Ordered a Half-Banded Spiny Eel

Very satisfying order, delivery arrived 3 hours earlier than expected which was a pleasant surprise. Stock in perfect health and ate the day after being added to the tank (Eels normally go a week or two without eating while setting). Came in a really good size which was roughly 3 inches and packed really safely, double bagged and had heat packs.

I would recommend this company, my puffer was perfect bright and happy ,my fish were thriving on arrival, my my african dwarf frogs were lively very happy with my order everything was packed perfectly will definitely use aquatropics in future 5 star service thankyou

Fish and shrimp were well packaged in excellent condition, other than 2 RCS which unfortunately didn't survive the journey. Impossible to tell why but the Post Office aren't renowned for being great with parcels. A partial refund was promptly received, so no issues. Prices are good, but you have to factor delivery. For large orders this would still be better value than local stockists whose prices have rocketed. Ordering and email updates are excellent.

This is the second time I have purchased from Aquatropics.
The first time was three years ago. All the original fish are still doing well. So when it came time to purchase more fish it was a no brainer to purchase from them again.

This was the first time ordering live fish online since my local fish store didn't have the fish I wanted (celestial pearl danios). The fish arrived next day early morning all alive and well. Floated the bags and drip acclimated the fish for an hour and a half and put them in my tank. It's been 2 days and all the fish are in good health and very active. Will definitely order from them again

Placed an order and just had delivery from Aquatropics, no nonsense process from start to finish. The packing and care for the crabs was excellent, delivery dates and info provided was spot on. Would not hesitate recommending them or using them in the future

I placed my order for 8 Lamprologus Multifasciatus (Multi Shelldwellers) on 24th March 2026. A week later, they arrived as promised, healthy and happy.

I have deliberately left my review till now so I can fairly and accurately report on the health and wellbeing of my fish after some time has passed.

The fish were packaged extremely well with a carbon sachet and plastic ribbons which, I presume, reduce water sloshing and reduce stress. Although the box was not labelled as containing fish, it was clearly marked as fragile.

Communication was excellent throughout and the fish arrived when promised.

The fish were juvenile and fairly small but are growing fast and are all in perfect health. I have no issue with the size as it is reflected in the great price and I think being smaller would surely make shipping safer for the fish (more room and reduced water fouling).

I did have reservations about ordering fish via post but had difficulty sourcing these specimens locally however, this has been a very positive experience and I would not hesitate to order again in the future.
