Ardent Training Opiniões

I have just completed the Essential Navigation & Seamanship Course. The quality of the training material is outstanding. The video tutorials, accompanied by the slides, make the lessons easy to follow, practical, and enjoyable. You can see the presenters are genuinely interested in the material they are presenting and engaged. I have no hesitation in recomending Ardent Training. I have now signed up for the RYA Fast Track to Coastal Skipper/YachtmasterOffshore Theory Course.

I completed my theory for the day skipper with ardent training and I have to say this was top class experience. The material is very well explained, and they managed to keep every lesson entertaining. The small knowledge checks after every module really helped me to retain more information at the end of the day. The platform and the videos are very well made and the instructors are really easy to get attached to, if it was not online I would happily grab a beer with them haha

The course is well organised and concise without cutting corners. I started it about a month ago and have just passed the exam. It definitely has been a steep learning curve for me but I felt supported throughout. Particularly impressed by the response time when I needed further explanation.

The Ardent team are not only great attentive teachers that have prepared some fantastic resources, but also come across as straight down lovely real people! I thoroughly enjoyed day skipper theory and absolutely intend to come back for coastal skipper theory.

Very informative and down to earth quality content. Good assessments throughout the course to help hone in for the final exam. Response times to assessment, final exam and general questions was near instantaneous. No sitting and waiting for them to get back to you. Content was easy to go through at your own pace as you would expect and easy to go back to previous topics to help revise. Highly recommended!!

Great course, well presented and easy to follow, backed up by supporitve and helpful instructors. Took me quite a bit longer than the 50 hours recommended but the outcome was worth it. Thanks guys.

A really great format for learning the Day Skipper material. Video with slides so that you can watch and then review the materials. Access is available for a year from when you begin the course. Instructors are responsive and quick to provide feedback, support and suggestions to ensure that you understand the material and are prepared for the exam. Additional materials/ reference worksheets and opportunities to be part of the community are all available through the website. Super impressed and would highly recommend!

You guys are awesome, always available to answer a question or clarify a point. The content you build and maintain is one of the leading ones out there. But mainly the way it’s delivered and simplified for the learner made the experience so simple. It helped learn through understanding and not through memorization by heart. And then the community you have is beyond amazing with all the blogs, extra content and live events.

I wish I was close to do my practical with you guys.

Thank you again for all the support and the feedback.

I've just finished Day Skipper Theory. It was an excellent course, professionally presented by hugely experienced and knowledgeable people who are very enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Can't recommend Ardent highly enough.

Excellent videos with humans to connect with. Responsive, quick, and helpful. In depth feedback. Very happy with choosing Ardent.

They have an amazing course and we’re so supportive with fast responses and detailed explanations.

Just finished and happy to say passed my RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore Theory with Ardent Training.
The course itself has been fantastic, the lessons are clear, detailed and easy to follow. The structure with the knowledge checks, module assessments and a mock exam (with helpful feedback from the team) really helped to test and solidify your knowledge. Along with a very useful resources section and class pack sent to you to make calculations and chart work so much easier. All this really helps set you up for the real thing.
The support and super quick help and feedback from the team was absolutely fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed the course and learnt so much!
Highly recommended if you’re looking for online RYA courses I don’t think you’ll get better.

Damn, super good training, well explained, especially for me being a real bugger for numbers and calculations but in the end got it through the training. The staff of Ardent are there on the spot within minutes ti guide you if you have any questions or queeries. Overall an absolute go if you wanna get ur Day Skipper course or any of their courses. Well set up and informative and foremost clear. Thanks guys!

I read most of Bowditch…understood about 30% of it. I read a lot of Chapman, but it’s also really dense. This course covered a lot of ground, but broke it down pretty well and I feel like I could retain a lot more. The course materials themselves are great, and having someone immediately available (between 8 and 8 UK time) ended up being extremely valuable. My only complaint was bugginess in the various interfaces. Strongly recommend using a laptop and the website for the screen size and more predictable behavior. My iPhone had pretty frequent issues with both the app and the RYA tides site (which is not Ardent’s fault, but it’s required for the course). Like, it would delete my last answer on a test question unless I hid the keyboard before going to the next question, or give me tides info from a previously used date if I didn’t reload the site first. So, I take off one star for those issues, but the staff really were on the ball when they arose, so I’d still recommend the company rather highly. Also, if you’re in the US, the questions always assume IALA-A and their DST is not the same as here, so remember to always translate.

The day skipper this was an absolutely brilliant course that was a pleasure to go through with Ardent training. It's structured into small chunks that are easy to process even during short breaks like lunch so even if you have 10 minutes, you can progress in the course. The text and video format is the format to go with in 2026 and many chapters can be done by just using headphones without a video while doing something else. I enjoyed every bit of it, it's nothing like an old boring PowerPoint presentation based course. With the videos and Ardent instructors, it feels very pleasant and personal.

Very clear instructional videos and an instructor available to assist when I had any questions.

This is a really good company to do courses with. The instructor team are always happy to help you and respond very quickly. I really liked all the feedback and help I received after my mock exam and I also liked how the content was informative but still fun.

This was a great experience. The team have made learning a quite complicated subject really easy, I did the day skipper online course. Everything has been seamless and the team have always been on hand to reply promptly to any queries. Response times for marking exams was amazing, even at weekends.

I recently completed my Day Skipper Theory course with Ardent Training and was extremely impressed with the quality of the service.
The course videos were clear, engaging and easy to follow, with excellent explanations throughout. The practical exercises were particularly helpful, allowing me to confirm my understanding before moving on to the next topic. This made the learning process feel structured and manageable, while also building confidence as the course progressed.
One of the standout features was the support from the instructors. They are available seven days a week and consistently responded to my questions within around five minutes. Their knowledge, professionalism and willingness to help made a real difference to my learning experience.
Overall, Ardent Training provides a highly professional, well-organised and supportive service. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering their Day Skipper Theory course or further sailing qualifications.
