettrodomestico (microonde, lavatrice etc) e ci é stato inoltre fornito il lettino da campeggio.
I nostri figli si sono divertiti tantissimo a giocare all'aperto in piscina, all'ombra della quercia centrale e a esplorare l'orto. Nonostante le giornate calde abbiamo sempre trovato un venticello molto piacevole.

The photos on Airbnb do not do the Trullo justice, it is beautifully appointed and furnished and was spotlessly clean. It has a truly rustic feel and appearance and yet has every modern convenience available. (We stayed in the July 2023 heatwave and were very appreciative of the air-conditioning and the pool). The pool and pool area are stunning, mostly constructed from the local limestone and the pool is much larger than most we have experienced in other villas. There are cooking facilities, a BBQ, sink, dishwasher, large fridge, dining area and even a a large wood fired pizza oven, all adjacent to the pool. There is also a raised seating area with a table nestled among natural stone. The gardens are full of prickly pears, rosemary and lavender, which in the early morning are covered in butterflies. The location, in the Itria Valley, is very scenic, private and peaceful. Antonio, our Guest Angel, and Donatello the owner were both extremely helpful and friendly. Perfection in Puglia.

We spent a week in Puglia at this dreamy trullo. A perfect spot for two mother daughter families. The property is spectacular, the service wonderful and the location is fantastic. It’s so easy to get around to the various towns but also lovely to spend the day by the pool perched at the top of a hill with beautiful views. We will be back and highly recommend this rental home.

We stayed in Trullo Ciliegio for five nights in June with our two kids and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The trullo itself was lovely, but the yard and pool and space was extraordinary. It was so peaceful and a wonderful place to return after a day of sightseeing. You are only a few minutes by far from Martina Franca and all of its great restaurants and you’re in great location for visiting Ostuni and Alberobello along with all of the masserias. The host was very responsive and we would love to come back again.

The stay at the trulli was a great experience. Traditional architecture combine with modern amenities made our stay pleasant and comfortable. Specious area outside with veggie garden, awesome pool and barbecue place are undoubtedly huge advantages. Extra surprise for us was the sound system by the pool which made our time even more insane. I recommend this place to holiday rest. Worth to add that our guest angel Antonio was very helpful and made out stay very smooth and easy.

Look no further. There is no way you can improve upon this beautiful place. From arrival to checkout, everything was divine. It’s extremely well-appointed, with everything right where you want it (well-stocked kitchen(S), bathroom amenities, ACs, etc), minimally but beautifully designed in a way that highlights the architecture, and very very peaceful with nothing but the breeze and the birds to listen to. Our family created lasting memories eating dinner, playing cards, and foosball by the pool, not to mention the day trips to fascinating and stunning towns in Apulia. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, the hosts, Antonio and Donatello, were exceedingly kind and helpful and gave great guidance. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Antonio was so helpful to us. He stocked the fridge with groceries and wine and helped us with reservations and recommendations in the are. And he helped us rent a car and organize a driver to get us back to Naples. He and Donatello were always responsive! We loved our time at the house! It was beautiful and peaceful. Glad we found this quiet little gem! The vegetable gardens are amazing. … and lastly you must have the chef/family team come to cook a local meal for you. It was our favorite thing. They were so wonderful and kind. Home cooking when you are away is a dream … all we missed were our doggies. I highly recommend this house. A beautiful experience!

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in questi magnifici trulli finemente ristrutturati ed è stato bellissimo. Ci siamo goduti la vita all’aperto a bordo piscina immersi nella natura ma anche gli spazi interni molto curati durante la sera primaverile.

La villa ha tutti i confort possibili (lavastoviglie sia all’interno che all’esterno..) con una cucina esterna vista piscina per cucinare all’aria aperta e grigliare carne locale. C’è anche un forno a legna per le pizze che purtroppo non abbiamo utilizzato.

La posizione è strategica per raggiungere tutte le cittadine della Valle d’Itria e la bellissima costa adriatica dì Savelletri. Grazie ai consigli del proprietario (sia molto pratici come supermercati dove fare la spesa che ricercati come ottimi ristoranti locali e stabilimenti balneari adatti ai bambini) abbiamo trascorso una vacanza pianificata ma spensierata.

Per essere una prima vacanza con bambino sarà dura da battere.. estremamente consigliato!

Una settimana in paradiso: un trullo antico ristrutturato in maniera autentica con ogni comfort. Circondato dal verde, con piscina dove abbiamo fatto lezione di yoga al tramonto; zona barbecue dove abbiamo fatto grigliate con uno chef locale che ci ha preparato le famose bombette. Super consigliato per amici o famiglia con bimbi avendo tanto spazio all’aria aperta. Location strategica per raggiungere i posti più belli della Valle d’Itria. L’host sempre disponibile per suggerimenti nella zona. Insomma, non vediamo l’ora di tornare in estate!

Una cura per i dettagli incredibile da tutta la parte degli interni, moderni ed eleganti, alla parte esterna con piscina lettini e zona barbecue.
Abbiamo soggiornato qui per qualche giorno ed e stato veramente rilassante.
Il posto e silenzioso, con vista sul verde. Perfetto per dei bambini e per godersi il clima vacanziero.
Come logistica è perfetto per arrivare velocemente nelle spiagge più belle e per prendersi un aperitivo nella magnifica Ostuni !
Torneremo sicuramente !!
